Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Roxas let the silence sink in. The awkward aura was no longer around, instead replaced by something...more sad. He wasn't sure what was worse, but it would go away...as long as he and Namine held each other...

Namine was so tired of the troubles that life brought on them. If Roxas didn't have the Keyblade, then they wouldn't have gone through so much hardship in their lives. No Vanitas, no Smith, no Brian...She would still have Ty with her. Was the Keyblade a blessing, or was it a curse?
Kairi walked along the streets of Hollow Bastion with Sora, the girl silent. Not much had been said between them this morning, but she guessed she was okay with that. All that there was really to talk about was something involving Vanitas or Xehanort, and she knew that Sora didn't want to think about that; she didn't either, because he nearly died because of those two.

Sora held Kairi's hand when they walked, the two of them pretty quiet. There was so much to say; they hadn't seen each other in a long time. Well, at least it felt that way to him. The last they really had quality time together was before he left to search for Aqua, Terra, and Ven, and that was a while ago. But neither of them were willing to talk about anything related to that for obvious reasons.
Kairi brought her arm up that wasn't being held by Sora's hand, lightly putting her hand on Sora's arm. She felt a little closer to him this way, though she knew that they were close through their hearts, which was an unbreakable connection. That showed after what happened to Sora's heart, when it found hers. Even if Kairi had been extremely upset, she was grateful it had been safe within her.

Sora glanced down at Kairi, his eyes softening when she was closer to him. They walked into the Bailey, and Sora brought them to a gentle halt at a place where they could sit on a windowsill and relax. Well...until he somehow started this conversation. They had to talk about it eventually, so it was better just to get it done with now.
Kairi saw where Sora stopped them, and she squeezed his hand before letting go. She took a step forward and turned around, propping herself up on the small stone ledge. Her back was to the scenery, the girl's eyes focused on Sora. He was all Kairi wanted to look at after so long.

Sora looked at Kairi in front of him, his eyes stuck on hers. He couldn't really read them for some reason, and he guessed that it was because they had been apart for a while and he had to relearn how to do it. That made him a little sad, but he knew he couldn't dwell on that. He had to bring up the real problem that they had faced lately. Xehanort and Vanitas.
Kairi wasn't sure how to respond to the look in Sora's eyes, but she kept her gaze on them. It'd been too long since she'd seen them. She may have seen him yesterday after the battle, but his helmet had kept her from seeing those eyes that she loved.

Sora took a small step forward, getting a little closer to Kairi. "You know we have to talk about everything," he said softly. Neither of them would be able to move forward if they didn't, after all. And besides, Sora was concerned for her; how had she felt during the past few days when he was gone? How was she dealing with everything?
Kairi frowned slightly, though it vanished just as quickly. She nodded once, glancing down at the lack of space between her and the boy she loved, before lifting her eyes back up to his. Of course she knew they had to talk; she just wasn't sure how it would go...or if she even wanted to.

"...How are you?" Sora started after a moment of silence, his eyes staying on Kairi. Unfortunately, he hadn't been around the past few days to see that. She had Namine as support, but he still wished that he could have been with her, especially after all the chaos surrounding the location of his heart.
Kairi shrugged a little, her hands in her lap. "Okay," she answered softly. She'd been better; certainly Sora knew that. Things had been really scary lately, worse than before.
  • Author
Sora nodded slightly, at least glad to get an "okay". After everything, that was really the best that he could expect from her. He couldn't forget how close she had been to death at Vanitas's hand, and that made him furrow his eyebrows slightly and look down.
Kairi's eyes softened a little with curiosity when she saw Sora's facial expression, though she didn't question it out loud. She wasn't sure what to say, really, considering how awful things had been lately. She was still effected by everything, especially Vanitas. He was...terrifying, really.

"I'm glad I was still able to protect you," Sora said, looking up at Kairi when he spoke. He felt like it was obvious who he was referring to, so he didn't bother saying his name. Vanitas...He would have killed Kairi if Sora hadn't stepped in. But how had he even gotten there, anyway? One second his heart was in hers, and then the next he was in his body and in front of her. He didn't even remember how it happened, which was strange.
Kairi felt herself smile weakly at the confession, agreeing. "So am I," she said softly. She was grateful to him, as she always would be. Sora saved her more times than she could count. He was her hero.

"I...don't even know how it happened," Sora said, lifting a hand and running it over the back of his head as he looked towards the ground in thought. His time within Kairi had felt more like a dream than anything else, and then when he felt like he woke up, he was in front of her and keeping Vanitas from attacking her. It was such a strange feeling.
"Maybe..." Kairi started softly, "my heart called to you again. Like last time." She was referring to what happened here, in Hollow Bastion so many years ago when the Heartless were about to attack her. Her heart had reached Sora's, wherever it was at the time, and he came back. Maybe the same thing happened again.
  • Author
"...Maybe," Sora said in agreement, though he didn't quite feel like that was it. He had meant to ask Master Yen Sid about it after they left the Keyblade Graveyard, but he had forgotten when the Master offered him and Roxas armor so they could fight Xehanort again.
Kairi tilted her head slightly as she looked at Sora. She felt like there was something she was missing, but that wasn't out of the ordinary. She was left out of a lot of things lately. Regardless, she lifted one of her hands and leaned forward a little, bringing her fingertips to Sora's cheek.
  • Author
Sora automatically looked up when he felt Kairi's fingertips touch his cheek, his hands down by his sides as he met her eyes. That whole thing, however it happened, had been too close for comfort. Without that miracle, things would have ended terribly.
"I never got to say it before," Kairi told the boy she loved quietly, a faint smile on her lips. "...Thank you, Sora." She would always be grateful to him, since he did so much for her. He protected her when she thought she would be in so much trouble, and he came through for her. That was more than enough.

Sora felt a weak smile tug at his lips, but he didn't feel like he deserved too much gratitude. It was his job to protect Kairi after all; his duty to her as a Keyblader and a lover. "No," he said softly. "Thank you." She had sheltered his heart when he was lost...He couldn't have been more grateful for that.
Kairi's weak smile grew slightly, the girl knowing exactly what Sora was referring to. She nodded slightly in response, her hand remaining against his cheek. She was more than happy to be his vessel in that kind of situation, though she hoped it never happened again.
