Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

"Stop," Lightning ordered, knowing what he was thinking. He thought she was avoiding it, and she was. And she liked it better that way. The thought of Riku...going away, made her stomach turn.
Riku exhaled a sharp breath and turned his head away, looking at the ship they were still standing next to. He didn't like to think about anyone dying because of Warp, but he had to expect that kind of thing going into battle, that way he wouldn't be surprised...even if he probably still would be.

Light turned completely away from Riku, her back to him as she looked out over the world. Her eyes were so moist, though, that it was actually blurry. She would blink, but she was afraid of tears falling. She...was scared. She was terrified of losing Riku. She couldn't handle it.
Riku let his eyes find Light again when she moved, and he sighed softly. "Lightning," he said weakly, stepping forward the distance between them. He wrapped his arms around her from behind, closing his eyes.

Lightning felt her wall come down when Riku embraced her from behind. She lowered her head and shut her eyes, two tears falling and dropping to the ground. She was scared. She had to admit it to herself. She was afraid of what the outcome of this would be, and it was affecting her emotionally.
Riku held onto Light, not seeing her bow her head but feeling it. He felt bad. Maybe he shouldn't have said what he did...

"...Don't die on me," Light said softly, feeling Riku's toned torso against her back and his hands on her stomach. "Please." She wouldn't be able to handle it. She hated death; it took away the people she cared about. Like her parents.
"I'll try not to," Riku said softly, opening his eyes to look down at the girl he held. "But if it's to protect you, I will without a second thought." He cared too much about her not to give up his life for her.

"Riku," Light protested weakly, eyes still shut. "Don't." She just said that she didn't want to hear this, and she didn't want to consider him dying for her. She was strong; he shouldn't have had to. She would take care of herself.
Riku frowned a little in sadness, releasing a quiet breath. "I know," he sighed. "I'm sorry." He gently tightened his hold around her, letting his lower cheek rest against the side of her head. He didn't want to upset Light, not anymore than she was.

Light lifted her arms, setting them over Riku's on her stomach as her eyes remained closed. She didn't bother responding to Riku's apology, not finding any appropriate words to say. Or any at all. Another tear dropped from her eye, the girl unaware that it would land on Riku's arm.
Riku felt something wet drop onto the skin of his forearm, and he looked down at it to see a drop of water. It wasn't raining, so that meant it was her tear. "Light, stop," he begged her, pulling her closer to him as he lowered his head to be closer to her face. Don't cry.

Though Riku's efforts were meant to get her to stop, his tone and his method of comfort only made Lightning feel more vulnerable. She didn't say anything, knowing that her voice would give her away. She shed another tear, and this one slid down her cheek before it fell and landed on her own arm.
Riku nuzzled the side of his face into Light's pink hair, just holding her. He didn't know what to say, or if there was anything he could say. This situation was awful, dark. All he wanted, though, was to make her comfortable and happy. But in this time, it would be really hard.

Light exhaled a shaky breath, choking back a sob that escaped softly. She was a wreck. Just a few days ago, she as in her own time period. Even if they were hunting Warp, she had faith that she and her friends could defeat him. But now, in this era, everything was changed. It was scary how helpless she felt here.
"It's going to be okay," Riku said against Light's hair, his voice muffled because of it. He would do his best to make sure things would work that way, and protect Light from any hurt in the process.

Lightning nodded slightly, eyes still shut after all this time. She always believed Riku, unless he was proved wrong somehow. So, if he said things would be okay, then they would be. He couldn't be wrong about that. Fate wouldn't bring them together after five years and then tear them apart, would it?
Riku turned his head a little more and kissed Light's pink hair before pulling back, not letting go. He didn't want her to cry, because then he was upset. He just wanted her to be happy. But right now, that was impossible.

Light lifted a hand off Riku's arms, wiping at her eyes as she opened them and looked out at the area in front of her. "Sorry," she said weakly. "I'm not supposed to be the one who's upset." Riku just suffered five years of loneliness, after all. But, being thrown into this chaos wasn't easy either. It was heartbreaking.
"Well I don't expect you to be happy, either," Riku said in understanding. "You just got thrown through a vortex five years into the future. Everything's different for you. You can't adjust on the spot." He let his hand move over her stomach a little as he spoke, keeping his hold around her.

"...It feels like a nightmare sometimes," Light confessed softly, lowering her head and looking at the ground through moist eyes. "I wonder when I'll wake up and find myself back home, but...I know this is real." There was no doubt about it, and no use denying it.
Riku didn't know what to say, so he looked ahead at the mountains not too far off. He felt awful, but he didn't know how to fix things. Maybe the only way was for Lightning to go back...

Light blinked and another tear escaped, though it went directly for the ground. "This future is a nightmare, and I have the responsibility of setting things right again," she said softly. "I know I'm not doing it alone, but..." But there still was so much pressure. She wanted to change things so Riku wouldn't feel sad or alone. She wanted him to be happy.
"But nothing," Riku said, eyebrows furrowing a little. "You're not doing this alone, and you'll go home." He would help, and he was sure the others would as soon as they found out what was going on.

Light nodded faintly, her arm going back to Riku's arm along with the other one. She knew that, she just...didn't know how it would work out. How many people would have to suffer because of her? If she went back in time and changed the future, then their suffering wouldn't exist, but still...She didn't like this.
