Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

"Maybe," Rena said, narrowing her eyes as she looked over the area, following Darren's lead and circling the area. "But...would he really be dumb enough to expose himself like this?" She had thought more highly of the Black Knight than that.

Jasmine crawled out from underneath Light's head, the girl's head falling down to the ground. That hardly seemed to wake her, though, so the dog started licking at her face. That got a better reaction out of her. Lightning groaned slightly and woke up, pushing the dog away but keeping her eyes shut.

"Mm, maybe you're right," Darren agreed, seeing the guy with silver hair turn to follow their ships as they flew overhead. "But...who is this kook?" He'd never seen him before, anywhere.

Riku's eyes were glued to the ships, his adrenaline beginning to pump through his veins. "Lightning!" he called more firmly, an edge in his voice that only showed his warning and tension. He recognized those ships, for sure this time. This wasn't good. This really wasn't good.

"No clue," Rena said with a faint shrug. "Let's find out." She lowered her ship, starting to descend so that she and Darren could figure out what was going on. And finish their business with the girl.

Light grunted at the call, finally understanding something was wrong. She set her hands on the ground and pushed herself up so she was standing, forgetting that she took off her sword before the nap since she was still a little groggy. She looked up when she saw the ships, and that was when her eyes widened. What...?

Riku saw the first ship descend, but the second one didn't hesitate following. His eyes hardened, his jaw flexing as his hands balled into fists. He glanced over at Lightning, his gaze seeming to say it all. Be on your guard.

Light's hands curled by her sides, the girl briefly glancing over at Riku before she looked back to Rena, who landed her ship and stepped out. She caught onto Riku's silent look, but she didn't pull out her sword. She would be fine without it for a few moments.

Darren stepped out of his vessel as well, looking from Lightning to the unfamiliar guy standing not too far from her. Neither spoke, and Darren only smirked slightly. "Well, what are the chances of finding you here?" he said, looking to Lightning as he spoke to her. This was the one world they hadn't checked, and here she was.

Lightning curled her hands more tightly, seeing Rena summon her sword. She could tell Darren was speaking specifically to her and ignoring Riku for the moment, and it took her a second to realize why: They didn't recognize him outside of his suit. Let's keep it that way, she thought, glaring at Darren. "I'd say the chances are pretty low," she said, her voice low as well. "Dimwits like you weren't smart enough to track me down, so you had a lucky guess." She was sure nothing out there pointed to her and Riku being here...right?
Riku saw Darren lift an eyebrow in amusement, probably at the insult, but he only glanced at Lightning. They weren't even paying attention to him. They don't recognize me, he concluded after a small thought. Maybe it was better that way, for now. He could appear weak, and then spring an attack if the time called for it.

"Well, we found you now," Rena said, walking towards Lightning with her sword in her grasp. "So we'll take back that watch now." It was time she finally surrendered, and in case Lightning didn't notice, she left her sword on the ground. And she was backing up to keep a distance from Rena, getting further from her weapon. Hmph. Idiot.

Riku watched what was happening with Rena and Lightning, and he knew he had to do something. Stall, Riku. Stall. "...What watch?" he asked then, lifting an eyebrow as he skillfully played dumb. It would buy them some time at least.

Rena kept walking forward, seeing Lightning back up into a small wall where she was cornered. She chose to ignore the guy who spoke to them, tightening her grip on her sword as she got closer to the girl. "Hand over the watch, thief. You're cornered and weaponless."

Darren looked to the guy who spoke, who was now gazing at him for an explanation. "You've been stuck with this chick and you still don't know who she's running from?" he said, then rolling his eyes as he reached behind him for his bow and arrow. "You really are clueless."

Riku's eyebrows furrowed at that, seeing that obviously he wouldn't be able to buy time. His eyes found Lightning, seeing her position. Rena was already too close, which meant Riku would do what needed to be done to protect Light.

Rena stepped right in front of Light and put the sword across her neck, but Light didn't flinch. "You kill me and you'll never know where I hid that watch," she said, staring right into Rena's dark eyes. She was bluffing, because she had the watch on her, but the lie was enough to make Rena hesitate.

"Just kill her, Rena," Darren said, stringing his bow and placing the arrow on it. "We'll search the place for it. It's not like this guy's gonna stop us." He looked pointedly over at Riku, still not knowing who he was. He seemed pretty plain to him, no magical powers involved.

  • Author
Oh, but he will, Light thought, shifting her gaze to Darren when Rena didn't do the job. "What makes you think I hid it on this world?" she asked with an arched brow. "Did you think I was just flying around yesterday for pleasure, Darren? No, I was hiding the watch on a world that only I know of." Another bluff, but it was spoken with such confidence that Riku might have even believed her, since they never spoke of the watch.

Riku glanced over at Lightning with questioning eyes, though he didn't say a word. He knew nothing of the watch, but he did know that Darren was wrong about him. He would step up, and soon if Rena didn't back off.

Darren pulled his arrow back, holding it tightly. "So what'll we have to do to get it out of you?" he said. "Torture you? Or torture the innocent bystander you brought into this?"

  • Author
"Torture the innocent bystander for all I care," Lightning said without flinching. "He's just some mechanic I hired to fix a ship for me. He's nothing special." Lies, lies, all lies, she thought. But she was good at spinning this tale, so much so that Rena backed off about half an inch. It was a start.
If this were happening under light circumstances, Riku would have cracked a sarcastic remark at what Light said about him. But now wasn't the time. "Don't bring me into this," he played along, holding his hands up in surrender as he took a step back. That, of course, made Darren smile. He knew he already got the kid's attention.
  • Author
Smooth, Riku, Light thought, continuing to look at Darren. "What're you going to do?" she asked, ignoring the blade at her throat by now. Rena wasn't going to kill her; she believed the story she made up. As soon as Light had a moment, she'd go through with her next plan of action.

Darren took a few slow steps toward Riku, keeping his arrow pointed at him. Simultaneously, Riku backed into the machine he had been working on. "Get some information out of him, of course," Darren replied smoothly.

  • Author
"Have fun with that," Lightning replied, skillfully keeping up her act. "That fool doesn't know anything anyway. I actually wouldn't mind if you got rid of him; he charges too much to fix ships. If you kill him off, I don't have to pay him." She smirked slightly, though she was growing nervous at how Darren wasn't leaving Riku alone. Riku couldn't reveal his identity...

Riku let his eyes find Lightning and, playing along with the act, glared at her. He had to admit, she was good at this. But he had a feeling Darren wasn't going to give up until he did get information from him, or killed him. "Good luck getting anything out of me," Riku said, switching his gaze to Darren. "I don't know anything."

"Sure you don't," Darren replied, his tone showing that he obviously wasn't buying it. "That's why you're here, in the middle of nowhere in front of a castle in ruins, with some chick you don't even know. Like that makes sense."

  • Author

"Darren," Rena said, keeping the sword close enough to Lightning's throat that she couldn't do anything. She looked over her shoulder at him, seeing that look of disbelief he wore. "...I think he's telling the truth."

Riku saw Darren's arrogant expression deflate at Rena's words, and he glanced briefly at Lightning. His hands were still up in surrender, and would be until Darren lowered his arrow. But what were they going to do? Riku could take down Darren easily, but Rena's sword was too close to Light's neck; he didn't want to risk her getting hurt.
  • Author

"Just knock him out and let's do what we have to," Rena said, looking back to Lightning. "We have work to do on this one." She noticed Lightning glare at her at that, her smirk gone by now. They were going to get that watch, today.
