Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Riku didn't say or do anything. Instead, he just stayed where he was, his eyes glued to Lightning. He couldn't believe that girl managed to pull of such an ugly stunt. He should have expected as much.

Light cast her last spell, and though the wound still ached, it wasn't bleeding anymore. She never was as good of a medic as some of her other friends. She exhaled a soft breath and kept her head lowered, bangs covering her closed eyes.
Riku lifted a gloved hand, but immediately lowered it again. He needed to give Light some space, and upon seeing Jasmine sniff at the side of Lightning's head, he nudged her away. Jasmine understood, walking around him and sitting next to him, since he wasn't too close.

"Sorry," Light said softly, furrowing her eyebrows and tightening her grip on the sword. "I let my guard down." She should have seen something like that coming; Rena was talking too easily.
"You're apologizing?" Riku said in disbelief, furrowing his eyebrows. He knew she was, but still... He didn't like to hear her pretty much blame herself for what happened. "Well...don't," he continued, looking away briefly. "It wasn't your fault."

"It was, though," Light responded without moving. "I was supposed to be restraining her." And she had let her get away. She was just lucky Riku was able to stop her, or else things would have been terrible.
Riku closed his eyes and exhaled a soft breath, not wanting to fight about this. "Light," he said softly, opening his eyes then to look at her. "You're hurt enough physically. Don't put yourself down mentally." He didn't want to witness it, and he didn't want her to be so stubborn. It was already done and over; Rena was dead.

Lightning kept her head lowered, something in Riku's tone making her stop talking. Still, she would take responsibility for her actions if she had to. Or maybe this wound was her punishment. Either way, she'd deal with it.
Riku summoned his armor away, his helmet on the ground beside him disappearing as well. He positioned himself a little closer, but noticed her sword was still out. "Put that away for me," he requested softly.

Light opened her eyes, looking past her bangs to the sword. She grunted slightly and pulled it out of the ground before collapsing it, putting it away in its case as Riku requested.
Once the sword was in the case, Riku grabbed it and slung it over his shoulder. He then got even closer to Lightning and tucked his arms around her back and under her legs. With a grunt he stood up, pulling her to his chest as he held her in his arms. It was time to take her inside to rest up.

Lightning blinked in surprise, having not expected Riku to pick her up. She just thought...She didn't know what she thought. But she didn't mind being in his arms right now.
Riku started up the steps, hearing Jasmine follow just behind him. He held Light close to him, not wanting to let her go. Nobody would hurt her while he was so close.

But he's holding onto me for the wrong reasons, Light thought. He was holding her because he thought she was wounded. True, she was hurt, but it could have been worse. "Riku, I'm alright," she said softly, looking up at him. "You don't have to carry me."
Riku continued up the stairs, though he did glance down at Lightning. But he didn't say anything. He wanted to hold her close because he just wanted to, but he was also protective and worried over her. But was she as alright as she said?

Light saw by that glance that Riku wasn't completely buying it, not that she was terribly surprised by that. It was a nasty wound, and its effects did still linger some. She lowered her gaze from his face and just set her head on his shoulder, knowing that he didn't want to argue after not seeing her for five years.
Riku went on inside when Light didn't say anything more, and he headed up to the second floor with her still in his arms. Jasmine ran ahead of him down the hall and entered his room, which he walked into a few seconds later. He approached the bed and started to lower Lightning to the mattress.

Lightning never did have her arms wrapped around Riku, since her hands were dirty from covering her wound. She lowered her less dirty hand to the bed to keep herself sitting upright when Riku set her down, her other hand wrapped over her stomach and lightly gripping her shirt when the wound ached.
Riku let go of Lightning when she was completely on the mattress, and he stood up straight to look down at her. He wasn't sure what to say. He didn't like seeing her hurt, but there was nothing he could really do.

Light looked up at Riku when he gazed down at her, and she didn't know what to say to him. He was an open book right now; she could tell that he wasn't happy she was hurt. But he should have known that she was used to pain and battles; she was a soldier, after all. Or at least she used to be.
Riku let his eyes leave Lightning's face and move to her clothing, where he saw the blood. His eyebrows furrowed a little at the sight and he wordlessly started for the bathroom attached to his room so he could get a washcloth.

Light watched Riku leave, and then she carefully scooted herself further back on the bed. She grunted softly and propped up the pillows behind her, leaning into them as she sat back. When she was set, she leaned her head back against the headboard and shut her eyes, her arms folded over her stomach.
Riku got a washcloth from one of the cabinets and ran it under some warm water, that way he would be able to remove the blood stains on Lightning's coat. He turned the faucet off and entered his room again, approaching Lightning in his bed.

Light kept her eyes shut, though she heard Riku coming. He was quiet, but she was expecting him to come back, so that made it easier for her to hear him. She also thought she heard the water running, but she wasn't thinking about the possibility that Riku was getting a washcloth to clean her off.
Riku saw that Light wasn't paying attention, but that was alright. He sat down on the bed beside her anyway, holding the washcloth in one hand as he reached for one of hers with other. It was time to clean her off and get rid of any traces of Rena.
