Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Riku instantly pulled his hand off Light's coat, looking up at her. "Sorry," he muttered, before then looking back down at her clothing. He lowered the washcloth to the fabric again, but barely touched it, that way he wouldn't cause her pain again.

Light nodded slightly, head lowered and eyes remaining shut. Her eyebrows remained furrowed, but not as deeply as before when Riku wasn't causing her so much pain. She almost wished she hadn't brought up the subject of Warp. No good could come from that man.
Riku wiped at the stain on Light's clothes for another few minutes, letting the air be somewhat thick between them. After a little while, however, he brought up something he wanted to know. "...What was it like?" he asked softly, keeping his gaze on the blood stain. "Traveling through time?"

Light glanced up at Riku from behind her bangs before she looked down to Riku's hand wiping her shirt. "It was...strange," she said softly. "There wasn't much gravity in the vortex, but enough that both of us were able to still fight. It didn't feel like much time passed at all when we were in there." Certainly not five years.
Riku grunted slightly, still trying to get the stain out. It lifted a little, but there wasn't much else he could do. He took his hand back, giving Light some room to breathe as he lifted his eyes from her shirt to her.

Light saw the stain when Riku pulled the rag away, and he did a good job getting rid of it. It came out more than she thought it would. "During the fight, I stole the watch off his wrist," she said, lifting her gaze to Riku when she remembered that significant part of the story. "That forced him out of the vortex, I guess, but I lingered there for a few more seconds before I suddenly appeared in Destiny Islands." But those few seconds were really a few months.
"And he wants it back," Riku concluded, stating the obvious. That was why those teens had been running around and chasing Light. He hadn't bothered to ask before that, but now he knew. Warp wanted the watch, and on top of that, wanted to kill Light.

Light nodded faintly, lifting her head more and leaning it against the headboard as she looked to Riku. "And he wants me dead for stealing it," she said bluntly. "I damaged his pride." He thought he was untouchable, but he wasn't. Lightning proved that by stealing the watch and thwarting his plans.
Riku nodded slightly, though he kept his eyes on Light's face. He wanted to say one thing, but he knew that it would upset her; it had before Darren and Rena showed up. It was that he would be the one standing in Warp's way, that way Light couldn't be touched. He meant what he said when he would die for her.

Light kept her gaze on Riku's, not finding anything else to say. They had this discussion earlier, though she didn't say why Warp wanted her dead. Now he knew, and he knew that she held onto something precious to Warp. She kept it on her, because she would die to keep it away from Warp.
''Well, you know how I feel about the situation," Riku stated after a small minute of silence between them. He wasn't going to let Light die. They might not survive through the conflict with Warp, but she would. She had to, in order to set things right.

"And you know how I feel," Lightning responded, furrowing her eyebrows slightly. Riku said he'd die for her, and she knew he meant it, but she couldn't survive this ordeal without him. He couldn't throw himself in front of a truck for her when she was capable of protecting herself.
"Regardless, you're the one who has to go back," Riku said, pushing himself up from the bed so he could put the washcloth in the sink. "I'll be sure that's what happens, even if it's the last thing I do." And if it was, it was. It would just be his fate.

Light followed Riku with her eyes, her expression staying the same. Don't you dare bring this back up again, she thought. It made her upset earlier, and it would upset her now. If she and Riku switched positions, he'd be feeling the same way as her.
Riku caught Light's look and his eyebrows furrowed, but he didn't say anything in response. Instead, he started toward the bathroom, disappearing into it and starting to clean the rag.

Light sighed softly when Riku went into the other room, and after a few moments, she carefully laid down in his bed. She felt fatigued from the wound, and from the situation in general. The affects of the time travel were still lingering. She laid on her side that wasn't wounded and placed her head on the pillows that she moved so she'd be more comfortable, eyes shutting.
In a few minutes Riku finished washing out the rag, but he left it in the sink to dry. He left the bathroom and immediately looked to the bed, seeing that Lightning had her eyes closed. I'll leave her to rest, he thought silently, his gaze falling on Jasmine nearby. He patted the side of his leg lightly and she got up from her blanket, following him as he made his way toward the door.

Light heard Riku softly leave the room, but that was the last thing that she heard before she lost consciousness. She would surely wake up again in a few hours, though, and then she would have enough energy to think of a plan to get Warp, before he got her.
Riku went back downstairs and outside, Jasmine following behind him. He went back to work on the ship that had been interrupted upon Darren and Rena's arrival. But now that things were peaceful, he was sure he could finish it while Lightning slept.

Light slept for a few hours, still sleeping about an hour before the sun was going to set. She had slept most of the day away, but it was alright. Whatever it took to make sure she had the strength to fight her battles.
The Knight is outside working on some machine. Now is my chance. Warp allowed his ship to go invisible as he flew closer to the castle, knowing that Darren and Rena had failed in their mission; they hadn't returned with the watch, but he had placed a tracker in Darren's ship in case such a thing happened. He was going to have to do the work all himself. He grew closer to the castle, glancing down at the silver-haired figure still absorbed in the machinery before hovering just above a hole in the side of the castle wall. It would allow him easy access.

Light still slept soundly, not sensing any danger in the area. She allowed herself to be pretty out of it yet again, since she knew Riku wouldn't distance himself from her too much. Even if this world was safe and Warp didn't know they were there, they had to be cautious.

Riku heard Jasmine start barking at something, but when he turned around, nothing was there. He even looked skyward, but saw nothing. "Quiet down, Jazz," he demanded, then turning his attention back to the ship. He could only guess she was barking at some birds.

Warp only smirked to himself, hidden behind a wall from the young man's view. He heard the dog, and the order given, which only amused him. "As if they can catch me," he muttered, then jumping from his ship through the hole in the wall. It was a small gateway to one of the higher floors of the castle, but he made his way to the more inhabited region of the building in only minutes. He could sense his most precious item not too far off, and following it, found the room where the thief was resting. There you are.

Light remained still, though her eyebrows furrowed ever so slightly when she thought she heard something. But she wouldn't wake up to such a small noise; it was probably just Jasmine.

Warp walked forward through the room, approaching the young lady in the bed. She was so vulnerable that it was perfect. He summoned his saber to him, knowing that it would be too easy to kill her now. Of course, he wasn't going to waste the opportunity.

Riku lifted his left arm to adjust the controls of the vessel, but that was when he saw the button start blinking against his black armguard. His eyes sharpened in alert. "The alarm?" he said instantly, leaning out of the ship to look toward the castle. Jasmine was on her feet now, barking toward the door. "Lightning." Riku took off into a sprint immediately, knowing something was wrong.
