Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

"I...sort of remember, what it was like to see out of your eyes," Sora said, trying to formulate his thoughts and put them into words. He felt his weak smile fade away in seriousness as he looked to the ground. "When you first saw my body, and you called out to me, I didn't respond because...I was scared." He was stunned when Riku brought his body to Kairi, and he doubted Kairi had been aware of his emotions at that time since she was dealing with her own issues.
Kairi's eyes softened in sadness, the girl pulling her hand away from Sora's cheek. She remembered that time, and how upset she had been. She had never cried so much, so hard, in her life. Seeing Sora like that was awful.

Sora kept his gaze down, feeling Kairi's hand leaving his cheek. "I...knew what it would take for my heart to leave you," he said, referring to extracting it. Everyone but Kairi had known about it, but Riku brought it up before too long. And he was so glad that Riku had been thinking logically and he hadn't tried anything stupid to get Sora his heart back.
Kairi tilted her head a little, some of her red hair falling over her shoulder. Her eyes stayed on the boy she loved, listening for his voice again. She had a feeling he was going somewhere with this, and she was all ears.

"I...don't know," Sora said, glancing up at Kairi before he looked back down at the ground. "I was scared for a few moments that Riku would try something to get me free, but I should have known better than that." Riku loved Kairi too; he wouldn't have done anything to put her at risk.
Kairi smiled weakly. "Riku has his moments where he's a stubborn fool," she said in agreement, thinking of all the times he never really thought things through, which was rare. "But he cares too much not to stop and think in a situation like that."

"Yeah," Sora agreed with a nod, lifting his gaze to Kairi. Riku wouldn't have done anything foolish, but...that didn't change how devastated his friend had looked when he brought Kairi his body. He had never seen Riku like that before.
Kairi's smile slowly melted away, the silence causing that. But so did the look on Sora's face. What was he thinking about? She really would've liked to be inside his head. They loved each other; they should be able to share anything, right?

Sora saw Kairi studying his facial expression, and he immediately knew that she was wondering what he was thinking about. But...did he really want to say that out loud? Was it relevant? He knew that it was, but would Riku be mad at him for saying something like that? Riku hated being vulnerable, and Sora saw him when he was pretty bad.
"Sora...?" Kairi said, giving him a look of worry. What was wrong, on top of everything else? He could talk to her; surely he knew that...

"Uh, nothing," Sora lied, glancing at Kairi before he looked back down at the ground. It wouldn't feel right, saying such a thing about Riku. Where was he, anyway? Was he around?
Kairi gave Sora a look of worry, but she otherwise nodded. "Okay," she said, not knowing what else to say. She needed to respect his privacy, she supposed. He didn't have to tell her anything he didn't want to.

Maybe I'll talk to Riku later, Sora thought, though he was lying to himself. Riku wasn't one for conversation like that. He doubt that had changed recently, unless Sora's state really had affected him deeply.
Kairi looked away from Sora, not wanting to stare when he was obviously thinking about something. She switched her sights to the door not too far off, not really thinking about anything at the moment. Things were just...quiet. And she guessed that was a good thing, after all the chaos.

Sora stepped forward, turning himself around and sitting on the edge by Kairi. He hadn't seen Riku all morning, and he wondered where his friend was. What was he up to? Was he alright after the rough battle yesterday?
Kairi lightly kicked her legs, switching her gaze to that. The back of her sneakers hit against the stone wall she was sitting on, but she didn't really care. Things were quiet now, but she wasn't sure that was a bad thing. She and Sora always had comfortable silences.

Sora exhaled a soft breath, the teen leaning forward and clasping his hands when his elbows rested on his knees. He just needed to relax; Riku was fine. He always was.
Kairi kept her hands against the stone wall, supporting herself as she sat on it. She wondered what everyone else was doing... She hadn't seen anybody except for Sora today. Namine and Roxas were asleep when she left with him, and Riku was already gone. As for Terra, Aqua, and Ven, she was clueless. They weren't anywhere to be found either.

Sora looked over at Kairi, and he realized then that he hadn't really held her closely for a while. He lifted an arm and wrapped it around her shoulders, bringing her closer to him.
Kairi turned her head, her eyes finding Sora at the gesture. She smiled lightly at him, leaning against his side a little. She wasn't sure how sore he was from yesterday, but he didn't show any signs of pain, so she didn't think a little of her weight would hurt...

Sora felt a small amount of pain when Kairi leaned against him, but he didn't show it. Instead, he lightly squeezed her shoulder and kept his gaze on her. He couldn't help but stare; he had missed her.
Kairi's smile grew a little, the girl's eyes on her boyfriend's. They had been closed for so long when he was comatose, and she had been sad about that. But now that they were open, she didn't think she'd have a problem gazing at them for a while.

Sora eventually tore his gaze away from Kairi's, the teen turning his head and lightly leaning the side of it against Kairi's. He was so glad he could be close to her after everything; he couldn't help but leave his negative thoughts alone and just enjoy being with her.
Kairi closed her eyes after a moment of being in Sora's arms, feeling his head against hers. It only made her smile stay on her face, the girl comfortable with the atmosphere and their position. She had missed him, so much.

Sora shut his eyes, his fingers running over Kairi's shoulder lightly as the silence surrounded them. This moment was nice, and he hoped that they could enjoy it for a while. He was so sick of trouble; it was time for peace.
