Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Light's eyes widened in surprise. "Hey!" she cried, running forward to go after Warp. He wasn't going to get away that easily!

Warp ignored the cry and rid his hand of his saber, hopping onto the ledge only to leap off of it. He fell a few yards before his vessel caught him, and he zoomed off, aiming to leave this world and fall under the safety of his own.

Lightning skidded to a halt when he jumped off the ledge, got into a ship and flew off, her eyes following him. She had no way to follow, and Ven ran off to help Riku out with finishing off his enemy, so he couldn't go after Warp. Light was the only one not in battle, and she couldn't trail their enemy. She furrowed her eyebrows, frustrated as she kept her gaze on the sky.
Riku was unaware of the fact that Warp left the scene entirely, his focus on Darren. He fought the pain in his leg and pursued him, whacking him with the tip of his Keyblade and making the boy cry out. He wasn't sure how much longer this battle would last, but Darren was about to perish.

Sora finished up his long battle with Gual, finally getting the better of him. His enemy perished at his blade, and the brunet looked around to see that everybody else was still in battle except for Lightning. And she was looking to the sky. Furrowing his eyebrows, he looked up as well, seeing a portal disappear. Warp got away.
Riku swung at Darren one more time, cutting him clean across the throat. The kid fell to the ground gripping his neck, but the blood didn't go far; he disappeared in a small amount of light, leaving the world and universe forever.

Ven glanced away once Riku killed Darren, and from his higher position on the stairs, he could see Terra finish off Rena before he ran to help his wife. But the blond's gaze quickly went to the girl who was glaring at the sky. He summoned his Keyblade away and walked down to her, knowing that he was done fighting.
Roxas ran forward and slashed both of his Keyblades in an X-formation, ending up on the other side of Zane. He heard the kid grunt before turning around and witnessing him fall to the ground, only to disappear. The only one that was left was Kamon, and he could already tell from where he stood that he was no match against Terra and Aqua.

Ven stopped by his big sister, still thinking of her that way even if he was older than she was now. Lightning stopped glaring at the sky and turned to face him, looking up because he was on taller stairs. He was her height now, anyway. He summoned his armor away and smiled weakly at her, seeing her eyes widen at his older appearance. He wore a white sweatshirt with a blue shirt underneath and jeans, but she didn't seem to dwell on his outward appearance too long. She threw her arms around him and embraced him tightly and he held her back, unaware that she shut her eyes to keep the moisture from showing to everyone.
Kamon fell to Aqua and Terra's swords in only a few minutes, and the woman breathed heavily as his body faded before her. She turned her head to look at her husband just a few feet away, seeing him through her helmet. He was still just as strong as he was five years ago, if not stronger.

Ven looked down at his sister, a faint smile still on his lips. How could he not smile when he got to see her again? She vanished five years ago, but he never did believe she was dead. Deep down inside, he always believed she'd return. "Hey sis," he greeted softly, gently squeezing her, He thought he heard her take in a shaky breath, but surely it was just his imagination. He had never seen her cry before.
Riku cast Cure on the entire group from where he stood, farthest from Lightning and Ventus. He let his Keyblade fade away after that, just silently watching the reunion and looking at his friends. He hadn't seen any of them in six months. It was unfortunate that something life-threatening had to bring them all together again.

Sora felt Riku's spell wash over him, and he summoned his Keyblade away after seeing the fighting was over. He smiled weakly behind his mask at Ven and Lightning, though he couldn't see the latter's expression. His armor faded away to reveal his street clothes: sneakers, tan khakis, and a navy blue shirt with a red sweatshirt over it. His hair was also less spiky than it was before. He wanted to get rid of it completely since he felt a little childish with crazy spiky hair now, but Kairi insisted he keep it. And so he did.
Riku looked to his best friend when his armor faded away, and he walked over to approach him. Clapping his hand on Sora's shoulder, he smiled weakly down at him. "Hey, buddy," he greeted. It was good to see him again, despite the circumstances.
  • Author
"Hey, stranger," Sora greeted with a faint smirk, teasing Riku lightly. It had been too long since he saw his best friend. Way too long. But protecting the princesses kept Sora busy, and Riku was too busy to visit as well. But everyone was together now, for the first time in at least a year.
The oldest of the two smirked a little at the sight of Sora's. "How's Kairi?" Riku asked, letting his gaze leave his best friend and instead go to the two that were still hugging it out. He missed his other best friend, and hoped she was doing well.
  • Author
"She's missing you," Sora said, his smirk fading away into a weak, sadder smile. Kairi really missed having Riku around, and Sora did too. The three of them weren't the happy group they used to be, even if they were still close enough to be family. They always would be.
Riku's hand left Sora's shoulder, the older young man instead crossing his arms over his broad chest. "I tried visiting, but I kept getting distracted," he admitted. It was Warp's lackeys that always occupied his time, unfortunately, but he tried to see them. It just never worked out.
  • Author
"Well, I can take a guess about what one of those distractions was," Sora said, shifting his gaze to Lightning and Ven. They were no longer hugging, but they were talking now. Lightning must have kept Riku distracted, however and whenever she appeared. Sora had thought she was dead, but apparently he was wrong.
Riku lifted an eyebrow as he glanced at Sora, but upon following his gaze, he lowered it. "Yeah," he agreed with a small nod. Lightning had his attention for the past few days. He barely let her out of his sight. But when he did, somehow trouble always occurred. Maybe that was some sort of sign that Riku needed to acknowledge.

"So, you mind telling me what's going on?" Sora asked, arching a brow as he looked back to Riku. "You know me, I'm clueless as always." He smirked faintly, making fun of himself. He always was the last to find out about stuff, even now that he was older. Unless, of course, it was a threat. Then he was often one of the first to know. He took his job as a protector seriously.
"Hmph," Riku grunted, his smirk returning as he looked down at Sora. But then his eyes fell on Lightning again, even if he couldn't see her face. "Right after I visited you guys in Radiant Garden the last time, I ran into Warp on my own. He just left the time continuum when we met, and he told me Light would follow soon enough. It was just a few days ago that I found her on the Islands." Their former home that was covered in nothing but ice, where Light nearly died.

"Hm," Sora hummed, eyebrows furrowing in seriousness as he shifted his gaze to Lightning. So she just met up with Riku a few days ago, in the world that was totally frozen over. The home he tried to not think about too often. "Warp showed up six months ago?" Somehow, he wasn't surprised at that. The Darkness had gotten stronger in the past six months. Kairi got into trouble one time when Sora was unable to protect her, but he came through in the end even if she was a capable fighter now. He would always protect her, no matter what.
"Mm," Riku hummed softly, his aqua eyes still glued to the girl he cared for with all his heart. He couldn't describe how he felt when he found out when Light was alive, but she was with him now. He was sure that didn't matter to just him; Ven probably felt the same.

Sora looked back to Riku, seeing how he looked at Lightning. It was the same as Roxas looked at Namine, or Terra looked at Aqua, or even himself and Kairi. It was love. "What's next on the agenda?" he asked Riku. Surely he had a plan in mind for setting things right.
