Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

The next morning   Riku lingered in the living room as Lightning's guests talked on the sofas. It was the day after Sora and Kairi's wedding, and now that the event was over, everyone was heading ba

"...Lightning," Riku said softly. He felt awful. This was something they tried to avoid, but they were too late. Hope...was gone. But there was something they could do about this. Light just couldn't give up.

Light didn't move or respond, not showing any signs that she heard Riku. But she did, and she was listening. She was so startled by all this; she had witnessed the murder of her parents, but it wasn't the same as seeing Hope shot and killed. This was even more startling in some ways.
"Listen to me," Riku requested, his voice soft and gentle with the girl he loved. He lifted his hand from her shoulder and placed it on the back of her head. "This isn't set in stone. Hope's not really gone." This wasn't the real future. It could be changed. "You can stop this from happening, Light." They just had to defeat Warp and send her back. Hope would still be alive.

Light kept her face in Hope's hair, though she did hear what Riku had to say. Hope...he wasn't gone yet. He was, but this wasn't set in stone, as Riku said. She started remembering her mission, and how she was going to go back in time. If she went back, then this future wouldn't happen. Hope wouldn't be killed by Zane.

Don't give up yet, Riku begged internally. Ultimately, this was her job, her mission. The rest of them were just there to put her on the right track and help her get there. He kept his eyes on Lightning even if she didn't move, but then he heard a laugh, one that instantly made him angry.

Warp appeared a few feet away from Hope's body, on the opposite side of Light and Riku and the rest of the Keybladers. "Funny how one can lose 'hope' so easily, isn't it?" he mocked proudly. "I guess it was just his time." Of course, Warp had been the judge of that. He was the master of time, after all.

Lightning grunted, lifting her head and looking at Warp in front of her, Riku, and the Keybladers gathered behind them. She felt her grief start to change, slowly at first, but increasing in a few seconds. "You..." she said, her sorrow turning to rage.

Warp only smirked at the look on Lightning's face, not at all intimidated. How could he be, when he wasn't really there in the first place? "Yes, it was me," he said, lifting a gloved hand to his chest. "I was the one that ordered my soldier to kill your precious Hope."

Light's moist eyes narrowed, her arms tightening around Hope as she stared at Warp. Of course he was the one who ordered Hope to be killed; she had expected no less. "You monster," she said lowly, voice hoarser than usual because of her crying. "He was innocent!"

"Innocent? I hardly agree," Warp said, rolling his eyes. "He wasn't completely innocent. If I recall correctly, he teamed up with that brother of yours for the past couple years." He smirked a little. "He hated me for taking you away too. And, of course, one of the easiest ways of casting revenge on you was ending the life of someone that not only cared for you, but you found precious as well."

  • Author
Light suddenly felt her blood boil at Warp's cruelness, the girl lowering Hope's body to the ground without thinking about it. "Now it's my turn for revenge!" she cried, rising to her feet quickly. She stepped over Hope and pulled out her sword as she ran at Warp, swinging it at him when she was right in front of him.

Warp didn't move, and when Light swung her sword at him, he felt no pain. How could he? He was just a projection. And by now, Light should have known that.

  • Author
Light finished the swing, and Warp didn't budge. He didn't cry out in pain, and he didn't even act like he was hurt. And then she understood. "You coward," she said lowly. "You have the nerve to kill Hope, but you don't have the nerve to face me afterwords?!" She felt furious now, that anger covering her grief.

"Sorry, but I'm busy with things more important than dealing with your fury," Warp replied with an evil smile. "I can only communicate with you via a databased projection."

Riku was up on his feet by this point, and he furrowed his eyebrows in anger. "What things?" he demanded lowly. What was more important to him than them?

Warp's dark eyes left Lightning and found Riku, and he lifted an eyebrow. "Wouldn't you like to know?" he replied sarcastically. Like he was going to spill.

Light took a small step back, her grasp on the sword so tight that her knuckles were white. She had nothing left to say as she glared at Warp's projection. She was going to hunt him down and kill him herself. He'd pay for all he did.
Aqua witnessed Warp glance at all of them before saluting, and then the projection faded away, his laughter echoing around them. She felt chills run up her spine at the sound, and just how serious of an enemy they were dealing with. They had to take him down. Soon.

Light glared where Warp had been standing even after he vanished, her eyes fierce. He killed Hope. He took her away from her friends for five years and tried to kill Riku's parents as well. He ruined everything. He was about to find out that she was going to take back her life and ruin him.
It was completely silent around them, and Roxas wasn't sure that it was safe to even move. The tension in the air was so thick that it felt suffocating. But he knew that was because of the fury and grief in all of them coming out.

"...What now, Riku?" Sora finally asked, looking to his best friend. He was the one who knew the most about this whole situation, so he was naturally the leader. What was their game-plan?
"We go after Warp," Riku said, looking over his shoulder at his best friend and the others. "Only one of his lackeys survived, so now he doesn't have as much firepower." He turned around completely, his eyebrows deeply furrowed. "We ambush him, today."
  • Author
Ventus furrowed his eyebrows, seeing a problem with Riku's logic. "He can bring back his cohorts at any time," he said. Warp could bring them back to life at any time. In fact, he probably already did that. That was why he hadn't come in person.
"Then I suggest we get going," Riku said, turning his eyes to look at Ven. They couldn't waste time. That was what Warp was all about. The more time he had, the more powerful he became.
  • Author
Terra saw Ven nod slightly, and he nodded as well. "Let's head out," he said, starting to walk away as his helmet reappeared over his head. They'd walk away from the buildings and then get on their gliders. He didn't know where Lightning parked her ship, though.
Riku saw Aqua and Roxas follow, but he turned around to look at the girl he loved. "Light?" he called softly. She hadn't said a word since Warp disappeared. Would she stay here, with Hope? Or would she help them take down Warp?
  • Author
Light turned around and saw everyone but Riku walk away, and when she looked over at him, she didn't hold his gaze. She looked back down at Hope and started over to him, something within her telling her to do that.
Riku didn't say a word, letting Lightning do what she needed to. He wasn't sure what that was, but he would stay with her until she was ready to go.
