Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Lightning knelt down by Hope's lifeless body, the girl lifting a hand to his forehead as she brushed his bangs out of his face. He was still gone to her, and he would be until she went into the past and officially set things right. She saw a green light appear out of the corner of her eye and she blinked, looking to Hope's chest to see his Cyrstarium appear.
Riku felt his curiosity express itself through his facial features at the sight of the light. What was it? By the look on Light's face, she was surprised by it as well.

Light glanced from the crystal to Hope's face, seeing that nothing changed. But...he was entrusting his power to her. Even after death. She hummed softly and moved her left hand to the crystal, her other hand in his hair lightly. She gently brought the crystal close to her heart and absorbed it when her eyes shut, her body glowing green briefly before it went back to normal.
Riku watched what happened in silence, and he stayed that way: silent. He wasn't sure what just happened, but he wouldn't question it. It was obviously important to Lightning, and that was all that mattered. "Let's go," he encouraged softly. They needed to get to Warp.

Light nodded ever so slightly, but she did bend down to give Hope a kiss on the forehead before she withdrew. I'll bring you back, she silently promised. She rose to her feet and walked around him, starting out. It'd be a long walk to her ship, though. That would give her time to think.
Riku glanced at Hope one more time before he started walking as well, a small step ahead of Light since she had been on the other side of the boy. It was time to hunt down Warp and end this, once and for all.

Later

The others arrived at the barrier ahead of Lightning and Riku, since they left before them to see if they could break through. They had no luck, but Lightning had been silent with Riku the whole time as she thought through everything. She had Hope's abilities now, and now she could be a Synergist. She could perform incredibly strong elemental attacks...could that be the key to breaking through the barrier?

"No luck?" Riku asked, coming to a stop on his glider next to Sora. They were all just hovering in front of Warp's world, which he could sense a lot of Darkness from.

"I'm afraid not," Aqua replied, next to Ven on her glider. "Physical attacks won't break through the barrier, and I've tried all of the magic I can. There's still no getting through it." It was unfortunate, really. They had to get in there.

Lightning looked to the barrier, stopping a few feet away from Riku and the other Keybladers. Physical attacks and magic wouldn't work...separately. What if they were paired together in one attack, with one mighty weapon?
Riku looked down the line of his comrades. "Anyone have any ideas?" he asked. They had to get through this barrier and reach Warp. It was the only way to truly end this thing. But first they had to figure out how.

"I've got one," Lightning finally said, turning in her ship so she was sitting facing the open side of the ship. She extended an arm and summoned Odin's mighty weapon into her grasp, planning on casting a spell to make it more powerful.
Roxas leaned forward in his glider a little to see Lightning, arching an eyebrow behind his mask at the sight of the weapon. What was she going to do? They already said physical attacks wouldn't work; the size of the weapon wouldn't make a difference.

Light grasped the weapon with both hands, casting EnFire on it. Flames suddenly surrounded it, though she wasn't burnt by it. Surely her friends understood now; she was going to combine magic and strength to destroy the barrier.
Aqua finally understood, and she remained where she was as she looked from Lightning to the barrier. "A combination of physical strength and magic," she said to herself, though the others could surely hear her. Was that the secret?

Light nodded ever so slightly, eyebrows furrowed in seriousness. Yes, that was it. She leaned back into the ship, one hand on the wheel as she started flying. She picked up some momentum and then flew right by the barrier, a battle-cry leaving her lips as she swung the weapon with one hand and it pierced the barrier. She kept flying, the sword tearing through the shield that protected Warp's world.
Riku heard the loud sound of the sword hitting the barrier, striking through it, the sound making him wince slightly. But that wasn't what made his heart leap. "Lightning!" he roared, spotting the explosion. The barrier around Warp's world was in destruction, and Lightning was too close!

Light thought she heard a holler, and she looked behind her to see the series of explosions following her. She grunted and pulled out her sword and summoned it away as she focused on steering the ship again, but she was too late. An explosion impacted the side of the ship, making her cry out in pain when she was thrown out of the cockpit.
Riku heard various cries within his headset at the impact against Light's ship, and he saw her get knocked out of it. He instantly reached a hand toward her out of instinct, but he knew that wasn't enough. Riku grasped the handles of his glider and lurched forward, diving down into space so he could help her. He raced to Lightning's location, continuing to head farther down in space. He leaned forward when he was finally close enough and grabbed onto her wrist. "Hold on!"

Light looked up at Riku despite how she couldn't see past his mask, and she grasped Riku's wrist as he held onto hers. She wouldn't let go, even if she was in a great deal of pain because of the explosion. She grunted and lowered her head, squeezing her eyes shut in pain as the remainder of the barrier vanished.
Riku grunted, his glider lurching forward without his control because of the remainder of the explosions. He only tightened his hold on Lightning's hand, clamping his teeth together as he pulled with his strength to get her onto his aircraft.

Light felt Riku pull her up, but instead of swinging her up so she'd sit behind him, she found herself in his lap. She wrapped an arm around his shoulders to keep herself close to him, eyes squeezed shut in pain. Ouch...
Riku looked at Lightning as he set his hand back on his handles of the glider, glad to see that she was safe...for the most part. He turned his glider around and lifted it, ascending to where his friends were waiting. Once he was there, he hovered beside one of them, looking to Warp's world. The barrier was down.

Lightning leaned her side against Riku's chest, her head also finding his shoulder as she brought up her other arm and wrapped it around him. She winced at the dizziness she felt, wanting to pass out from the pain from the explosion that sent her flying.
Riku looked over at the girl in his lap, seeing her expression a little from the angle she was in. "Guys," he said, lifting his gaze to his friends. "The barrier may be down, but I think Warp will have to wait." Lightning was hurt, and they needed her for the battle. Going in like this would cost them their lives.

Terra glanced from Lightning to the world they could now access. "...You're right," he said after a few moments. They couldn't go into this fight without Lightning, even if turning away now did give Warp time to flee to another safe haven. They needed Lightning to recover before anything else.
