A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things ) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

 

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way.

 

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

 

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

 

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

 

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh?

Riku saw Roxas and Aqua nod, the latter humming in understanding. He knew that their plan had come up short for now, but it was necessary. Light's well being mattered more to Riku than Warp's death. He turned his ship away from the world and took off, heading back to his home, where he could take care of the girl he loved properly.

Light kept her head on Riku's shoulder the ride home, her eyes shut the whole time. Eventually, the pain was something she could tune out, but the urge to pass out was not. Regardless, she managed to stay conscious even when they arrived in Riku's home world, though everyone probably assumed she was unconscious.

Riku landed first in the Land of Departure, just in front of the stairs that led up to the entrance to the castle. He knew the others were right behind him, but he lowered his glider until it was resting on the ground, that way he didn't have to worry about falling off. He put his arms around Light's back and under her knees, lifting her up as he stepped off of his ride. Once he stepped away from the glider, it disappeared, as well as his armor.

Lightning heard other gliders land and their riders summon them away, though she didn't show any response to any of that. She let Riku pick her up as she loosely kept her arms around his neck when she felt his armor fade away, her eyes staying shut in weakness and pain.

Riku heard light footsteps behind him as he started up the stairs, knowing that a few of his friends were already following him. But first he wanted to get Light to his room and in his bed, that way she could rest. He was curious as to how bad her injuries were, but he didn't ask aloud. Riku didn't want Lightning to worry about it.

A little while later, two girls were summoned to the castle in the Land of Departure to take care of a wounded friend. This was one friend, though, that neither of them ever expected to treat. Lightning was back, and the girl and her Somebody were quickly filled in on the situation before they healed their friend of her wounds. Namine and Kairi then went to a group meeting with everyone else to try and predict Warp's next move, all the people in that meeting except for Riku and Lightning.

Kairi stood next to the young man she loved, in the wide room that held three thrones. All of them stood in a circle, except for Riku and Lightning for obvious reasons. Kairi was glad to see that Lightning was alive, but not in this state; they met again under awful circumstances.

 

Roxas had his arm wrapped around his wife's lower back, his eyes on her for the moment. He'd missed her while he was away, having not seen her for at least three or four weeks while he and Sora were off protecting the Princesses. As always, she looked great and was a sight for sore eyes.

Sora hand a hand to his chin, and he didn't hold Kairi's hand when she was beside him. He hadn't seen her in a while, and he did hug her earlier, but if he did that now, it would make it hard to focus. It was distracting enough to have her in his presence again after not seeing her for a few weeks. He gazed down at the ground, trying to think of what to do with Warp. He would have to contribute more for Riku's sake, since he wasn't with them right now.

 

Namine couldn't help but look up at her husband with a soft smile, the young woman lightly leaning into him and lifting a hand to set on his stomach. She had missed him while he was away, but she knew he was only doing his duty to keep her and the Princesses safe. How could she be against such a noble cause?

Kairi briefly glanced over at her two best friends near her, witnessing Roxas give Namine a loving kiss against her blonde hair. She remembered when her friend dyed it back, and she was happy she did; Namine was really herself when she was blonde, natural. Kairi's looks hadn't change as much as the color of her hair. It was still dark red, but the length was much longer than it had been the last time she saw Lightning; now it was to the middle of her back, and she had longer side-bangs than before. She also didn't wear such fancy clothes as before, since she nearly lost everything when the Islands were attacked and they were forced to evacuate. Now she just wore a white tank-top that stopped right above her belly button, and a burgundy skirt.

Namine smiled softly up at her husband, the fingers of her free hand brushing against the white dress that she wore. It was a halter dress with a circle in the front where the strings connected. The dress went down to her mid-thigh where it had black ruffles and she had tights on underneath that. She also wore a white and black band on her arm, right over her bicep. Her hair was just a tad shorter than it had been before, and styled to reflect the more mature, wiser person she was.

Kairi let her blue eyes focus on Terra, Aqua, and Ventus, not wanting to look at Sora. It felt to her like something was off with him, but she wasn't going to say anything; now wasn't the time. "Have you guys figured out anything?" she asked them, her voice still light and gentle like it had been a few years ago. She was capable of fighting, though not nearly as well as any of them, but she would do what she could to help.

"It all depends on Warp's next move," Terra finally said after Aqua and Ven were silent. "He's probably already fled his world, but it's impossible to know if he has another safe haven he could run to." It was unlikely he had one since he had only been around six months, but he wasn't about to underestimate Warp.

"Things seem to be under control here, so it makes me wonder if we should go ahead and begin searching for him," Aqua said, looking up at Terra since he was the one who spoke. "Of course, that's if he still isn't in the same world." He had to have known the barrier was down by now, which meant there was a huge possibility he fled. That would only make things more difficult.

Terra shook his head slightly, glancing over at Aqua. "I'm afraid that now that he can't hide, he'll go on the offensive," he said. "If we leave here, then it's likely he'll ambush whoever remains here." Surely he revived his lackeys by now, too.

Roxas was focused on the conversation now, though his arm remained around Namine. "And that would most likely be Riku and Lightning," he concluded with a small nod. The soldier was still recovering, and Riku wasn't going to leave her side. If they left, Warp could ambush them, and Riku couldn't handle them all on his own.

Ven caught Terra nod out of the corner of his eye, and he took the opportunity to speak next. "I bet his crew is already revived by now too," he said. "I was thinking about it, and that's probably why he didn't show up in Cocoon earlier." He had been busy resurrecting his group of minions.

"The ones that have been giving you all so much trouble?" Kairi asked, making sure she had the story correct. When she saw Aqua nod, she bit her lip. That wasn't good. If they came back, the battle would be even harder than before.

"We can't split up if there's a chance Warp will go on the offensive and ambush Riku and Lightning," Sora finally said, looking up at the group as he lowered his hand from his chin. "We can only hope that if he triggers something in one of the worlds, somebody will get a hold of us." The Keybladers told their friends in various worlds how to contact them if something went wrong, so if Warp attacked, the Keybladers would find out from one of their allies. That was what he believed, anyway.

Aqua pushed some of her bangs out of her eyes, nodding slightly. "That appears to be our only choice," she agreed softly. They couldn't leave unless they were called, or unless the battle came to them. It was Warp's lead now; they had to follow.

"We have some free time until Warp changes things or Lightning recovers completely," Terra declared. "Everyone rest up and be ready for battle." He noticed Ventus, Sora, and Namine nod slightly, and the man set a hand on his wife's shoulder before he turned and started walking away. The meeting was over, so there was no point standing around.

Aqua looked to her friends and smiled weakly before turning around to follow her husband's lead. Since they had a small break, she wouldn't mind spending some time with him. At least while she had the opportunity.

 

Roxas watched the two oldest go before he looked to his friends left standing with him. "So, what now?" he asked, his eyes darting to each one of them. He wasn't sure what to do. It'd been a long time since he had downtime.

"I'm going to go check with Riku to see how many potions and ethers he has in stock," Sora said, having already thought about it. They needed to be prepared for battle, like Terra said. "If he doesn't have any, I'll go buy some somewhere." He'd go alone, but he'd be fine. If he ran into trouble, he could contact somebody here for backup.

Kairi turned her head to look at her boyfriend, nodding slightly. She wouldn't tag along; she could handle a few more minutes by herself. She'd heard of how Jasmine had gotten hurt before, so she would see if the poor dog was alright. She always had loved that labrador.

"I'll catch up with you guys later," Sora said, bending down and giving Kairi a brief kiss on the head before he started towards Riku's bedroom, where he was with Lightning.

Roxas waved with his free hand slightly, seeing Sora walk off. He caught Kairi's lingering gaze on his friend, but he didn't say anything. He knew what she was a little upset about, but it was something that never got brought up.

 

Riku sat forward in a chair next to his bed, where Lightning was resting. He had his hands linked together at his lips, his elbows on his knees as he gazed at her. He hoped she would be alright; he nearly lost her back there, whether through the explosion or through falling in space. But Riku was grateful for Namine and Kairi, who both created powerful Cure spells when they combined their powers. That really helped Lightning out.
