Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Riku put his hand on the doorframe, turning around a little to look back at the young woman who had his heart. "'Course," he said with a small smile. His eyes lingered on her before he finally stepped out of the room, traveling down the hall to get some answers.

Namine and Roxas were currently sitting outside on the steps, the blonde able to see Sora working on one of Riku's ships further down in an open area. He thought it was a good idea for Lightning to be able to get around on her own, and since her old ship was destroyed, she needed another one. But Namine wasn't focused on Sora or Lightning. As selfish as it was, she was thinking about herself, and some news she had to give to Roxas.
Roxas sat on the steps beside the young woman he loved and was bound to forever, not that it was a problem. It never would be. He had one leg out farther than the other, an elbow on one of his knees as he admired the view. The place was in ruins, but it was still pretty nice.

Namine wrapped her arms lightly over her stomach, figuring that as soon as she started telling Roxas the news, they'd get interrupted. It was just a feeling she had. She bit down on her lip and looked out at the area in front of them, in the back of her mind wondering where Kairi was.
Roxas let his gaze rest on Sora after a minute, watching him work on the ship. And just beyond his spot, he saw Kairi walking back from the summit. He was sure that had an even better view of the land around them, but Roxas was fine right here, next to Namine. He always would be, no matter what.

Sora furrowed his eyebrows slightly when he heard a person coming in alone from the direction of the summit, and he knew it was Kairi. Aqua and Terra were with Ven, Roxas and Namine were on the stairs, and Riku was with Lightning. "You shouldn't wander off by yourself," Sora said to Kairi without looking away from the ship, focused on his work.
Kairi turned her head, some wind blowing her long red hair in her face. She tucked it behind her ear as she started passing Sora, looking at him even if he wasn't looking at her. "Sorry," she apologized softly. She knew how protective he was of her; sometimes she just forgot and wandered off.

Sora nodded slightly, working on the computer of the ship. He got zapped by a spark and yanked his hand out, shaking it to get rid of the feeling of being electrocuted. He was hardly focused on that, though, thinking about Kairi. The only reason he didn't go after her was because he knew she could protect herself for a little while, and call to him if she needed anything. He gave her freedom, but not too much. Especially not when enemies like Warp were out there.
Kairi focused forward again, her hands linked behind her back as she walked. She caught Roxas's eye as she approached the stairs, and she nodded to him, and Namine as well, with a weak smile. She received a small wave from Roxas before she passed them, heading up the stairs to go inside.

Namine smiled faintly to her Somebody, and she watched her until she heard the door close. She waited a few moments before she spoke to Roxas, her voice soft. "He's awfully hard on her," she stated softly, obviously referring to Sora and Kairi.
"I know," Roxas said, his small smile fading away at the fact. "But, it's just because he cares a lot. He doesn't want her to get hurt." Even if it was just taking a stroll, Sora was very protective of Kairi. That was the reason why he didn't propose; Sora told him he wanted to focus on protecting Kairi and the other Princesses.

He's hurting her more by treating her this way, Namine silently thought to herself. Kairi didn't need fierce protection most of the time; she needed to feel Sora's love and care for her in more tender ways.
Roxas turned his head to look at Namine when he only heard silence. "...You okay, babe?" he asked softly, his eyebrows furrowing a little at her expression. She looked worried about something, but what was it?

Namine couldn't help but smile weakly when Roxas read her like a book, something she should have been used to by now. "I'm fine," she assured him softly, looking over at him. "I'm just hoping things calm down soon so Sora and Kairi can have some peace." And she had to tell him the big news. How was she going to phrase it?
"Mm," Roxas hummed softly with a nod, focusing ahead of him again. He agreed with that. He could tell how stressed Sora was about their relationship when they were away to fight off Heartless and protect the Princesses. It was about time something went right for those two.

Namine kept her gaze on Roxas even when he looked away. He deserved to know. She would tell him now, because in these times, this was the most peace they'd get. "Roxas?" she asked softly.
"Hm?" Roxas hummed quietly, his bright blue eyes finding the young woman he loved again. Judging by her expression, she looked like she had to tell him something, and she appeared a little...nervous?

"I found out something while you were away last month," Namine said softly, glancing past Roxas as she tried to ease him into the news. But why was she suddenly feeling like they'd be interrupted again?
Roxas arched an eyebrow, becoming interested. "Really?" he asked. "What's that?" He was curious, and he had a feeling this was what Namine appeared so anxious about. But he sensed movement out of the corner of his eye and turned his head, seeing Riku coming down the stairs. Was Light awake? Riku never left her side while she was unconscious, so that had to be it.

Namine followed Roxas's gaze to Riku, and she smiled weakly before she turned her head and shut her eyes. Of course. She expected to be interrupted, and that was what happened. "It'll wait," she murmured to Roxas.

Roxas looked back at Namine and furrowed his eyebrows at the words. Wait a second, he wanted to say, but he didn't have the chance. Riku spoke to him then.

Riku had his hands balled into light fists, descending the stairs until he was a few behind Namine and Roxas. "Hey," he greeted lightly. "What's on the agenda?" Light wanted to know, and actually, so did he. He never liked to be out of the loop.

"Oh, uh..." Roxas scratched the side of his head, glancing away from Riku briefly. "Well, we pretty much just decided that we'd take the next day or so to relax." That was pretty much it.

Namine opened her eyes and looked back up at Riku, nodding slightly in agreement to Roxas. That was what they decided: to be well rested for battle. That was all they could do until Lightning was well and they could all search for Warp.

Riku nodded slightly, but Roxas took the opportunity to speak again. "Once Light feels up to it, we'll head back out and look for Warp," he finished. "Until then, I guess we're letting him off the hook."

"At least for now," Riku added, and when Roxas nodded, so did he. "Got it. Thanks." He then looked up, seeing Sora working on a ship. Well, he wouldn't bother him. Riku turned around, waving a little to his friends as he started up the stairs.

Namine waved weakly to Riku, watching him ascend the stairs. But as he walked away, she started feeling ill. It had nothing to do with him; it had everything to do with the secret she had yet to reveal to Roxas. It was the sickness that sometimes haunted her as a consequence to the secret she was keeping.
Roxas watched Riku go before he focused back on Namine. "So...where were we?" he asked with a crooked smile. That interruption was accidental, and he was sure Riku didn't mean it, but Roxas was curious as to what Namine had to say.
