Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Namine folded her arm back over her stomach, smiling weakly at Roxas before she looked down at the stairs. "Um, like I said, it'll wait," she said softly, feeling herself pale when she felt nauseous.
Roxas furrowed his eyebrows, his smile fading away. "Namine," he said softly. What was going on? She could tell him; Riku was gone. Plus, she didn't look so good. It worried him.

"It's...nothing," Namine said softly, wrapping her arms around her stomach a little more tightly. Why was this happening now?! It must have been the nerves. That was it.
Roxas frowned a little bit at that, not understanding. Why couldn't Namine tell him? He was her husband, for better or for worse, in sickness and in health. She could be open with him and he wouldn't judge her any differently.

"I'll...um, be right back," Namine murmured, setting a hand on the step beside her and pushing herself up. She was going to be sick, but she could make it to the bathroom. It wouldn't be good for Roxas to see her like this.
Roxas nodded a little, watching Namine get up. That was fine, though he was curious as to what was going on. Sometimes it was hard to read Namine, but now he could clearly see that she was worried about something. But what?

Namine started walking up the stairs, pushing the doors of the castle open. She believed she knew where the bathroom was, so she turned in that direction. She was thankful when she saw it there, and she went in and shut the door behind her before she knelt down in front of the toilet. Ugh.
Roxas faced forward and rested his elbow on his knee. He lifted a hand and rubbed it over his spiky hair, watching Sora work in the silence now. He didn't know what to think of what was going on with Namine, but he hoped she would open up soon.

Sora kept working on the ship, not affected by the conversation he was ignoring. Roxas and Namine deserved some privacy after not seeing each other for a month, though he didn't know why Namine left.
Roxas kept his hand in his hair, leaning against it as he stared at Sora's work on the ship. He was getting some stuff done, but Roxas couldn't really focus on that. Not right now.

Namine finished up with her business in the bathroom, and after that, she felt fatigued. Telling Roxas now was out of the question; he couldn't see her when she was so fatigued. She exited the room and started walking, knowing where the extra bedrooms were. She'd lie down for a while.
But where did Namine go? That was what Roxas wanted to know. It'd been a good few minutes; shouldn't she have been back by now?

Namine passed by one room, stopping short before she passed it completely. Kairi was in there, alone. And she could tell she was upset. Namine forget about her sickness, knowing what this was about. Sora. "Kairi, come on," Namine said, waving for her friend to come with her without revealing her intentions for making the call. They were going to go talk to Sora.
Kairi looked up from her spot, her glazed eyes focusing on Namine and becoming confused. She furrowed her eyebrows slightly in that same emotion, though she did push herself up from the bed and start toward the door. She wasn't sure what Namine was doing, but she would go with, just because she was curious.

Namine started back the direction she came from, hands in loose fists by her sides. She had it. It wasn't fair for Kairi to be treated so coldly when Sora said that he loved her. Namine was sick of the mixed signals her best friend was getting, and she was going to solve this once and for all.
Kairi left the room and followed Namine, though she took a few quick steps to catch up. "Namine? Where are we going?" she asked out of curiosity. Namine surely could tell her that, right?

"Outside," Namine said, glancing over at Kairi before she looked forward again. They were going outside, because that was where Sora was. And Roxas, too, but she wasn't going to dwell on that. It was time to fix things with Sora and Kairi.
Kairi bit her lip a little, hearing Namine's tone. She sounded...angry, but why? Why were they going outside? Whatever it was, Kairi was about to find out, though she wasn't sure she wanted to.

Namine opened the door and then stepped out, seeing Kairi right by her. She started down the stairs without looking over at Roxas, seeing Sora up ahead working on the ship. It was time to talk to him.
Kairi passed Roxas as well, who looked up at them upon their descent. He gave her a look once he caught her eyes that obviously voiced his question for him: what was going on? Kairi shrugged a little and continued to follow Namine, not knowing herself. But when she looked forward, she nearly stopped walking. Sora. That was what this was about, wasn't it?

"Sora," Namine called once she reached the bottom of the steps, though she kept walking towards him. She saw the brunet peak his head out of the ship and glance back to see Kairi, but he immediately looked back at her, with question in his eyes. He would find out soon enough what was up. "Stop working on the stupid ship. There are more important things to do right now."

Kairi glanced from Namine to Sora and then back again at her tone. What was she going to say? Please don't be harsh, she begged her best friend internally. She didn't want trouble.

Roxas blinked at Namine's words, which definitely held bite. What happened while she was inside? Actually, what happened in general? She wasn't being herself.

"You've been avoiding Kairi all day, and when you've seen her, you haven't treated her special," Namine said, furrowing her eyebrows as she looked at a stunned Sora. "It's not fair to her that you keep sending her mixed signals. Do you love her at all, Sora?"

Sora blinked in surprise to the question, pushing himself out of the ship and standing beside it. "Of course I do," he said without hesitation. What kind of a question was that?

"Then start acting like it," Namine said with bite, getting a startled expression from Sora. But she meant what she said; Sora wasn't acting like he loved Kairi, other than how fiercely devoted he was to protecting her.

Kairi blinked at the words thrown at the young man she loved, and she stared at Namine with wide eyes. "Namine..." she tried. Maybe she just needed to calm down. Hopefully she would; she was causing drama that Kairi didn't want, especially with Sora.

"...I do act like it," Sora finally said, standing up for himself to Namine even if he was a bit shell-shocked. "Everything I do is for her." That wasn't a lie, not in his eyes. He devoted his life to keeping her safe.

"It's what you don't do that's bad, Sora," Namine said, shaking her head slightly and lifting a hand to tell Kairi not to interfere. She was doing this for her. "You don't treat her like you used to. Where's the affection? The adoration?"
