Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Kairi looked to Sora in a shocked but sad silence, not knowing what to say. What could she say? Namine may have been right, but so was Sora. She was just completely lost in this mess.

Roxas pushed himself up from the steps then, starting down them and to Namine. What was she doing?

Sora blinked in shock, though that surprise never left him. Where was this coming from, and why was Namine coming to him about this? "I-I'm doing the best I can..."

"Not good enough," Namine said bluntly, staring at Sora. Again, she saw the surprise grow in size, but she was apathetic to it. She was angry and upset for the sake of her friend, and it was coming through now.

Sora stared at Namine in shock, this time not knowing what to say. He knew that, he just...He couldn't do any better. Like he said, he was doing the best he could. But the truth was, his affection for Kairi grew every day, and every time he was with her, it was harder to focus on protecting her. All he wanted to do was hold her and love her, but he couldn't while danger was still out there. She'd die if he slipped up.

Roxas hurried by Kairi, glancing at her and seeing that she was only staring at the ground, and looked sad. But he hurried to Namine, stepping in between her and Sora and facing her. "Namine," he said, his eyebrows furrowed. "What're you doing?"

Namine was the one who now blinked in surprise when Roxas stepped in front of her, blocking her view of Sora. She saw the look in his eyes and snapped out of her fury, suddenly realizing what just happen. "Oh gosh," she murmured, diverting her gaze away from Roxas as she lifted a hand to her forehead. Did she seriously just...? "I didn't mean that," she said, trying to take away the tension in the air. She overreacted.
Roxas's eyebrows pulled together even more at that, the boy confused. Was she alright? Namine really wasn't acting like herself, and it worried him more than it had earlier. "Nam...?" What was going on?
  • Author
Namine wouldn't look up at Roxas, very embarrassed. She glanced over at Kairi, her expression no longer angry but apologetic. "Sorry, Kairi," she said weakly. "Sorry Sora." She had been totally out of line.
Kairi looked up from the ground and weakly nodded. She wasn't sure what was going on with Namine, but she could tell by her reaction now that this wasn't intentional; she didn't know what came over her.

Namine felt the awkward tension in the air, and she knew it was all because of her. "I'll just, um..." She stepped past Roxas and started past Sora as well, heading towards the summit. She'd just walk away now.
Roxas turned his head, his eyes trailing Namine's movements. Wait a minute, he wanted to say, but he couldn't find his voice. What was up with her these days? The last time he saw her, she was perfectly fine. She was great, but now she seemed...different.

Sora lifted a hand and ruffled his hair, turning slightly to watch Namine walk away. He didn't protest, because he was still shocked by whatever just happened. Namine normally wasn't bold like that, and she normally didn't meddle with other people's business. What was up with her?
Kairi's eyes left Namine as she walked away, instead going to Roxas. He looked just as confused as her and Sora, but he didn't say anything. Instead, he started after her, leaving Kairi alone with Sora. And after what Namine just said, that was the last thing she wanted.
  • Author
Namine thought she head somebody coming after her, and she knew one thing for sure: It wasn't Sora. She would have to seriously apologize later, and beg for forgiveness. What she said was awful, and her eyes got moist at the thought of it.

Kairi glanced at Sora, but then she immediately looked away. And on that note... She turned, starting back toward the castle, letting her long red hair act as a curtain and shield her face. She didn't know what that was, but it made things more difficult. That was the last thing anyone needed on top of Warp's schemes.

"Namine, wait a second," Roxas called, picking up his pace to a light jog as he went after her. He reached her in only a few seconds and lifted his hand to her arm, grasping it lightly to encourage her to stop and talk. He needed her to talk to him.

Sora blinked when Kairi walked away, and by her posture, he knew she didn't want to talk. And neither did he, which was why neither of them ever brought up this topic. The hand he subconsciously reached for her slowly lowered, the teen watching in silence as the one he loved walked away.

Namine had to stop when Roxas grasped her arm, and though he spoke to her, she didn't respond or look at him. She felt so dumb, and her emotions were already greater than normal because of her secret. She wanted to cry she felt so awful.

Roxas was happy Namine stopped, and he stepped to the side of her, his eyes on her. "...What's going on?" he asked softly. Was she okay? Did he do something wrong? If there was anything, he wanted to know about it.

"Sorry," Namine said softly without responding to the question, her gaze on the ground. "I was upset for Kairi, and I just...snapped." She had seen her friend depressed for a while now, and she didn't like it. But there was more to her encounter with Sora than that.
"But...you were acting weird before that," Roxas pointed out, his grasp on Namine's upper arm loosening to become more gentle, his eyes turning the same. "Tell me what's going on with you... You know you don't have to hide anything from me." They made that promise when they got married. She could trust him. Always.

Namine shook her head softly, turning to face Roxas completely as she lifted a hand to grasp his shirt. She pressed her forehead against his chest lightly, hoping to hide the moisture that appeared in her eyes. "I just...don't know how to say it," she said softly.
Roxas looked down at Namine, his hand traveling up her arm to her shoulder. "Is it that bad?" he asked softly, scared of the truth. Was it so bad that she couldn't tell him?
  • Author
Namine laughed weakly, wrapping her other arm around Roxas's lower back. "No," she said softly. "It's not bad at all. It's great..." It was great, wonderful news. It was terrific even if it did affect her moods and make her feel sick.
Roxas felt confused again, his expression reflecting that. "...I don't get what you mean," he admitted softly, his hand resting on Namine's bare shoulder. What was she getting at? She couldn't tell him, but it was great? That didn't make sense.
  • Author
Namine smiled, her closed eyes growing more moist. "I'm pregnant, honey," she finally said, lifting her head and looking up at him. That was what was so great that she didn't know how to phrase it. But she just said it, bluntly, even if her voice was gentle.
Roxas blinked at the words, shaking his head a little to try and absorb them. "Wait, what?" he asked. She was... Namine was...? Really?
  • Author
Namine loosened her grip on Roxas's shirt, though her soft blue eyes stayed on her husband. She should have expected such a reaction. "You're going to be a daddy, Roxas," she said, smiling more widely. And I'm going to be a mother.
Roxas laughed once in disbelief, but a good kind, his eyes widening. However, they were bright with enthusiasm. I'm gonna be a... We're gonna... "We're gonna have a baby?" he said, lifting his other hand to Namine's opposite shoulder, his eyes focusing on hers. She wasn't just playing with him, was she? No...she couldn't have been...
