Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

The next morning   Riku lingered in the living room as Lightning's guests talked on the sofas. It was the day after Sora and Kairi's wedding, and now that the event was over, everyone was heading ba

The words sent memories running through Riku's brain, flashing before his eyes. He remembered saying that to Lightning when she was over at his house, and stayed there for some time. "Good," he responded. "That feeling's mutual." Of course. How couldn't it be?

Light hummed, nodding faintly with a smile still on her lips. "Good." That was all she could think to say, and all that needed to be said. She was glad Riku returned her feelings, especially after five years of being apart. She couldn't imagine what this was like for him, being with her again after so long.
Riku lowered his hand from the side of Light's head, instead setting it on the bed. However, he kept his eyes on her. If it was possible, he was going to miss her when she left. And he was sure his younger self missed her back then, when she disappeared.

Lightning closed her eyes after a few moments, head lowering on Riku's shoulder. She was enjoying this conversation, but she was tired. It was probably time for her to get some rest.
Riku leaned his head back against the headboard again, but he kept his gaze on the person against his side. Whenever she went to sleep, he would get started on that letter. He had to tell himself to never let this girl go.

Light fell asleep within a few minutes of falling silent, her breathing even and posture relaxed as she leaned into Riku. She was comfortable here, in his hold. It felt like home.

Later....

Riku flew on his glider toward Warp's world, which was just up ahead. They hadn't seen Warp in nearly two days, but now that Light was back on her feet, it was time to hunt the man down and get rid of him for good. The barrier was down, which meant Warp was either there or he fled. Regardless, Riku flew into the world's atmosphere, trusting his friends to be right behind him.

Sora flew into the world behind Riku and Lightning, the two of them riding on the same glider. But they weren't the only ones sharing a glider; Kairi standing behind Sora on his. Namine was with Roxas, and the brunet was only alright with the girls coming along because he was sure Warp fled his world. It would have been idiotic to stay in a place without a barrier.
Roxas glanced over his shoulder to see his wife, but she couldn't see his face due to his mask. But he also saw Ven, Terra, and Aqua coming in behind them. They were all here to take down Warp, if he was still around. Roxas doubted it, the boy facing forward again as the blue sky of the world surrounded them. This place seeped with Darkness, and he could hear Riku curse under his breath, and most likely because of the foul stench the Darkness produced.
  • Author
Light kept her arms around Riku, though she looked around and ignored his muttered curse. She saw a castle up ahead, and she could sense the Darkness there. That was probably where Warp lived...before. He most likely wasn't in this world anymore, having taken the chance to flee while he could. All because of Light's weakness.

"This place smells, but the worst of it is coming from that castle," Riku said into his headset, steering his glider in that direction. "If our time traveler's here, that's obviously where he's waiting."

"Let's check it out," Roxas said with a small nod, one hand resting on Namine's arms around his torso as they flew over the buildings in this world. He was ready; he'd already said everything he had to back in the Land of Departure to his friends, just in case he didn't make it out of this. His heart ached at the possibility of not surviving, since that meant Namine would have to raise their child all on her own. He wanted to be there, but he knew he wouldn't survive if something happened to her today. He couldn't live his life without her. If she went, then so did he. Roxas already made that promise to himself.

Sora nodded slightly in agreement, holding onto Kairi like Roxas was holding onto Namine. "Be ready for anything," he said. "There's an ominous aura around this place." He believed Warp had fled, but...He didn't know. It didn't help Kairi's presence was distracting him a little, but he'd deal with it. If danger came, he would give his life to protect her. He'd protect her heart this time.
Kairi's grasp around Sora tightened slightly, his words making her feel a little anxious. She didn't have much experience fighting anything more than Heartless, so this did make her a bit nervous. But she had to give her all, or else someone could get hurt.

Sora knew what Kairi was feeling, and he knew what she was nervous about. She hadn't faced any battles, but she was capable of fighting if she had to. "It'll be alright," he silently told her. "I'm sure Warp's already fled. We'll just explore his castle and try to track him down." She wouldn't have to fight more than whatever Heartless showed up.
"Alright," Kairi replied softly, communicating through her heart once more to Sora. She hadn't done it in so long, but it still felt familiar to her. She looked over his shoulder, seeing the castle grow larger as they approached. This was it.

It only took another minute or so for them to arrive at the long narrow path in front of the castle, and Ven landed his glider at the rear. He started walking and summoned his Keyblade into his hand, seeing Terra do the same slightly behind him. He didn't like this...
Aqua donned her armor, her loyal Keyblade in her hand as she walked alongside Terra and Ven. She felt the wind against the back of her neck, not exactly wearing a helmet like the others; she instead had a mask that covered her face, leaving her blue ponytail to whip in the wind whenever it was strong enough. "Careful, everyone," she advised, seeing Riku and Lightning off his glider, as well as Roxas and Namine.

Sora glanced back and Aqua and nodded slightly, the brunet and Kairi off his glider as well. He held only one Keyblade, so his hand closest to Kairi was free. He kept her close by his side as he always did, hand extended slightly so he could grab her and move her if he had to. It was normal by now for him to be prepared to protect Kairi in any way he could, even if she could defend herself.
Riku glanced back at everyone, him and Lightning in the lead. He saw that Kairi had her Keyblade in her grasp, the same one he gave her so long ago. And he also noticed how his friends all appeared to be ready. Good thing too, since the Darkness got stronger the closer they were to the castle. Riku faced forward, tightening his hold on his black and red Keyblade.

Namine stayed close to her husband, her weapon in her hand. It was a staff that could not only be used for magic, but for physical attacks and defense. It was actually forged on Gran Pulse, and the weapon was similar to Lightning's friend Fang's staff in many ways. Only the color was different, Namine's being purple.

"Well, well, well. What do we have here?"

Riku stopped walking, his free hand going out to his side as he stopped Lightning as well. He looked around, recognizing that voice. "Darren," he hissed under his breath. It was him.

"Up here, dude," Darren called. He was on one of the balconies of the castle, but a friend of his was on the other side, the other long-distance shooter, Zane. Of course, he kept himself hidden for now. Couldn't overhwhelm the heroes.

Lightning stopped when Riku forced her to, though she would have done it anyway. She tightly gripped her sword and glared up at him, only seeing him standing there. Where were the others? And..."Where's Warp?!" she hollered up. He was going to die today.

Darren only smiled, thought he kept his grip on his bow, which was hidden by the balcony wall. "That's for me to know and for you to find out, now isn't it?" he replied smartly. He could take a few minutes to tease them, couldn't he?

"Enough with the games!" Roxas hollered, hearing his voice echo around the area. "We don't have time for this!" Warp needed to die, now.

"Actually," Zane intervened, coming out of his hiding spot on the balcony. "You've got plenty of time, as long as the boss has a say in it." He was the master of time, after all, even without the watch.

  • Author
So much for this just being a search of the castle, Namine thought, tightening her grip on her weapon. At least some of Warp's lackeys were here to meet them. But why?

Zane didn't get a reply, but he only looked at the people before him. "Looks like the Black Knight and warrior came out to play," he said with a smirk. "And a few friends, I see. Doesn't matter, since you're all gonna die."

Kairi's eyebrows furrowed at that, the young woman's grasp on her weapon tightening slightly. "How can you be so sure?" she called up. "There are nine of us and two of you. The odds are in our favor!"
