Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Lightning worked in silence for a little while, not restrained by Riku's gentle hold. It took a while, but when she finished her work, she put the cover of the watch on it. It would work now. She sighed and leaned back into Riku a little, eyes shutting in relief. It was done.
Riku looked at Light, his face right next to hers. "Finished?" he asked quietly, his voice no louder than a small murmur in the empty laboratory. It took a while, but he never let go of her, and he still didn't want to. But he knew the answer to his question; the watch was done, which meant he had to let her go.

"Yes," Light responded softly, nodding as well. She was finished with the watch, and she was finished with her business in this time. She had the note Riku wrote up for himself in her pack. She was set to go.
Riku tightened his hold on Lightning at the answer, knowing what this meant. She had to go now, and he would be alone, at least until this future faded away.

"Where are the instructions?" Light asked quietly without opening her eyes. He did find them, didn't he? That was probably the page that the book was open to.
Riku took in a breath and slid his hands along Light's stomach until they rested on her sides. "In the book," he said softly. The page was already open. All they had to do was read the instructions and she was on her way.

Light nodded slightly and opened her eyes, looking across the table. Instead of making Riku release her, she leaned forward and grabbed the book, bringing it close to her. Her eyes narrowed as she read the instructions, the procedure pretty simple.
Riku read the open page over Light's shoulder, his eyes focusing on the words on the page. Getting the watch to work would only take a second, so Light shouldn't have had any problem with it. She would be safe on her way back.

"Okay," Light murmured softly once she finished reading. She set it down on the table, looking at Riku. "It's time for me to go." She would go back now, to set things right.
"Mm," Riku hummed softly, nodding a little as he stepped back. He released Lightning completely, but his eyes stayed on her. She had his letter, something she hadn't read yet; it was for him to read when she got back, still sealed. He had a feeling his younger self would get the point, and not let Light out of his life, like Riku had to kind of do now.

Light pushed herself off the stool, grabbing the watch off the table. She also had Jiminy's journals in her bag, those being the possessions Warp stole five years ago. She put on the watch before she looked up at Riku, her eyes finding his. Was there anything left to say?
Riku smiled weakly at Lightning as he gazed at her for the last time, at least in this time period. "...Be careful on your way back," he said softly. If anything happened to her, then he really would be alone.

Light nodded slightly, her eyes staying on Riku's. "I will," she assured him softly. She wouldn't die in the time continuum after everything she went through. She would make it back to her Riku.
Riku's smile remained, the boy not knowing what else to say. Did he have anything to pass on to his past self, at all? A lot of it was said in that letter, but what if there was something else?

"Anything else you want to say before I go?" Light asked softly, keeping her gaze on Riku. This was the last time she'd see him like this, until five years really passed for her. Until then, she would miss this Riku, who she grew to love. Love...She planned on telling him that before she left.
Riku tilted his head slightly, his smile growing into a small smirk. "When you get back, make sure you tell me not to let you get away," he said. With his next thought, something he didn't put in the letter but had to say, he lifted his hand to Light's cheek, running his fingers over it briefly. "And make sure that you tell me to propose the first chance I get, because I'll never love anyone as much as I love you."
  • Author
Light blinked at what her boyfriend said, both about proposing and never loving anybody as much as he loved her. He literally just said "I love you". And now she would definitely say what she wanted to say. "I love you," she whispered.
Riku's smirk widened into a crooked smile, and he ran his thumb over her cheek. "I know," he said with a small nod. He loved her too, just like he said. He always would.

Light found herself smiling, both at Riku's cocky reaction and his action. She smiled gently and lifted her hand to Riku's, gently grasping his hand as she lowered it from her face. It was time to go, to make him happy.
Riku's crooked smile slowly faded away, Light's action of taking his hand away from her face triggering it. He wanted one more thing before she was gone from this time period for good.

Light held onto Riku's hand down by her side, but then she thought of one more thing she wanted to do. She held onto his hand but lifted the other to his shoulder, leaning up to give him a kiss on the lips.
You must have been reading my mind, Riku thought, his eyes falling shut at the kiss. He lifted his free hand to Light's waist and squeezed the other hand in his, kissing her back. The last one he would have with her at this time.

Light's eyes were shut as she kissed him, and she lifted her hand to his cheek partway through the kiss. As soon as she got back, she would have to give Riku a kiss. But then again, there were many things she had to do when she got back. She was ready, though. She had been in this time for over a week.
Riku pulled Lightning a little closer as the kiss escalated, his eyebrows furrowing as he kissed her with more urgency. He did love her, really. He'd never felt this way for anyone, because nobody could compare. He put that in the letter, and he hoped younger Riku realized how important this girl was to his life.
  • Author
Light fought against a smile when Riku's kiss was more urgent, this kiss the same as the first one he gave her in this time. She gently withdrew after a moment, opening her eyes to look at him. "It's time," she whispered. It was time for her to go and set things right.
