Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Riku opened his eyes, and once he looked at Light, he nodded. "I'll see you soon," he said softly, his voice the same volume as hers; as quiet as a whisper. And he would. It was only a matter of time.

Light nodded softly, taking her hand away from Riku's face and withdrawing her hand from his. She stepped back and then looked down at her watch, the time already set to take her back about a minute after she left. She pushed in the button and a portal appeared behind her, the girl taking a small step towards it before she looked back to Riku. Goodbye.
Riku smiled weakly, lifting one of his hands in a light wave. Once she was gone, the last five years would be erased. He wouldn't remember a thing, but the good moments he would be able to live through Lightning, if she told him about them. He was sure she would. She loved him, after all, and he loved her.

Lightning waved weakly to Riku in return, looking at his face one last time before she turned around. She stepped into the portal and felt like she was flying through time immediately, the feeling of being in the vortex familiar.
When Light stepped through the portal and vanished from Riku's sight, everything around him began to blur. But the twenty-three year old only closed his eyes, accepting this fate. He would disappear, at least this version of him. But everything would be alright. Things were going back the way they were supposed to be.

Lightning arched a brow, tilting her head a little as she looked at Warp. "What's with the watch?" she asked, having noticed him finger it before. Was it a source of power or something?

Warp turned his attention to the one who just happened to throw him off his bike. "Good eye," he complimented with the same devious smirk. "Since you've asked, I'll take the time to show you." He turned a small knob on the watch, setting the time period to where he truly belonged. A portal appeared behind him, purple and flashing with sparks much like lightning. It was his way home. Warp waved, his hazel eyes dancing over the Keyblade wielders. "Farewell," he called. "It's the opportune moment for me to return to my own time, where I will find things to better...suit my interests." He started toward the portal, his barrier beginning to disappear now that he was leaving.

His own time? Lightning thought, tightening her grip on her gunblade. She didn't like the sound of that. How was time travel even possible? Regardless, she didn't plan on letting him get away, even if she didn't understand his purpose. "No you don't!" she cried, rushing forward. When she was close enough, she swung her gunblade, not having time to aim properly because she feared him getting away. Warp grasped her hair and dragged her into the vortex, though, everything around her becoming foreign.

"Light!" Riku cried, taking a step forward instantly. But...the portal faded, and it was gone. Warp was gone... She was gone.

Sora blinked in shock, the portal disappearing. "Where'd she go?!" he said in alarm, the portal completely gone. And there was no sign of Lightning, either. He pushed himself off the ground, taking off his helmet.

Riku tore his helmet off his head with one hand, his long silver hair falling out over his armor. "...She's gone," he said in disbelief. "Warp took her with him." She was somewhere in the future, wherever Warp took her. A bad feeling settled in Riku's stomach; there was no way for him to help her.

Ven took off his helmet, looking at the area where the portal was. Gone...not dead, he told himself. Lightning wasn't dead. He refused to believe that after she promised she wouldn't abandon him. She was alive.
Aqua looked to her friends, not knowing what to say...or to think. Lightning was gone, she could clearly see that. But to where? What was Warp's "own time"? And would they ever see her again? Aqua didn't want to think of such a strong girl being stuck in time travel forever.

Light saw the end of the portal up ahead, and she knew she was going to exit there. She reached the end quickly and was thrown out of the portal, the girl landing on her stomach on the dusty ground outside the portal that just appeared in the Pride Lands. She grunted when she landed, coughing slightly at the dust. Where was she? Did she make it back?
Riku's eyes widened when another portal appeared, but it was who flew through it that made him take a step forward. It was Lightning! She made it back!

Light set her hands on the ground, coughing into her shoulder and shaking her head slightly to snap herself out of the daze from flying through the portal. She heard her little brother call her name and she looked up, seeing all of her friends several yards in front of her. She breathed a sigh of relief, the feeling in her heart indescribable right now. She did it. She really did it.
Riku felt relief wash over him, his tense form then relaxing. "...Light," he said softly. She was back, from wherever she went, and without Warp. What did that mean?

Light looked up when she heard a soft voice, her eyes finding the person she saw last in the future. "Riku," she said softly. She teared up slightly at seeing him, or was it because of the dust? She believed it was both, but she'd let everyone believe it was the dust. She really, really did it. Everything was okay now.
Riku smiled faintly when Light said his name, tilting his head a little as he looked at her. She wasn't too far away that he couldn't see her eyes, though his hair kind of got in the way of that. But he could see that her eyes seemed to be...watering? Was that it? Regardless, he wouldn't question it right now; he'd worry about that later.

Light lowered her head, exhaling a soft breath as she shut her eyes. She was okay...Everything was okay. She couldn't have been more relieved after seeing so many people die. Everything was fine now. She couldn't stop repeating that to herself over and over again.
Riku summoned his Keyblade and helmet away, that way his hands were free. He started toward Lightning then, walking across the dry earth beneath his boots. His faint smile remained, happy to see that she was alright.

Lightning kept her head down for a few more seconds before she saw Riku coming towards her. She felt a weak smile appear on her lips as she pushed back on her hands so she was on her knees. She saw Ventus was giving them some room, and she was okay with that, even if she was very happy to see him alive. And young.
Riku approached Lightning and when he was in front of her, he knelt down on one knee, resting his elbow on the one that was propped up. "Hey," he greeted, his voice still soft with her. She'd only been away for a minute, but he had been terrified for her safety. But, she looked okay. That was good, right?

"Hi," Light greeted softly in return, looking over his whole face. He was younger all right. How long had she been gone? She set her watch for maybe thirty seconds after she vanished. Thirty seconds for them...Two weeks for her. Unbelievable.
"You okay?" Riku asked, tilting his head a little as his smile faded. She looked alright, but time travel was a crazy thing. What happened while she was gone?

Light nodded faintly, her eye staying on Riku's. "I'm alright," she said softly. Did I really just say that again? she thought. She always said that, but she felt like she meant it here, unlike other times. She was okay, just exhausted.
Riku studied Lightning for a moment, just looking her over. He'd heard her say that multiple times before, but this time he believed it. He could tell by the look in her eyes that she was being honest. "What happened to Warp?" he asked then, looking past her briefly to where the portal should have been.
  • Author
"I killed him, with a little help," Light responded, voice still soft. Man, did she have a story to tell. It was so crazy they probably wouldn't believer her at first when she said she jumped five years into the future.
Riku's eyes widened slightly. "He's dead?" he said in disbelief, instantly turning his head to look at Sora and the others. That was...surprising, but great at the same time. He saw Roxas shrug before he turned his focus back to Lightning. "...Who helped?" Who did she get to know in the future that would help her out, especially with someone so dangerous?
