A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things ) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

 

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way.

 

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

 

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

 

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

 

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh?

Light smiled weakly, looking past Riku to everyone else who was gathered around. "You guys did," she answered, looking back to Riku so that she could see his expression when she said that.

Riku heard a gasp and voice of question from Aqua and Roxas, but he only blinked, shaking his head with wide eyes. "We did?" he asked dumbly. They helped? Their future selves?

Light nodded faintly, her small smile widening at Riku's expression. "It's a long story," she said softly. "Maybe we should go home so I can tell you there." She had two weeks to go over with them.

"Yeah...sounds good," Riku answered slowly, momentarily confused. He at least hoped that would clear up once they got back. He pushed himself up and offered his hand to Light. It was time to head back home.

Light reached for Riku's hand, and she knew that the Riku in the future was smiling. He was happy, because the girl he loved wasn't taken by Warp five years ago. Not for long, anyway. She stood with Riku's help, though she was a little off balance at first from not having slept in at least thirty hours.

Riku lifted his other hand and placed it on Lightning's side. "Easy," he said softly, steadying her. Whatever happened with her in the future, it obviously didn't help her balance.

Light looked up at Riku, smiling weakly when he helped her. "I'm alright," she assured him softly. "Just tired." She'd survive. She didn't go through all that work just to come back to the present to die of exhaustion.

Riku nodded to Lightning, his hand still in hers and the other still on her side. He focused on her for a moment before he looked over at his friends. "Let's go," he softly. Light would ride with him.

 

Roxas nodded to Riku and turned around, walking a few steps back before he threw his Keyblade, summoning his glider. He wanted to go back home to Namine, even if they hadn't been away that long.

Sora hummed in agreement, putting his helmet back on before summoning his glider. It appeared in just a few seconds, and he jumped on it when it was by him. It was time to go home, and now they wouldn't have to worry. Their enemy was gone.

Riku released Lightning and summoned his Keyblade and helmet, the latter covering his face. He stepped past Lightning, to the area that was open behind her, and summoned his glider along with the others. He climbed onto it once it was there, turning his head to look at Lightning. Whenever she was ready.

Lightning got onto the glider behind Riku, wrapping her arms around his torso securely. She couldn't help but lean into him, eyes shut as the side of her head rested on his armor. He had no idea what this would mean to his future self, if that Riku still existed. She was sure that the future Riku was better off now that the issues with Warp were resolved.

Riku glanced over his shoulder at Lightning, smiling behind his mask. But then he saw one of his friends summon a portal to leave the Pride Lands, and he lifted his glider toward the sky to follow their lead. It was time to go home.

On the ride home, Light felt so exhausted she almost fell asleep on Riku. But she wasn't dumb enough to let herself lose consciousness in space, or without warning Riku. She was awake when they made it back to the Islands, which were warm and sunny. As they should have been.

Riku lowered his glider behind Roxas, having followed him through the portal into the Islands. He lowered it to the sand on the beach, which was deserted for now. He looked over his shoulder at the girl who had her arms wrapped around him. She could get off whenever she was ready.

Light felt Riku land the glider, but she couldn't find the desire to let him go. She kept her position with her arms wrapped around him and eyes shut for a few moments, feeling like a softy for wanting a piggy-back ride right now. But she was so tired, and she wanted this moment for so long. At the same time, though, Riku couldn't understand that. He had no clue what happened.

Riku sat up straight, lifting his hands from the bars to Light's arms. "Lightning," he said, a small amount of humor in his voice. Why wasn't she letting go? He didn't get it.

Light smiled weakly, though it was a bit sad as well. He really didn't remember anything. But she hadn't expected him to. It was alright. "You'll understand later," she murmured. After she told him what happened.

Riku arched an eyebrow, letting his armor fade in a faint glow of light, so he felt Lightning's touch against the fabric of his clothing now. "If you say so," he said, the humor in his voice still there. He kept his bare hands on her arms, not moving, even if Roxas was giving them a weird look from his place not too far off.

Light eventually did release Riku, feeling a few peoples' stares on them. She set a hand on his shoulder and got off the glider, holding onto his shoulder for a second until she was balanced. She noticed for the first time they were on the play island, and Namine was just arriving on her boat as Sora was with Kairi. She had to tell all of them what happened...Where did she even start?

Kairi stood with Sora, her eyes on him as she pulled back from the hug. He was safe, and that was one of the things she was always grateful for whenever he returned. She turned her head as her hands left her lover's shoulders, seeing Riku climb off his glider and summon the vessel away. Everyone was safe, thank goodness.

Ventus looked to Lightning when she stepped over closer to the main group, seeing by her expression she was ready to talk. "Long story?" he asked, double checking. When she nodded, he plopped down in the sand, sitting Indian-style as Namine walked over to the group and Terra sat down more calmly than Ven did. He was ready for the story.

Riku walked over to the group and sat down on the other side of Lightning, Ven on the other. It was time for her to spill the details, and he was ready for them. Seeing Roxas sit down with Namine, and Sora with Kairi, he could tell they were ready as well.

 

Aqua took a seat beside the boy she loved, sitting closer to him than she would have if they were just friends. "Alright," she said softly, looking to Lightning. "Whenever you're ready to share."

Lightning nodded slightly, more awake than she had been on the ride home. It was time to focus. "When Warp first pulled me into the vortex, he pulled me into the time continuum," she said. "We battled there for a little while before I stole the watch off his wrist." She looked down, seeing she still wore it. After this discussion, she'd destroy it. This was a power nobody should have had.

Riku's aqua eyes were focused on Light, his arm propped up against one knee, the other leg casually out in front of him. She fought Warp in the vortex? That was hard to imagine, but he was just glad she was alright.

"When I took the watch, he was thrown out of the time continuum," Lightning continued, looking down at the watch on her wrist. "I stayed there for what felt like a few seconds, but really, it was a few months later that I appeared in Destiny Islands. That gave Warp time to prepare for my arrival, and I was ambushed by his soldiers as soon as I got there. They wanted to retrieve the watch I stole." She nodded slightly to the watch she still wore, the one everyone must have noticed by now.
