Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Roxas had his arms wrapped around his legs, his knees to his chest as he listened to the story. Everyone was silent, and he noticed most gazes rested on the watch when Lightning nodded to it. He looked back up at her face, wondering how far this story went.

"...Long story short, I was only able to kill two of the five. I was about to die when some stranger flew in and chased them off. After that, he took me back to his world and helped me recover from the battle," Light looked over at her boyfriend beside her, continuing. "I didn't know it at first, because this person couldn't reveal their identity to me in Destiny Islands, but it was Riku." He was the one who saved her life.
Riku blinked at the statement, seeing the look in Lightning's eyes. She clearly wasn't lying, but he was there? He helped her? He was glad for that, since he cared so much about her. Riku's eyebrows furrowed a little, wondering what more happened after that. What part did he have in the future?

Lightning looked back to the rest of the group, continuing. "He told me I jumped five years into the future, and he knew I was coming because Warp told him so. The past six months, he worked to try and stop Warp from hurting the worlds while the rest of you were on other business. We came up with a plan: I would lure out his lackeys and we would interrogate them to find out where Warp's world was. But...that didn't quite go according to plan." She looked down at the ground, furrowing her eyebrows slightly. "We didn't get the information we wanted and we almost died in the process, but we survived. We went back to Riku's world and rested up from the fight when the two remaining soldiers arrived. They discovered Riku's identity out of his suit and we were forced to kill them so they didn't let Warp know who his true enemy was. But he found out soon enough anyway. He came to our world and started a fight, but then the rest of you showed up. Except for Namine and Kairi." She nodded slightly to the two when she referenced them.
Roxas glanced at the girl he loved next to him when Lightning made a reference to her, but then he looked back to the older girl telling the story. They were all in this future, but separated. That was...sad, but that wasn't the point. Roxas focused back on what Lightning was saying, waiting to hear more.

Light actually had to pause, not remembering what came next in the story. Oh...Then she remembered. "Everyone wasn't together long after Warp left and his revived-soliders were killed," she said. "Some people went in search for Warp's world and they found it, but then his soldiers were revived yet again and went to hunt down some victims." She furrowed her eyebrows at the thought, knowing she wouldn't go in detail with that. "...Anyway, after that, we went back to Warp's world and managed to break through the barrier that surrounded it. I was injured in the process, so we went back to Riku's world and Kairi and Namine both came, since they knew how to heal injuries pretty well. After I was recovered, we went back to Warp's world only to be ambushed by his soldiers. ...It was the final fight, and only Riku and I survived. After Warp was defeated, we figured out how to use the watch and sent me back here." And that was that.

Kairi's eyes widened at the last part of the story. They all...died? That was awful... But the future then wasn't set in stone, which was why Light was back. So it was different now, wasn't it?

Riku stared down at the sand, not knowing what to say. That was...interesting, and really complicated. "...We were surrounded by Darkness," he concluded. That had to be the reason why everything was so horrible.

Light nodded slightly, looking down at her lap. "Warp messed up a lot of things," she said. "Now that I'm back and he's defeated, the future should be a lot brighter than what I saw." And she was glad for that. They had no idea how awful it was.
Riku hummed softly and nodded. So he was dead, and Light was safe. At least something seemed to go right out of everything happened in the future. It sounded horrible to Riku, and depressing. He was actually glad that it wouldn't be his real future, or his friends' real futures.

Light clasped her hands in her lap, looking down at her hands. "I was there almost two weeks," she said softly. It was crazy how much had happened, and how close she grew to the future Riku. She actually missed him.
Aqua pondered the thought, and she furrowed her eyebrows slightly, leaning against one hand as her legs were tucked under her. "Two weeks for you was hardly a minute for us," she said softly. That was incredibly complicated. Time travel was definitely something not to be messed with.

Sora noticed Lightning nod slightly at that, and the brunet was in the same mode as Aqua. He never would have guessed Lightning went through so much in what was only a minute for the rest of them. It was crazy.
Roxas lifted one of his hands from his legs and scratched the side of his head, a puzzled look on his face. "That's crazy," he commented. "Time travel's too...complicated." He didn't like it.

"Heh," Light laughed weakly, shaking her head as well. You have no idea. She was the one who went through it all, after all. The whole process was confusing and very draining. She didn't know how Warp did it.
Riku glanced from Roxas to the watch on Light's wrist. Since it was so complicated and dangerous... "We should probably destroy that watch," he said, looking up at Lightning's face then. It was too risky to keep it around.
  • Author
Lightning looked over at Riku, nodding slightly. "I was already planning to," she said. She didn't want anybody else using this watch and screwing anything up. She had enough with time travel, even if a part of her wanted to go forward to see how the future looked without Warp.
Riku smirked ever so slightly, motioning to the watch with one of his hands. "Wanna do the honors?" he asked Light softly. She must have been fed up with the concept of time travel, so destroying the watch herself would probably make her feel at least a little better about it.

Light smiled weakly in humor. To think that just a few hours ago she worked on fixing the watch. "You go ahead," she said, unclasping the watch and setting it in the hand Riku used to motion to the item. She didn't care.
Riku looked down at the watch in his hand, and he glanced back up at the girl beside him with a small nod. "You got it," he said then, pushing himself up from the sand. He turned around and started toward the water, which had been right behind him anyway. It was time to get rid of this watch.

Light glanced behind her when Riku went to the water, but then she thought of something else. She changed her position so her legs were folded to the side of her, the girl reaching into her pouch and pulling out two small but valuable books. "Who wants the journals?" she asked. She saw Sora nod slightly and reach out a hand, so she gave to him.

Riku approached the water, but stopped when the waves lapped at his feet. He tossed the watch up into the air before catching it in his hand again, staring at it. He then summoned his Keyblade to him, knowing what had to be done to get rid of this watch for good.

After seeing Sora take the journals, Kairi looked toward Riku, wondering how exactly he was going to destroy the watch. But when she saw his Keyblade, she had an idea.

Light saw everyone looking in Riku's direction, and she did the same. Did he have a specific idea for destroying it, or was he just going to hack it to bits? No matter the case, she would be happy as long as it was destroyed. Time travel was too dangerous to experiment with.
Riku frowned as he stared down at the watch, but then he lifted his sight to the sky. Pulling his arm back, he threw the watch high into the air, over the water. He then pointed his Keyblade up at the device, his eyes narrowing as he aimed carefully. Summoning a light at the tip of his blade, Riku released it, the white beam shooting from his Keyblade and to the watch. It impacted it directly, the watch getting wrapped up in the white light before it disappeared completely, the only remains being ashes that fell into the water.

Light subconsciously hummed at the destruction of the watch, seeing all her hard work turn to ash. But she was happy that it was gone, because that was a power to dangerous to keep sitting around. She would live in the present, but for the future. She would have faith that now, the future was a bright one.
Riku lowered his Keyblade to his side, seeing the remains mix with the salt water not too far off. He turned around a little and looked to the others, shrugging with a small smirk. They wouldn't be seeing that again.
