Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Kairi continued to walk, and when she was about three-fourths of the way across the bridge, she looked up. That was when her steps came to a silent halt. Her eyes were on the boy she neglected to see before coming up here, and now there wasn't any way for her to leave without him knowing...was there?

Sora noticed Kairi stop, and that made him feel nervous...and awkward. "H-hi," he stuttered, wishing he could smack his forehead for sounding so dumb. This was Kairi he was with; why did he feel so awkward? And why did she look like she wanted to turn and walk away?
Kairi hesitated for a second, seeing the image of Vanitas appear where Sora was before fading back to the boy she loved. She nodded her head in greeting, afraid her voice would betray her. But what could it betray? It was obvious that she wasn't okay.

Sora lifted a hand and rubbed the back of his head, his eyes staying on Kairi. "Do you, uh, want to sit with me?" he asked, not knowing what else to say. She didn't look like she did, since she was just standing there, and that explained the confused and concerned expression Sora wore.
Kairi opened her mouth to reply, but upon seeing the expression Sora had on his face, she turned her head. Clamping her mouth shut, she looked down at the ground below the bridge, not moving. This was awful...

Sora took that as a no, and that only made his worry increase. He fought the urge to walk over to Kairi and set his hands on her shoulders, somehow sensing that it would have been a bad move. "Or, uh, if you want to be alone here, I'll leave." He could go back to the mainland or go to the other side of the island if privacy was what she wanted.
Kairi's eyes went back to Sora at that. "Oh...um, no. It's alright," she said softly, speaking to him for the first time. "...I'll go." She tucked her hair behind her ear and then bit her lip, turning around to start back the way she came. She didn't even really know why she came to the Island. Obviously it was a bad idea...

Sora blinked, watching Kairi walk away. That was it? She had walked out just to say that she would leave? She really is avoiding me...he thought sadly, his expression showing confusion, concern, and hurt mixed together.
Kairi closed her eyes, releasing a soft sigh as she walked across the bridge. Vanitas... She always saw him when she looked at Sora. It was so frightening, and just a second ago, she had been frozen in fear. Why was she seeing him? Why was he haunting her?

Sora sighed, turning around and facing the ocean as he sat on the tree. He had to face her, but he had a feeling that now wasn't a good time. Maybe he could get Namine to talk to her first. Yeah...maybe that would help.
Kairi approached the shack door, not looking back. If she did, she knew who she would see... The girl made a sound of disgust and started to descend the steps, planning to go to the Secret Place. There, she could think in peace. Or at least sleep...she hoped.

Sora needed to talk to someone too; maybe he could find...Riku? No, he couldn't; Riku was avoiding him too. And he always felt bad about approaching Roxas or Namine, since they were just recovering from a hard time with Ty. Maybe...Ven, or Aqua, or even Terra?
Kairi left the shack and walked toward one of the few ramps that led to slightly higher ground and over to her destination. She passed the pretty waterfall, only briefly glancing at it. It was then that she ducked her head, approaching the small hole in the wall that would lead her to her small cave. She was exhausted, confused, and scared...and she hoped this place would calm her down enough to sleep.

But if he decided to leave, then he would wait for Kairi to go someplace on her own so she didn't think he was following her. Sora didn't want to stress her out for whatever reason.
When Kairi reached the cave, her eyes instantly found the drawing belonging to her and Sora. She pressed her lips together and approached it, kneeling down in front of it. Why couldn't things be like those days, when life was so easy? It probably wasn't; she was a kid back then, ignorant to all the trouble in the world.

After a few minutes, Sora jumped off the tree and looked around, not seeing a sign of Kairi around anywhere. He took that as his chance to leave, and so he turned around and started for the bridge so he could go back to the mainland.
Kairi sighed and moved over so she was leaning her back against the wooden door in the Secret Place. She brought her knees up to her chest and let her arms cross over them, in which she rested her head in. She was exhausted...and on top of everything else, scared. Would it all just go away? Or would the nightmares keep occurring?

Sora walked across the bridge instead of jumping down, the teen walking through the shack before he made it down to the beach. He walked across the sand and saw Kairi's boat still there, and so he just assumed she was on the other side of the island.
Kairi let the serenity of the cave relax her, as well as the echo of the waterfall just outside as it bounced off the walls. Sleep was all she wanted, since she would've liked an escape from reality. But the real problem also lied within her dreams. Was there an easy out on this?

Sora got on the deck and then hopped into his boat after he untied it. He started back for the mainland, not sure what he would do when he got there.
Kairi felt herself dozing off after a few minutes. She was partially scared at that, afraid Vanitas would appear in her sleep again. But another part of her was accepting the darkness of unconsciousness, hoping she would get rest out of it. It only took another minute before Kairi was taken under, managing to stay upright in her sleep.

Within a few minutes, Sora made it back to the mainland and decided that he would just walk on the beach for a while. Maybe if he got too antsy, then he would start running. It didn't really matter as long as he distracted himself for a while.
Aqua was walking down one of the paths in Destiny Islands, the beach within her sight. She had separated herself from Terra and Ven, who were being goofballs and spending some time together in town. So she decided to go for a nice walk. But upon approaching the beach, she also saw Sora. And...he looked a little down.
  • Author
Sora didn't see Aqua on the same beach as him, his gaze down on the ground. He knew that he wouldn't be able to forget his issues; he never could when it came to Kairi. She was too important to ignore.
"Sora!" Aqua called from her position, her walk not halting as she stepped onto the beach. Something was obviously wrong; this kid was so optimistic most of the time. What could have happened?
