Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Sora smirked slightly and gave Riku a silent thumbs-up. He was glad to see that thing go, and he was sure everyone else was feeling the same. He had no desire to have anything to do with Warp or his technology again.
Riku caught Sora's thumbs-up and he nodded to his best friend, then dismissing Way to Dawn. "So...what now?" he asked, turning around to face his friends completely. The story was told and the watch was destroyed. What was left to do, if anything?

Sora shrugged slightly. "I guess someone should take these journals back to the King," he said. King Mickey liked keeping them in his castle, both for protection and research. So Sora wouldn't mind flying there quickly to give him the journals.
Riku lifted an eyebrow slightly at Sora's words, already knowing he would volunteer to go. "Just don't get sidetracked," he said, obviously referring to Donald and Goofy. Something always happened with those two, who weren't exactly the brightest.

Sora's slight smirk returned at that, the brunet rising to his feet. "I'll try my best," he said, giving Riku a salute jokingly. But seriously, he couldn't make any promises. Donald and Goofy were some of his best friends, after all.
Kairi looked up at Sora when he stood, but then she located Riku, whose gaze was resting on her. She smiled weakly upon reading his eyes, knowing he wanted her to back him up. "Don't be too long," she said softly, looking up at the boy she loved. He could be with Donald and Goofy, but...she never did like it when he was gone for so long; she went a year without him in the past. That was awful.

Sora looked down at the girl he loved, a faint smirk still on his lips. "Alright, alright," he said, waving slightly with his comment. He may have had a lighter tone, but he really would be back soon. Kairi and Riku were both insistent, after all.
Kairi smiled up at Sora, but Riku only jerked his head toward the ocean, no doubt where Sora would take off. "Get going," he said with a small smile. Once they got those journals back to safe and secure hands, everything would be the way it was supposed to be. Peaceful and safe.

Sora nodded with a more genuine smile, stepping away from the group as he pressed the button on his shoulder armor. His armor appeared completely in just a second, and he summoned and tossed up his Keyblade a second after that. When it came from behind him, he did a flip before he jumped on it and soared off towards a portal, journals safely in his grasp. And the flip...It just helped him show off, as he normally did.
Riku chuckled at Sora's obvious show, his eyes trailing his best friend until he was gone. He heard Kairi and Roxas laugh as well, since they knew how Sora could be. Everyone knew how Sora was.

He's gonna need some new moves pretty soon, Ventus thought, his amused gaze up on the sky where Sora disappeared. He showed off whenever he could, and the flips were getting a little boring. What would he come up with next?
Riku lowered his gaze, looking back to his friends, some of them still staring at the sky. But his eyes lingered on Lightning, even if she wasn't looking back. It might have been less than a minute that she was gone, but he had been scared stiff. And then what she explained in the future... He was sure his future self had been protective of her too.

Light kept her gaze on the sky without noticing Riku's gaze on her, her expression more somber than the rest of the group's. After everything, how could she not be? She was thrust into the future, and then thrown back into the past. It would take some time to get used to this again, since she had just been getting used to the future. And the older Riku.
Riku tilted his head slightly as he looked at Lightning, his smile softening at the look on her face. She had it rough the last two weeks, at least in her own experience. "You must be tired," he said, remembering how she even voiced that back in the Pride Lands. She probably needed some rest.

Light blinked at the voice, realizing that the comment was directed at her. She looked over at Riku and nodded slightly, her pale blue eyes looking past his bangs to see his aqua ones. "I'm exhausted," she replied softly. She really was drained, despite how she was often known for having great stamina. But she had survived on only naps the past two weeks; she hadn't slept more than five hours at a time.
Riku glanced from Lightning to Ven, Aqua, and Terra, aware that she was staying with them, even if she had stayed with him in the future. "We'll see you later," he said with a small nod, his eyes on Lightning again. Whenever she was fully rested, they could all be together.

Light nodded softly, setting her hands on the ground and pushing herself up off the sand. It naturally fell off her body and she turned towards Riku, taking a few steps over to him. When she was right by him, she stood on her toes slightly to give him a light peck on the cheek, the girl returning to her previous position once the action was done.
Riku looked down at Lightning with questioning eyes, his expression holding the same confusion, even if he did smirk slightly. What was that for? Did he do something to deserve that?

Light smiled weakly, though some sadness hid behind that smile. She turned and started walking to the dock where the boats were, her eyes locked on those. He had no idea, but...She had expected that. So why did she feel so devastated?

Riku turned his head to follow Light as she walked away, not knowing what to think of that small gesture. And the look in her eyes after she did it... What happened while she was gone?

Aqua pushed herself up from her spot in the sand, ready to go home as well. She just wanted to relax, the stress with Warp taking a toll on her recently. And now this whole thing with time travel just puzzled her. Besides, the sun was starting to set; it was best they went home.

Namine saw Riku staring at Lightning as she walked away, and how confused he looked. And whether he realized it or not, he looked concerned too. Namine didn't know Lightning well, but something did seem off with her. But the blonde just tried convincing herself to believe Light was just tired.
Everyone left the island eventually, and Riku went home for a little while. But soon he went back out to the beach on the mainland and lay down in the sand. Jasmine was off sniffing things, keeping herself occupied as Riku stared up at the stars, one hand behind his head as the other rested on his stomach. He was trying to think of all the things that happened in the future that Light saw, and what he did. It was such a strange thing; it was a life he hadn't lived, but he was there.

Light rested for two or three hours, but she grew pretty restless after that. Ven was just going to bed when she said she was going for a walk. She didn't say when she'd be back, though. She was on the beach in a matter of minutes, the girl not noticing if anybody else was there or not. She was gazing across the ocean to the island, and she could practically imagine everything was ice even if she had been on the play island for her frozen battle. She could picture everything, the memories so fresh.
Out of the corner of his eye, Riku saw Jasmine not too far off, but his eyes still rested on the sky. He still couldn't grasp it. Everyone...died, but him and Light. All of his friends were gone in the future, and even if it wasn't the real future now, it still killed him inside. Riku closed his eyes, releasing a small breath. He couldn't imagine how he reacted then, witnessing it when he was older. He was torn up at just the thought.

Light stared at the island, feeling like she was reliving the battle in her mind's eye. She remembered a lot of the details, and how she was slammed down through the ice. She only survived because of Riku. If he hadn't chased off the goons and then taken her back to the Land of Departure, there wasn't a doubt in her mind she would have died of hypothermia. A sudden barking caught her attention and she looked over, seeing a dog running over to her. Jasmine.
