A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things ) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

 

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way.

 

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

 

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

 

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

 

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh?

Light tilted her head slightly to look at Riku, not sure what to make of his changed expression. He seemed happier now, and she was beginning to realize the awkward silence before was created because he didn't know who she loved. Now he knew.

Riku could only stare at Light, and when he finally found his voice, he stuffed the envelope into his back pocket. "Get over here," he said with a smile. He wanted to hold her...and never let her go, just like his older self told him to do.

Light blinked at the command, arching a brow at Riku's random request. "Huh?" she asked dumbly without standing up. Where did that come from?

Riku smirked a little more. "I wanna hold the girl I'm in love with," he admitted softly. "Is that too much to ask?" He tilted his head a little, the question in his eyes as well. She just said she loved him, and he felt the same, now and in five years.

Lightning's arched brow lowered, her confusion fading away. "Heh," she breathed a soft laugh, a warm smile appearing on her lips. She already had her hands set on the ground, so she pushed herself up and took two steps over to Riku, her smile not fading. He loved her too...She was glad.

Riku lifted his hand and set it on Lightning's hip, gently pulling her closer. He loved her... He really did. He'd thought she was something else before, someone different. But he didn't really know the truth until he got this letter, and caught a glimpse of his life without her.

Light wrapped her arms around Riku's torso, her head finding his shoulder naturally. She caught a glimpse of his long silver hair and she couldn't help but lift a hand to it, ruffling it lightly. ...Yeah, she liked it shorter.

Riku held Lightning close, and he laughed when he felt her mess with his hair. "Haircut?" he asked softly, checking with her. His older self told him to get one.

Lightning looked up at Riku in surprise, taking a moment to register that he must have heard about it from someone other than her. It was in the letter. "If you're not too attached with your long hair," she said, shaking her head softly. If he liked it now, she wouldn't force him to get rid of it.

Riku shrugged a little, though not enough to affect the embrace. "It gets kinda annoying," he admitted. Little did he know that his older self said something along the same lines in the future, after cutting it off.

Light smiled softly up at Riku, her head on his shoulder. "It'll make you look older," she said, knowing from experience. True, Riku looked older anyway, but she believed a haircut would make a difference.

Riku kept his arms around Light's back, and he held her close as he smiled a little, humming. Older... That would be good for a few reasons. One, he would be closer to the Riku that wrote the letter, the one that did such a good job of returning Lightning home in one piece. The other, he would feel closer to Light, who was older than him by three years. That would be nice.

Light smirked slightly, keeping her gaze on Riku's. "You have a lot of work to do if you wanna look like you did in the future," she said jokingly. "You were pretty buff." Riku was strong now, but he was a lot stronger in the future. And he had a different Keyblade, too. She never did ask about that, or Destiny Islands being frozen. Maybe it was better she didn't know some things.

Riku made a face, lifting one of his arms from Light's back to examine his muscles. Yeah...he needed to hit the gym. For Light. He needed to be strong for her.

Light turned slightly in Riku's embrace, seeing him looking at his muscles. She laughed softly when she looked back and saw his facial expression again, the girl shaking her head before she turned her face into his neck. There was no rush on that; he had five years to become the young man she met. But this time, he would turn into a happier version of that brave, wise young man. She had a lot of faith in him.

Riku felt Light's face in his neck, but he looked out of the corner of his eye at her because of her laughter. "What, are you laughing at my toothpick arms?" he asked with a small smirk.

"Yeah, that's exactly it," Lightning responded, amusement present in her voice. Of course Riku didn't have toothpick arms, not compared to his friends. And he was a whole lot bigger than Lightning was, even if she was probably as strong as he was.

Riku chuckled a little, wrapping his arm back around Lightning. "I figured as much," he said, playing along. He knew he was far from toothpick arms, but it just seemed like the right description.

"You're just so scrawny, Riku," Lightning said, faintly shaking her head as she embraced Riku. But at the same time, she could feel the muscle in his back; he wasn't scrawny at all. That was why this was a funny conversation.

Riku rolled his eyes, but gave Lightning a light squeeze as he kept her in his arms. "I know...I really gotta hit the gym," he said with a small smirk. He did, too, since he had to be strong for her. It just meant more workouts.

"No kidding," Light murmured, though she was only joking. Like she told herself before, there was no big rush on Riku growing stronger. He was good enough the way he was.

Riku pulled his head back a little, looking down at her. "Hey," he said, though his smirk was still in tact. "That hurts." He didn't let her go, keeping his strong arms around her.

"Truth hurts," Light responded with a faint shrug, smirking as she kept her face turned against his neck. That may have been truth, but she was just being silly now, and so was Riku. And she loved doing this with him for the first time in a long time.

Riku shook his head slightly, though he came up with something else to keep this going. "I get it," he said softly. "You go for the wimpy guys. Right." He lifted an eyebrow, glancing down at her out of the corner of his eye. What would she say to that?

Light took her face out of Riku's neck. "No way," she said. "My guy has to be able to compete with me. And defend himself so I don't always have to save his sorry behind." She smirked slightly at him, though she remembered back to Deep Jungle when she had to carry the older Riku out of there. She saved him, but he saved her a lot more often than she saved him.
