A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things ) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

 

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way.

 

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

 

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

 

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

 

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh?

"Sorry behind?" Riku repeated with the same expression. "Man, that's a little harsh." Of course, he was just playing around, just like she was. He and Lightning hadn't joked like this since Warp arrived, which could have felt like weeks for her, but it was only about two days for him.

"You said you could handle bold," Light said, shrugging faintly as she looked up at Riku. "I'm holding you to that." She was being bold with the 'truth', which was really the opposite. Riku was the one always saving her, past and present and future.

Riku's smirk turned into a small smile. "I see traveling to the future and back didn't rid you of your stubborness," he commented quietly, not having to speak loud since she was right next to him. Of course, he didn't mind. He loved Light, and every little thing about her.

"Nope," Light said with a small smirk. "Disappointed?" She certainly hoped not, but if he was, he would have to deal. She was naturally very stubborn.

Riku shook his head a little. "Nah," he admitted softly. "I find this side of you quite amusing sometimes." And of course he loved it, because it was a part of her. He loved Light.

"Amusing?!" Light said, pulling back slightly and furrowing her eyebrows at Riku. Her stubbornness wasn't meant to be amusing!

Riku fought his chuckles, keeping his tight hold on Light even if she pulled away a little. "I said sometimes," he said in his defense, a small smirk on his lips.

"Sometimes is still terrible!" Light whined, squirming as she tried to get out of Riku's "scrawny" arms. But she had a feeling he wouldn't let her go that easily.

"You're overreacting," Riku pointed out, fighting his laughter again. He still wouldn't let go of her, no matter how hard she tried to get out of his arms. Like Riku was going to let her go after that letter, or confessing his love for her.

"And you're keeping me hostage with your 'toothpick' arms," Light said, arching a brow at Riku when she saw him fighting laughter. He wasn't weak, but she had already known that.

Riku smirked a little, chuckling without thought. "You're not just a hostage," he announced proudly. "You're a hostage I love. Isn't that good enough?" He hoped so, though she was never truly a hostage. But he wasn't planning on letting her go anytime soon.

Light opened her mouth to retort, but hearing Riku say he loved her again left her her a little dumbstruck. But to answer his question...Yes, that was good enough. She was happy to be in his arms.

Riku's smirk faded away slowly upon not getting a response, and seeing the look on Light's face. "...What?" he asked, his eyebrows furrowing. Should he not say it like that? Should he just say "I love you" plainly, without putting the whole hostage thing in there? Maybe that was insulting...

Light smiled, shaking her head softly. "I'm just not used to hearing you say that," she said honestly. But her eyes showed that she didn't mind it. It was something she would willingly get used to.

Riku's expression relaxed, the boy nodding slightly. "It's...a little new for me too," he admitted somewhat shyly, glancing to the side at the waves coming in before his eyes fell on Lightning again. He would have to get used to it. He'd never been in love before.

"A little?" Light asked with an arched brow. She hoped it was completely new, because she didn't want to picture Riku going around town telling all the girls he loved them. She wanted to be the only one to hear it, and the only person to say it to him. ...She didn't want anyone taking him away from her.

Riku looked away sheepishly. "Oh, uh...completely, I mean," he said with a weak and nervous smile. "I've never exactly been close to a girl." Yeah, he'd flirted and stuff; what teenage boy hadn't? But...not like this.

"Never exactly this close?" Light inquired, her eyebrow still arched. "Well, you won't be this close for long if you keep making blunders like that. Or flirting with girls behind my back." She smirked then, showing she was completely joking. Riku wasn't getting rid of her that easily.

Riku's eyes had widened at Light's words, but when he saw that smirk, he closed his eyes, releasing a breath. "Don't do that," he begged, loosening his hold on her a little. He really felt at fault.

Light laughed quietly, eyes softening at Riku's comment. His eyes were closed already, so she leaned up and gave him a light kiss on the lips, hoping that would suffice as an apology. She was just messing with him after all.

Riku felt his form relax at the kiss, and he returned it gently, his eyes staying closed. He moved one of his hands up Light's side without thought, his nerves going away for the time being.

Light got chills at Riku's touch, and she lifted one of her hands to his shoulder while the other went to his cheek. Her eyes were shut and she was content, this being the first kiss on the lips she gave Riku since she came back.

Riku continued to kiss Light, his lips moving gently with hers as they stood on the beach under the stars, the only sound being the waves rolling in. But after a minute he gently withdrew, though his face was still close to Light's as he took in a needed breath, savoring her touch against his skin.

Light kept her face close to Riku's even after the kiss was done, her eyes staying shut as she listened to the waves. This was...perfect. It was just what she needed after being away for two weeks in a strange place full of danger and hardship. Thinking about that, she was surprised Riku dropped that subject so easily. She hadn't told him any details from her life the past two weeks.

Riku opened his eyes as another dull roar of the waves sounded on the beach, his gaze immediately falling on Light's face. She was...beautiful, an angel, a warrior; everything. She was perfect. Riku kept one hand on Light's side, the other on her hip as he gazed at her. "...I love you," he breathed softly, his voice no louder than a whisper. When he said that, Riku's heart skipped a beat, and that was how he knew it was true. He couldn't lie about such a thing.
