Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Sora lifted his head at the call, looking up and over to see Aqua on the beach. He felt a weak smile appear on his lips as he brought up a hand and waved to her, forcing himself to greet her at least in that way.
Aqua smiled softly at the boy, making her way over to him. She began to wonder where his friends were, all four of them. He was hardly ever by himself around this time of day...

Sora stopped where he was, his hand going back down to his side as he waited for Aqua to come to him. He had been heading in a different direction, after all, so it wouldn't have been right to keep walking and make her catch up.
Aqua came to a stop next to Sora, looking down at him. "Where are you off to?" she asked lightly, her small smile still present on her lips. She wanted to appear friendly and not so much concerned at this point, not wanting to ambush him.
  • Author
"Nowhere," Sora said with a light shrug, forcing a lighter tone of voice and a faint smile. "Just walking." He had no destination in mind; he just needed to clear his head and figure out what to do here.
Aqua nodded with the same soft expression. "Same here," she said. She hadn't thought of where she was going either, simply letting her feet take her where they wanted to go.

"Mm," Sora hummed with a faint nod. He almost asked her how she and the others like Destiny Islands, but he didn't really feel like holding a conversation right now. Maybe if he ran into her later, then he would ask.
Aqua's small smile faded after a moment, the woman tilting her head to the side. "Everything all right?" She couldn't help but ask, considering the look on Sora's face. Something felt off, anyway.
  • Author
"Uh, yeah," Sora lied, lifting a hand and running it over the back of his head. "It's nothing." At least, he was hoping that it's nothing. He honestly didn't know what "it" was right now, and it was driving him nuts.
Aqua's eyes softened with concern, despite Sora's insistence. "...All right," she said regretfully. "If you're sure." He knew that even if they weren't that close and had only just met, that she was there if he needed to talk. And if he wanted to, she would listen. Aqua was just that way, especially with kids around Ven's age.

Sora lowered his hand, realizing that Aqua wasn't buying his lies. "You don't believe me," he instantly said, not surprised. She seemed like she would be good at seeing through charades.
Aqua shook her head, proving that Sora as right. "No, I don't," she said to him. "You're not yourself, Sora." It worried her a little. Something obviously was wrong, and she was curious as to what it was.

Sora glanced down at the ground before he looked back up, deciding not to deceive Aqua. "Kairi and Riku have been avoiding me ever since we got home," he informed her. He hadn't seen Riku today, but his encounter with Kairi just now hadn't been pleasant.
Aqua's expression broke into one of sadness and concern combined. That was no good... Sora's best friends were ignoring him? "Oh. Do you have any idea why?" she asked, speaking her thoughts out loud.
  • Author
"No idea," Sora said, looking down at the ground when he felt sadness appear in his big blue eyes. He had been dwelling on it ever since this whole thing started, and he couldn't come with anything to answer Aqua's question.
"...I'm sorry," Aqua said, unable to help herself. It must have been so hard for Sora to deal with. She couldn't imagine Terra and Ven ignoring her for a reason unbeknownst to her...
  • Author
Sora shrugged lightly, not knowing what to say. He was sorry too; he wished that this wasn't happening. It was very stressful, having his two closest friends ignore him for reasons unknown to him.
Aqua tilted her head a little. "Have you tried talking to either of them?" she inquired. Speaking to them about it could help; maybe he could figure out what exactly was wrong...
  • Author
"They never give me a chance to," Sora said, lifting his head and looking at Aqua. "They run off the first chance they get..." Kairi had pretty much forced a hello and then left in a hurry. Why was she doing that...?
"Oh..." That was awful. Aqua couldn't imagine Riku or Kairi doing that normally. Something really must have been wrong for them to run off. This was obviously more serious than just teenage hormones and drama...
  • Author
Sora nodded slightly, not knowing what to say again. Clearly he was in a bad position here, and unless he cornered Riku or Kairi, he wouldn't figure out what was wrong.
"The only thing I can tell you, Sora," Aqua started then, "is that the next time you see either of them, try talking to them. Communication's important, you know?" She looked down at him with concerned eyes, not liking to see such a happy boy so distressed. Especially with friends.
  • Author
"Yeah," Sora said with a nod, looking up at Aqua with his one-worded answer. Of course communication was important; he knew that for a while. They were all normally fine with talking, but lately they hadn't spoken at all...it wasn't good.
Aqua offered Sora the most comforting and reassuring smile she could at that moment, doing the same thing she often did with Ven. The young woman lifted a hand and lightly rubbed the top of Sora's head, messing up his hair. "I'll leave you to your thoughts," she said, then pulling her hand back. She figured he needed some alone time, and she wasn't going to keep him from it.

Sora couldn't help but smile weakly, feeling Aqua ruffle his hair the way older people always used to do when he was a kid. "Alright," he said with a faint nod. He needed to figure things out right away; this problem had lasted long enough.
