Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

The next morning   Riku lingered in the living room as Lightning's guests talked on the sofas. It was the day after Sora and Kairi's wedding, and now that the event was over, everyone was heading ba

"You can and you will," the Mayor replied, his eyebrows furrowing. There was a crease in his forehead, one that Kairi had come to realize only appeared when he was incredibly set on a decision and fighting to have it approved.

Kairi's eyes softened at the words, which had been spoken with a firm tone. He was really set on this...sending her away? Just like that? What had changed his mind? Kairi thought he'd come to love her as his own daughter, and now he was just telling her to leave? How did he even know of Radiant Garden? She'd lost her memory when she was little, so he hadn't known a thing about it. "B-but..."

The Mayor shook his head. "No 'buts'," he said strictly. "Your stuff will be packed and prepared for your leave tomorrow morning. Say your goodbyes and be ready to leave at dawn."

Kairi felt her eyes begin to water at the words, tears appearing slowly in her eyes. She looked to the Mayor's wife for some support, but the woman only looked away. She appeared sad too, but she wasn't saying a word. Why? Kairi grunted slightly and rushed out of the room, heading toward the front door and opening it before slamming it shut behind her.

Everyone was happy right now, especially since Warp was gone. That was what Sora thought, anyway. Terra and Aqua were doing well, Roxas and Namine weren't going through any drama, and he and Kairi were good too. And now he had to get used to thinking of Riku being with somebody. Honestly, this was the happiest he ever saw his best friend. As for Lightning...well, Sora didn't know her as well. But he assumed she was happy, since she had Ven back and found a friend in Riku. Everything was going well, for all of them.
"Sora," Kairi's heart called instantly, the girl stepping down her porch steps and starting across the yard. She had to see him... She had to feel the comfort he always provided when she was upset. She needed someone.

Sora blinked when he heard somebody call his name, though that wasn't just anybody. "Kai?" he called in return, not thinking when he reacted that way. He suddenly felt her emotions impact him, the call having brought them to his attention. She was really upset. What was wrong?
"Meet me at the Island...please," Kairi begged, fighting the tears in her eyes as she started toward the beach. She couldn't let anyone see her like this, nobody but him. Sora was the closest to her, and he could hopefully calm her down enough to where she could explain the situation to the others.

"O-okay," Sora said, instantly pushing himself off the couch. Something was seriously wrong here; everything within him was telling him that there was a problem. He left the TV on by mistake and went into the entrance hall, putting on his shoes quickly before he went outside and headed for the Island.
Kairi heard Sora's response and continued on her way, her vision blurred by her unshed tears. She grabbed her boat when she was on the beach, her house near it anyway. Well...her old house, as it would be come the next morning. The thought hurt Kairi's spirits, the girl using her oar to go to the Island, where Sora would meet her soon enough.

Sora jogged out of the populated area where he lived, and when he reached an area far enough away from everyone, he knew what he'd do to get to the Island quickly. When he knew nobody would be able to see him, he summoned his glider and flew to his destination, flying low over the ocean a minute or two later. Was Kairi already on the Island?
Kairi stood on the beach, looking back at the mainland as she kept her arms crossed over her chest. She had gotten here moments ago, and was trying to will her tears away so Sora wouldn't catch her so upset. But he could already feel her emotions, couldn't he? It was too late.

Sora saw Kairi already standing on the Island when he got closer, and once he was right there, he jumped off the glider and landed a few feet away from Kairi. He didn't bother showing off or dismounting in a fancy way like he normally would have; even if he didn't know what was wrong, he knew this wasn't a time to show off. It was written all over Kairi's face.
Kairi's eyes trailed Sora's movements, staring at him from her spot a few feet away. She could only look at him through her blurry vision, but she blinked once so she could see his face more clearly. The look on his face was enough to tell her that he was scared of what was wrong, but she was even more horrified now that she knew what it was. Kairi already knew he wasn't going to take this well... She was being forced to leave him and all she knew behind.

Sora took a few steps forward, setting his hands lightly on Kairi's shoulders as he stood in front of her. "What's wrong?" he asked quietly, his eyes on her moist ones. It must have been serious. Was she hurt? Was her family okay?
Kairi unfolded her arms, staring at Sora for a moment before she lowered her gaze to the ground and a little to the side. "T-the mayor," she started weakly, her voice thick. "He...he..." He wants me to leave.
  • Author
Sora didn't prod Kairi any further, though he was curious and concerned. Did something happen to the mayor? Was he injured? He didn't know what else to think, not knowing the truth behind the situation.
Kairi blinked, a tear hovering on the corner of her eye as the thought entered her mind once again. "...He's forcing me to move out," she said faintly, glancing back up at the boy she loved. She had to leave him behind... It was going to break her heart, not seeing him whenever she wanted.

Sora blinked in confusion, not understanding. "Move out of the house?" he asked. That didn't make sense; Kairi wasn't an adult yet. And she didn't have a job. There was no way she could live on her own. Why would the mayor make such a ridiculous decision?
Kairi's lip quivered a little as she shook her head, though she did keep her eyes aligned with Sora's. "Not just the house, Sora," she said softly. "He's making me leave the Islands." But why? She just didn't understand.

Sora grunted softly, startled by the news and subconsciously tightening his grip on Kairi's shoulders. "L-leave the Islands?" he asked without thought. Where else would she live?
Kairi nodded slightly, lowering her watery gaze to Sora's chest. It was true. She was being kicked out of the home she'd come to love for so many years, and being forced to return to the one that she barely knew. But how did the Mayor even know about that world? Nobody knew of anything outside the Islands.

"But where would you go?" Sora asked without thought, keeping his gaze on Kairi even when she looked away. This was her home, right here. She had her friends and her whole life here. With him. And now...
"...Radiant Garden," Kairi said, blinking. The action forced the tear that had been hovering on the corner of her eye to fall and trail down her cheek. She ignored it, keeping her gaze on Sora's chest; she couldn't look at him to see his reaction. It wouldn't be good.

Sora saw Kairi's tear, and it made his eyes soften. The same happened with his voice. "Why?" he asked quietly, keeping his hands on her shoulders. This was so...random. So illogical. So painful.
Kairi shook her head, her red hair falling around her face with the motion. "I don't know," she said, her voice shaking slightly. "He just told me a few minutes ago...to say goodbye." She lifted her sad eyes to the blue ones she adored. There was nothing more to the explanation than that.

Sora could tell by the look in Kairi's eyes that there was no more to say about that, at least concerning the mayor. But that did bring up another question. "...When are you leaving?" he asked softly, though he was terrified of what the answer would be. If she was meant to say goodbye, she must have been leaving soon.
Kairi felt her heart skip a beat at the question, because the answer was too soon. "...Tomorrow," she told Sora weakly. "At dawn." She wasn't sure why she was leaving so suddenly or what influenced the Mayor's decision. I thought he loved me... Why would he send me away?
