Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Sora was very startled by the answer, not sure how to take that. It was even worse than what he was expecting, and he thought he had been prepared for the worst. He lowered his head, though he kept his hands on Kairi's shoulders. "No," he said, his voice now weak. That was all he could say. This was...terrible. Tomorrow, Kairi would be taken away from him.
Kairi looked up at Sora, not knowing what to say. But the look on his face and his reaction was enough to trigger more tears. She looked away, toward the pier not too far off. "I-I don't know what I did wrong," she confessed softly. "I pick up after myself around the house, I get good grades in school, I'm home before curfew..." What could have influenced this decision?

Sora shook his head slightly, hearing how upset and hurt Kairi was by her voice. "I'm sure you didn't do anything wrong," he said softly, trying to comfort her. But he couldn't ignore the thoughts in his head, either. He and Kairi had been apart before, but Sora was the one who did the leaving. Not Kairi. And he actually had a reason for going. Why did Kairi have to go to Radiant Garden? What was the mayor thinking?
Kairi shook her head again, a tear falling from her eye a second time. "...Then why is he getting rid of me?" she whispered weakly, speaking both to herself and to the boy she loved. Why was she being forced to leave her family--her friends included?

Sora didn't know the exact reason, confused himself. But he would speak from his heart and try to think of something to comfort the both of them. "...He probably doesn't understand that you have no family in Radiant Garden," he said softly, trying to reason things out aloud. "Maybe he thinks you should live in the world where you were born and get close to your real family..." That was all he could think of to say.
But I don't have any blood-relatives, Kairi thought sadly, closing her eyes. Another tear trickled down her face. "You are my family," she said weakly. "All of you." She didn't want to be with anyone else.

Sora lifted his hand off Kairi's shoulder to her cheek, his thumb gently wiping at the tear he saw leave her eye. "I know," he whispered in response, feeling his heart breaking for her sake. Her friends became her family, and the mayor and his wife. And now she was being forced away from all of them, and forced away from Sora's protection. That scared him. A lot.
Kairi's lips quivered, and she fought her emotions, not wanting Sora to see her this way. "...I don't want to go," she told him weakly. She wanted to stay here, with him. Always. But she had no choice.

Sora took his other hand off Kairi's shoulder, lightly setting it on the top and side of her hair. He only hummed softly to her words, not knowing how else to respond. Obviously he didn't want her to go either. What was he going to do without her? He couldn't live without her by his side...
Kairi lifted a hand to Sora's chest, the other resting on his side. She opened her eyes to look up at him. She could see the sadness in his gaze and feel it in her heart. She had to go, no matter what either of them wanted.

Sora wordlessly starting running his hand over Kairi's hair, feeling its softness against his fingers. He couldn't help but do this; they literally weren't going to be together tomorrow. Or the day after that, or the day after that. He couldn't just go to Radiant Garden with her; he had a life here, and parents. They wouldn't let him go with her or see her whenever he wanted. They really had a problem here...
Kairi felt tears leave her eyes as she gazed at the boy she loved. "...Sora," she sobbed weakly. She wouldn't see him anymore, or anyone. She would be by herself. She wouldn't see Riku or Namine or Roxas, or anyone else.

Sora moved his hand on Kairi's head so it sat on the back of it, his other hand gently moving off her cheek. He knew more tears would come, sadly, but he would rather hold her and let his shirt absorb the moisture. He wrapped an arm around her back and gently pulled her to him, not knowing what to say. Kairi...
Kairi's hand gripped Sora's shirt in a fist, the girl burying her face in his chest. How could this be happening? How could they be separated again, and permanently? This wasn't wasn't what their lives were supposed to be like. Kairi and Sora were supposed to be together.
  • Author
Sora looked down at the girl he held in his arms, his hand running over her hair again. "...We'll make it work somehow," he finally said, voice soft and gentle. No way was he about to give up on her. And he knew that she wasn't going to give up on him. At least he wasn't bound to this world like the rest of the natives were. He'd find a way to be with her...
Kairi only cried into Sora's chest, hearing his words and accepting them. But how would things work? He was here, too many miles away from where she would be as of tomorrow. It's not fair.

Sora kept his head lowered towards Kairi's, his eyes shutting as he kept running a hand over her hair. He heard her crying, felt her tears go into his shirt, and sensed the sorrowful emotions in her heart. It was torture that he couldn't do anything to take away that sadness. All he could do was hold her and cherish her while he could.
Kairi moved her hand on Sora's waist, wrapping her arm instead around his lower back and pulling herself even closer to him as she cried. How could the Mayor, her only real fatherly figure, do this to her? He was separating her from the ones she loved and cherished!
  • Author
Sora kept up his gesture, swallowing to keep his own emotions down. This wasn't fair, at all. He and Kairi had been so happy lately and getting closer and stronger as a couple. How was he supposed to be happy without her? There had to have been something he could do to keep her with him! She was in danger out there, without him.
"What're we gonna do?" Kairi sobbed into Sora's shirt, her voice muffled. She still had to break the news to Riku, and Roxas and Namine, and Terra, Aqua, Ventus, and Lightning. She was going to be a wreck, just like this move was ruining her relationships with them.
  • Author
Sora didn't know what they were going to do, but he had an idea of what Kairi was thinking of. He knew her too well for him not to know what she was considering. "Do you want me to be the one to tell them?" he asked, voice soft as he opened his eyes and looked down at the girl he loved. Kairi was a wreck; he didn't know if she could handle saying it again.
Kairi shook her head, but not enough to move Sora's hand on the back of her head. "...It's my burden to bear," she said. Even to her friends. But what if she choked up when she was about to reveal the bad news? What if Sora was better off doing it?
  • Author
Sora shook his head softly, his hand remaining on Kairi's head. "No, it's not," he said gently. "It's ours." He was going to help out in any way that he could, even if it was just telling everyone else what was going on. He didn't know what else he could do...
Kairi felt more tears spill from her eyes at the words, feeling awful...for everything. She didn't want to leave the Islands, or break this horrible news to her boyfriend and best friends. It was wrong. All wrong. "...Okay," she agreed weakly. Maybe, for her last hours with him, she could accept Sora's support. While she still had it.
  • Author
Sora nodded softly, running his hand over Kairi's hair yet again as he looked down at her. He was used to suddenly being separated from her, but...not like this. He was the one who always left, to protect her. This was just so wrong...
