Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Kairi willed herself to relax under Sora's hold and touch, though tears did fall in the silence. She just wanted to take in his touch and warmth and comfort while she could, along with the familiar sound of the waves and seagulls. It would all be gone tomorrow, for a long time.

Sora leaned down after a moment, pressing his lips against Kairi's red hair as he kissed her for a few moments. He shut his eyes and held her to him, eyes shutting as he just listened to the soft sounds around them. The sounds would be here tomorrow, but the girl in his arms wouldn't be. His life would never be the same.
Kairi felt Sora's kiss, which made her smile sadly. Oh, how she was going to miss that. Everything about him was only going to be a memory to her, until they got to see each other again. I love you, she thought silently, another tear trickling down her cheek.

Sora kept his eyes shut, his arms securely but gently around the girl he loved. He loved her since the day he first met her, and he would love her till he died. Not even being in different worlds could keep them apart.
Kairi kept her face buried in Sora's chest, only hearing the beating of his heart and the soft roar of the waves. She was completely unaware that her best friend was approaching the island, soon to know her fate.

Sora started running his hand over Kairi's hair again, oblivious to the boat coming towards the Island even if he was facing that direction. His eyes were shut, and he wasn't listening for anyone to come. He just wanted to hold onto Kairi as long as he could. But even that couldn't change the truth. Tomorrow, she would be gone.

Riku stepped out of his boat, tying it once he was on the dock. But that was when he spotted his friends just down the beach. He scratched his cheek, since it looked like he was interrupting an intimate moment at first glance. But when he saw the look on Sora's face and Kairi's posture, he knew something was wrong. "Hey..." he called, jumping down from the dock and onto the sand. But he didn't advance any further than that.

Oh no, Kairi thought, feeling her heart transfer the message to Sora without her control. Her body stiffened at the voice. Riku...

Sora opened his eyes, looking at Kairi first at the message he heard in his heart. And he knew why she reacted that way. He looked up and saw that Riku had come, though he was alone. He kept his arms around Kairi, not bothering to say anything to Riku in greeting. He couldn't find his voice. Their trio was together, but...they were being torn apart. Tomorrow.

Riku tilted his head, arching an eyebrow slightly when Sora just stared at him and Kairi didn't say a word. Little did he know, the latter was crying again. "...What's going on?" he asked slowly, confused and concerned. The vibe he was getting wasn't a good one.

Riku, Kairi thought again, picturing the confused look on her friend's face, even if she couldn't see it. He was so familiar to her; he was her big brother. And now she would be torn apart from him as well, because of some split decision by the Mayor...

Sora didn't answer Riku's question immediately, first looking down at the girl he held onto. "You want me to tell him?" he asked Kairi softly. He would do it, even if it was painful. Riku needed to know, and so did the rest of their friends.

Kairi hesitated a moment, but then nodded slightly. "Please," she begged weakly. "...I can't." Her voice was already thick with emotion, and just the thought of telling Riku made her feel even more sorrow.

Riku started toward his friends, his pace easy and slightly hesitant. "...Tell me what?" he asked, hearing what Sora said to Kairi but not catching her reply. What was going on?

  • Author
Sora nodded slightly to Kairi, though she couldn't see him. He lifted his gaze to Riku, and though he was still getting used to his friend's shorter hair, he didn't think about it. Now wasn't the time. "The mayor is making Kairi move back to Radiant Garden," he said quietly, voice sad. He and Riku were losing their best friend.

Riku stopped short, only a small distance from Kairi and Sora. "What?" he said softly in disbelief, his eyes instantly going to the redhead in Sora's arms. Kairi...was leaving? To Radiant Garden?

Kairi felt more tears leave her eyes and fall into Sora's already soaked shirt. Even if most of the emotion in Riku's tone was disbelief, she knew sorrow would soon replace it. And it felt horrible to know that.

Sora nodded faintly, looking down at the girl in his arms and letting his eyes linger there. He wished he could deny that this was really happening, but he couldn't. Kairi wouldn't make this up, and the mayor wouldn't pull some kind of mean joke on Kairi. This was all real.

Riku blinked in shock, his eyes softening as he looked at his best friend. Why would the mayor do that? It didn't make any sense...

Kairi could sense Riku's gaze on her, and she knew it wasn't good. Riku, she thought again, wanting nothing more than to hold her best friend in a hug too. But...she didn't want him seeing her face; not when she was so broken.

Sora rubbed Kairi's back lightly, his gaze on her red hair. "She's going tomorrow morning," he murmured in sadness. He already knew that was going to be Riku's next question; he was able to judge his friend pretty well. He would want to know when they were losing their best friend, and it was soon. Too soon.

Riku's eyebrows furrowed, his gaze briefly going to Sora. "Tomorrow?" he repeated in disbelief. That was...really soon. Too soon.

Kairi nodded a little, forgetting her earlier worries over her appearance and pulling her head away from Sora's chest. She turned her head and looked to her best friend, her eyes meeting his. "...At dawn," she added weakly. Early tomorrow.

Sora took his hand away from Kairi's head, setting it on her back along with his other one. He noticed the tear-stains, and his heart ached at the sight of them. He couldn't take away her sadness, not this time.

Riku was sure his features fell into a heartbroken expression at the sight of Kairi's eyes. They were usually so full of happiness, but now he could see nothing but sorrow and fear. "Kairi..." he said without thought, his tone one of sadness. She was a wreck...

Kairi smiled weakly, her vision blurring with tears as her eyes stung once more. The smile faded just as quickly as it appeared, though her sight stayed on her best friend and her arms remained around Sora. These were her two boys, always. She didn't want to leave them.

Sora gently loosened his hold around Kairi, at the same time communicating a message through his heart. "Go to Riku." He knew that Kairi would want some comfort from her other best friend; Sora couldn't keep her to himself. She was too loved by everyone for him to do that.

Kairi pulled her arm and hand away from Sora, glancing at him. She smiled subtly to thank him before she turned and approached her best friend. She immediately wrapped her arms around Riku, pressing the side of her face against his vest.

Riku wrapped one of his arms around Kairi's back, the other hand going to rest on the side of her head. He looked down at her silently before he lifted his sight to Sora. This was so...sad.

Sora glanced up to meet Riku's gaze, but he looked away after a second and faced the ocean. He didn't want his friend analyzing the look in his eyes and worrying about him; Kairi was more important. Always. He crossed his arms over his chest, looking at the waves coming in. What was he supposed to do?
Kairi closed her eyes, a few tears leaking from her eyes once more as she hugged Riku. She could feel his gaze on her again, and she knew he was worried. But what could be done to fix this? Nothing. The Mayor made his decision, and Kairi was being transported to Radiant Garden tomorrow morning, whether she liked it or not.

...At least Kairi has friends in Radiant Garden already, Sora thought to himself. She stayed there a few times with Namine while everyone else was out protecting the worlds. She knew Yuffie and Aerith and Leon and Cloud...And they would all surely take good care of her. She was a Princess of Heart, after all.
Riku kept his hand on Kairi's head, his thumb moving slightly over her red hair. There had to be some way around this. She couldn't really be leaving them just like that. It wasn't right...
