A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things ) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

 

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way.

 

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

 

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

 

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

 

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh?

Aqua stood up straight and lightly waved at Sora, going the opposite way he had originally been heading. That was needed in order to give him space to think about things. She hoped everything went well, and would meanwhile bask in the sunlight this peaceful place offered.

Sora weakly waved at Aqua, the teen following her with his eyes for a few seconds before he started forward again. What was he supposed to do now?

Aqua glanced over her shoulder once she was a good distance away, seeing Sora walking in the other direction. Poor guy... She hoped things worked out in his favor.

Sora kept walking for a while, not keeping track of the time and not running into anybody on the beach. He was fine with that; he really didn't feel like talking.

A little while later...

 

Kairi was still in her same position, having been asleep for a while now. Her dreams were nonexistant for a little while, and then things eventually took a turn. She started dreaming about Sora...and spending a lovely time with him on the beach. But then, his eyes turned gold instead of staying their beautiful blue. Kairi knew that Vanitas was beginning to take his place.

After a while of thinking, Sora decided to go back to the island to try and talk to Kairi. He already looked around the front of the island, and he just got done walking around the backside. There was only one other place she could have been, and that was where he was heading now: The Secret Place.

While Kairi's head was still buried in her arms, her face twisted into one of fear. Sora was vanishing from her sight...and turning into him. It terrified her, even in her sleep. And she already knew that she would remember the nightmare when she woke up; she always did.

Sora crawled into the area, only standing upright when he was inside. He walked in and looked around, eventually reaching a more open area and seeing the girl he loved sitting in here. "Kai," he immediately called, seeing her position.

Unfortunately for Kairi, the call that was directed toward her in reality was misinterpreted in her nightmare. Vanitas said it to her, his voice within Sora. And then, Sora was him completely, and Vanitas was smiling wickedly at her. It was awful.

Sora walked over closer to the girl he loved, kneeling down by the girl that he loved. He set a hand on her shoulder, his eyes shining with concern. "Kai," he called gently.

"Mm," Kairi whined, still sleeping. The touch transferred over to her unconscious, in which Vanitas's gloved hand was on her shoulder and he was looking at her with an evil gleam in his eye. It was terrifying, and Kairi didn't know what to do in her nightmare, stunned in fear.

"Wake up, Kairi," Sora prompted, lightly shaking Kairi's shoulder. It seemed like she was having a nightmare, and so she needed to wake up right away. He didn't want her suffering...

Kairi's body shook when Sora forced it to, and she felt herself coming out of her nightmare. Vanitas's face started to fade away, his voice doing the same. Instead, she felt a warm touch--real--on her shoulder. "Mm?" she hummed groggily. She was waking up?

"Wake up, baby," Sora prompted softly after her hum, sensing that she was getting closer. He kept his hand on her shoulder but didn't shake her, his bright blue eyes on the girl that he loved with all his heart.

Sora...? Kairi thought she recognized the voice, and she opened her eyes, only to see a dim view of her legs and skirt. So, Kairi lifted her head, her eyes halfway open due to being so sleepy.

Sora tilted his head slightly to try to get a better view of Kairi's face, his eyes soft with her. He lightly ran his thumb over her shoulder and waited for her to wake up more fully.

Kairi felt the touch against her shoulder and caught slight movement out of ther corner of her eye. She turned her gaze toward that and blinked to get a clearer view. However, she only saw her worst nightmare, literally. The girl gasped, her eyes widening as she pushed herself away from who was really Sora, pressing herself against the rock wall. Vanitas! What was he doing here?!

Sora's eyes widened in surprise, and his hand fell off Kairi's shoulder when she quickly moved away from him. "Kai?" he said in worry, his big blue eyes staying on her. What was wrong? If she had been experiencing a nightmare, wouldn't she have reacted as soon as she woke up and not now? He was so confused.

Kairi's heart was racing with fear, but upon hearing that nickname, she got angry. "Don't call me that," she said amongst her terror, clamping her eyes shut. Vanitas... It wasn't him. It couldn't be him... Of course, she was too caught up in her nightmare still to realize that.

Sora blinked when Kairi snapped, his eyes showing hurt and confusion. "Kairi, what're you talking about?" he asked softly. "I always call you that..." Why was she acting so terrified? Of him?

Kairi kept her eyes tightly shut, shaking her head. "No you don't! Sora does," she retorted, fear and anger combined in her tone. This couldn't be happening! Sora got rid of him, right? He was dead...right?

Sora felt his eyes soften in great concern, the teen tempted to move closer to her and set a hand on her shoulder again. "Kai, I am Sora," he said gently.

Kairi pressed her lips together in fear, turning her head away as she opened her eyes to stare at the ground. She couldn't look over at him; he was too terrifying. And the way he talked to her... He was trying to trick her...wasn't he? Just so he could hurt her again...

"Kairi, look at me," Sora pleaded weakly, deeply concerned for the girl in front of him. She didn't see Sora for who he really was...How was that possible. She was...hallucinating? This wasn't good. At all.

Kairi didn't move, not even turning her head. Like she would comply with that... Not a chance. Not for him.
