Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Light blinked at Fang's accusation, Riku's hand on her back not soothing her in any way. How could it after what Fang just said, and did? "I tried finding a way to free you two..." she said honestly. Everywhere she went, she tried finding a cure to free Fang and Vanille from their crystal stasis.

"Save the excuses," Fang snapped, eyebrows furrowing. "You were too busy finding this Darkness reject to think of us at all!" She glanced at the kid, seeing Riku glare at her.

"Hey!" Riku hollered then, tightening his grip on his Keyblade as he took a small step past Lightning, his hand leaving her back. That was going too far. Why was he being brought into this?

Lightning brought up a hand and set it against Riku's front, forcing him to be closer to her side again. "Back off," she said through her teeth, though she wasn't sure who she was speaking to. She was angry at Fang for saying such a thing and making such radical accusations, but she was also concerned. What was wrong with her friend? What lies did she buy into?
Riku grunted at the words, believing them to be said to him. He felt Light's hand against his chest, but he didn't fight it. Instead, he glared at Fang, who stared back at the two of them with icy eyes. She was mad at Lightning because she forgot about her... Was that what was feeding her Darkness?

Light kept her hand on Riku's chest, hoping he'd stay back. She had something to say to Fang first. "You know me, Fang," she said lowly. "I can never forget my past. I never forgot about you, or Vanille." She never forgot her comrades.
"You don't say," Fang replied, tilting her head. Her expression and tone were anything but believing; she was just a vessel, programmed to find all of Light's excuses to be lies. That was how she was seeing things now.

"Fang..." Lightning said, slowly moving her hand back down to her side as she kept her gaze on her friend. "...After everything, how can you possibly believe this garbage?" She always was the one handing Fang's weapon back to her after she betrayed them; she was a true friend to Fang. How could she believe that Lightning turned against her?
"'Lightning'... It shines bright, but then the light fades away," Fang said lowly, tightening her grip on her spear. "All that's left afterward is a dull roar of thunder and darkness. That thunder signals betrayal and lies, and the darkness represents torture." She took a step forward, her eyes blazing with fury. "Look at what you've done to me!"
  • Author
Lightning grunted in shock, taking a small step back. "I haven't done anything to you!" she hollered, eyes narrowing as she recovered from her surprise. "Blame it on the Darkness," she added lowly, Fang having said something similar earlier about her attitude.
"Everything I went through with you and the others led me to Darkness!" Fang cried, taking another step forward. "After refusing time and again, I've come to accept my fate...and the responsibilities that come with it." She glanced at Riku briefly to recognize his agitated look before her eyes fell once more on her main target. Her orders were clear and to the point: Kill Lightning.
  • Author
"Your responsibilities include betraying everything you once stood for: betraying your family again?" Lightning asked, subtly shifting her position and setting a hand on the hilt of her sword. She didn't like this...but Fang wasn't giving her any other choice. She wasn't listening to reason.
Fang only glared at Lightning, her eyes icy with fury. "...Family doesn't turn their back on someone and leave them to rot," she snapped lowly. "Because of that, you are not my family. And never will be again."
  • Author
"Let's say I did leave you to rot," Light said, humoring Fang as she made her own argument. "Is that worse than you turning your weapon against all of us so you could destroy Cocoon and save your own skin?" She didn't want to drag Fang's past sins into this, but she felt like she had no other choice. Nothing was getting through to her.
"I was completing what I believed to be my Focus!" Fang hollered in fury. She was a vessel, but she had the "memories" of the true Fang, and that was enough to make her feel real. "Pardon me for trying."
  • Author
"You tried killing your 'family' in the process," Lightning replied lowly. "This is the thanks we get for giving you more than one second chance?" She was ticked off now, her hand gripping the weapon that was in her case. But, even if she was mad, she didn't want to fight her old friend. She had to get through to her somehow...She surely didn't mean all that she was saying. It was only the Darkness.
Fang blinked at the words, but then she narrowed her eyes in anger. "That's enough!" she cried, swinging her spear and then sprinting toward Lightning. She closed the gap between them instantly, swinging her weapon. Enough of the talk; it was time for her to complete her mission and get going.

Lightning pulled out her weapon instantly, her gunblade unfolding and coming in front of her as she blocked Fang's attack. She grunted at the pressure though, feeling the strength Fang put into the swing. She really was planning on hurting her.
Fang locked eyes with Lightning, their weapons shaking against each other as the former put as much pressure against the latter's blade as she could. She would not fail today. She was done with that.

Light grunted, her feet sliding back in the sand slightly as she kept pressure against Fang's spear. "Fang, knock it off!" she said through her teeth, returning the force as much as she could. Fang had gotten stronger...
Fang's eyebrows furrowed even more at the order, and she shoved more against Lightning's blade. "As if I'll listen to you," she grunted lowly. She didn't listen to anyone but the Boss.

Light gritted her teeth, knowing that if it was brawn against brawn, she would lose to Fang. But she had magic on her side, if she could only get back and shift Paradigms. She pressed against the spear before she pushed off it and jumped back, landing smoothly in the sand a few feet away.
Riku wasn't sure what to do, feeling the water splash against his ankles as he looked from Lightning to Fang, who set her spear back in ready position. She really smelled like Darkness, and it was unnerving. Why was it so strong?
  • Author
Lightning twirled her sword in her grasp, her body glowing blue for a brief moment as she shifted to a more magic-oriented Paradigm. "Why are you so eager for a fight?" she asked lowly, her gaze on Fang even if she knew Riku was still in the area.
"Why should I tell you?" Fang asked, ignoring the chump who stood on the sidelines; she was here for Lightning. "You won't believe me anyway. Blame it on the Darkness, just like all of you from the Light do to make yourselves feel better."
  • Author
"Humor me," Light said, though her voice held no amusement. Fang didn't think she'd believe her? After all the crazy things that Lightning went through lately, she could believe anything was possible.
