Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

"Mm," Light hummed automatically to Riku, eyebrows furrowed as she looked up at the sky. Whatever was going on, she didn't have enough leads to follow to reach the truth. She'd have to go check it out, and maybe find a way to get her friend back on her side.
Riku approached Lightning quietly at the answer, not knowing exactly what that meant. He guessed it was an involuntary response, one that really held no meaning. He stopped next to her and just gazed at her, not wanting to interfere. There was probably a lot going on in her head.

But since when have the fal'Cie used Darkness? Light thought, though she sensed Riku staring at her. No, forget that. There are no answers. Not now, not here. She had to go to Gran Pulse and Cocoon and figure out what happened, and then find a solution. It was her only option.
Riku's lips turned down into a small frown, the boy practically seeing the wheels turning in Light's head. She was leaving, wasn't she? After that, he didn't think she would do anything else. "...What're you going to do?"

"I'm going to Cocoon," Lightning said, finally looking over at her boyfriend beside her. It would probably take a while to figure this out, but she had time. And even if she didn't have time, she'd make time. Fang was one of her best friends, after all. One of the few people she trusted...till now.
Riku nodded once, knowing he should have expected that answer. Alright then, he thought silently. He wasn't going to stop her. Something was clearly up with that friend of hers.

"I don't know when I'll be back," Lightning said. This would be the first time she and Riku were separated as boyfriend and girlfriend. Or would he offer to come with? If he did, Light would probably turn him down. She could protect herself.
Riku glanced to the side at that, nodding again. "Just...be careful," he said softly. He couldn't go with; this was her problem, and he had responsibilities here. One of them was to make sure Sora was doing alright now that Kairi was gone. He couldn't leave his best friend now.

Light nodded faintly, looking towards the ocean. "I will," she said, the soldier in her expressing itself through her serious, determined tone. Fang was tough, but so was she. And if she was going to Cocoon, then she had friends there that would back her up if she needed help.
Riku looked back to the person he loved, fighting the urge to touch her just then. No, it was time to focus. His impulses would have to wait until things were settled. "I'll see you when you get back," Riku said quietly. He wouldn't allow himself to think this would be the last time he saw her.

Light looked back to Riku, eyes softening a bit when she saw the look in his eyes. He wasn't used to this, was he? Not being the one to run off to face danger. That was what she thought, anyway. "See you," she responded softly. He'd be okay while she was gone, right?
Riku nodded a little again. Right...see you. He didn't know how long it would be, but with Kairi already gone and Lightning leaving now... The next few days would be tough.

Light lifted a hand to Riku's shoulder, standing on her toes a little bit as she gave him a kiss on the lips. Her eyes automatically shut with the action, and she hoped this kiss would be enough to hold Riku over for a few days. She'd be back as soon as she could.
Riku's eyes fell shut, though he was a little caught off guard with the kiss. He knew he would have to get used to it; he and Light were in love, after all. He lifted one of his hands to her side, keeping her where she was as he kissed her back. Even if the kiss didn't last that long, Riku would remember it well. He had a feeling Light wouldn't be gone for just a few days.

Light kissed Riku for a few more moments before she gently withdrew, opening her eyes and looking down towards his chest. This was actually...hard. She hadn't expected it to be this painful. She missed him already even if he was right in front of her. But she had to go try to save her friend, if she wasn't beyond saving.
Riku opened his eyes, which immediately found the girl before him. He kept his hold on her side and just gazed at her, seeing the sad expression she wore. Was she thinking the same thing he was? About her leaving the Islands?

The more we draw this out, the worse it'll be, Light thought, slowly taking her hand off Riku's shoulder and lifting her gaze to him. "I'll be back as soon as I can," she said with a small nod, ordering herself to toughen up. Now was no time to get emotional.
Riku nodded a little, hesitantly withdrawing his hand from Lightning's side. "I'll be waiting," he said in response. He would hold onto the hope that she would come back; he couldn't live without her.

Lightning nodded faintly, lifting a hand and lightly lifting Riku's chin up with her fingers before she lowered her hand again. Keep your chin up. She turned and started walking away, a hand finding the hilt of her sword. It was time to summon Odin.
Riku smiled a little, and partly in sadness. He got the message Lightning tried to get across; it wasn't that hard to figure out. He watched her go, his hands in loose fists by his sides.

Lightning threw an item up into the sky, shooting it with her gunblade and seeing all the flower-petals appear. Not only that, but Odin appeared, in the form of a horse. When he was on the beach beside her, she jumped onto him, looking to the sky and seeing the portal that had appeared. Time to go. She spurred Odin onward, up into the sky and to the portal that awaited them. It was time to go to Cocoon and see what they could do to help their former ally, and friend.
Riku watched Lightning go, his head turned skyward. Once she was gone, he sighed softly, lowering his gaze to the ground. What was he going to do now? He needed to get his mind off this departure, along with another. "...Sora," he decided, turning and starting toward his friend's house. They needed a day to themselves.

Two days later

Namine was currently with all of her friends who remained on the Islands, the brunette being the only girl that remained. It was so weird, not having Kairi, Aqua, and Lightning around. And it was odd being kicked out of her own home, too. After Kairi left, the mayor kicked her out too, saying she wasn't really his daughter. Of course that hurt, but for now, she had another home, with Terra and Ven. She was staying in Aqua's room until the Keyblade Master returned. She tried not to think about any of that, though, trying to stay as positive as she could.

Riku kept his arms crossed over his chest, his eyes skyward. Things were getting really hard to deal with lately. First Kairi left, Aqua going with her, and then Lightning had to leave. Even Namine got kicked out of her own house. Everything was just messed up, and Riku didn't like it. At all.

Terra looked around the somber group, a small frown on his lips. Ven had tried getting Sora to goof off with him earlier, but the brunet wasn't in the mood for it. He didn't blame him; everyone was in a bad mood lately. They lost three members of their group, even if not many of them were that close to Lightning. It still hurt that times were changing, and he found himself missing Aqua constantly. He hoped she was alright.
