Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

The next morning   Riku lingered in the living room as Lightning's guests talked on the sofas. It was the day after Sora and Kairi's wedding, and now that the event was over, everyone was heading ba

Riku blinked, looking down to the area where he heard the reply. That was when he saw Namine, and he instantly dived down to her. He dropped from his glider where there was a gap in the trees, his Keyblade appearing in his hand when he stood upright from his crouched position. He frowned upon seeing the shape Namine was in, and who was responsible. Pain and Panic.

Panic's demonic eyes widened in fear. "Pain! It's one of them!" he cried, disregarding their target. Now they had to focus on keeping themselves alive, against a Keyblade wielder.

Namine took a few small steps back, her arms wrapping around her stomach as she looked from Riku to Pain and Panic. She was relieved that he came, and that he was alright after the battle he must have faced. But it didn't seem like it was all over...In fact, it seemed like the opposite. It's only beginning.

Riku stalked toward the two demons who, not to his surprise, backed off as he got closer. He put himself in front of Namine, blocking her from their view. "I don't need explanations," he told them lowly. "But you'll still be paying the price for the trickery."

Pain, for the first time, expressed fear. He backed up a step, his eyes wide in fright. "C'mon, don't be so harsh..." he started.

"Yeah. I-I mean, it's not like we wanted to...or anything," Panic said, backing up his friend. But the look in Riku's eyes convinced him that he wasn't buying it. They were in trouble. Big trouble.

Liars, Namine thought, eyebrows furrowing slightly at that as she looked a little past Riku to the demons. They said that they were ordered to kill her, and they took pleasure in hurting her! But they hadn't done the former, and even if she was injured, she wasn't going to die. Nevertheless, she was glad Riku was here now.

Riku only glared at the demons, seeing them squirm under his stare. He could tell they were scared, which again wasn't surprising. They were chumps, fakes. They were scared of anyone bigger them, and that was just about everyone. "What was the point of hurting Namine?" he demanded lowly. He wanted to know.

Pain and Panic shared a small glance with one another, before Panic spoke. "Uh, you see....this was the boss's idea," he said, cowering a little under Riku's hard eyes. "He wanted to get rid of...all of the Light on this world."

Namine blinked at that, surprised. So that was why she was attacked? But...wait...She obviously wasn't the main source of Light on this Island; she was only a Nobody. But there were two people in particular Namine could think of that had their Lights shining brightly: Kairi and Aqua. And both of them were gone. ...This wasn't just coincidence, was it?
Riku's grip on his weapon tightened at that. The Light? He knew that Namine was one of the people that had a huge part in the Light that protected this world...but... "Kairi," he murmured. And Aqua. This was a set up, wasn't it?

Namine looked up at Riku, though she couldn't see his face from her spot behind him. He was thinking the same way that she was, so she wasn't totally crazy. This all fit together. But she was curious about Lightning...Was Lightning leaving just a coincidence? Namine didn't know anything about the Light she held in her heart, so she couldn't say whether or not she was needed to keep the Darkness away.

Pain took a step back, looking up at Riku and seeing the fury coming to the surface. He knew what was going on. He figured it out. "Panic...time to go!" he said quickly, then turning around and sprinting as fast as he could through the forest. He heard Panic yelp before going after him, his fear pushing him to go faster and easily catch up.

Riku looked up to watch the demons go, but he did nothing other than that. He couldn't kill them anyway; they were already dead, since they were working in the Underworld for Hades. Pursuing them would just be a waste of his time, which they didn't have much of; the world was being torn apart as he stood here, in front of Namine.

Namine looked past Riku as she kept her arms wrapped around her stomach, ignoring the cold air and small wind that made her cuts feel like they were burning. Riku was letting the two get away, but she was sure that he had his reasons. It seemed to her like there was a lot more wrong than just Pain and Panic trying to kill her.
Riku turned around a little, looking at Namine. "We need to go," he said, at the same time lifting his Keyblade and casting Cure on her to heal her wounds. They had hardly any time left; the others were already being evacuated.
  • Author
Namine nodded faintly, feeling Riku's spell take away the aches from her wounds and heal the cuts. "Where are we going?" she asked, not asking why they were leaving. She knew better than to question Riku when something was clearly wrong.
Riku frowned a little more at that, not exactly knowing the answer. "Not sure," he said, glancing up at the sky. "But away from here." From home. It was all they could do, or else they'd die.

Namine nodded slightly again, following Riku's gaze to the sky. It definitely seemed like something was wrong, and while she wanted to know, there probably wasn't time for Riku to explain. She'd just stick with him until she was told to do something different. And she'd assume Roxas was already safe.
Riku stepped away from Namine, concentrating again on the task at hand. He summoned his glider and turned to her after climbing on. "Let's go," he said softly. If she didn't already know, she would see the problem soon enough.
  • Author
"Alright," Namine said, stepping over and getting onto Riku's glider behind him. She wrapped her arms around him so she'd stay on, silently nodding even though he probably couldn't see her perform the action. She was ready.
Riku made sure to wait a second after Namine was settled to make sure she had a firm grip, but then he took off toward the sky. They left the seclusion of the forest and soared over it, where the Ice Titan could clearly be seen. He figured he needed to head toward the middle of town, where the others probably were.

Namine looked over towards the beach where she had left the boys earlier, a gasp immediately leaving her lips. What was that thing? And what was he--"He's freezing everything," she realized softly. That monster was made of ice, and everything around him was turning into the same substance. The Islands were being frozen over, like Lightning saw in the future.
Riku looked over toward the Ice Titan, seeing that he already got the play island; it was completely covered in snow and ice, and so was the water surrounding it. He turned the glider, going towards town. This was what Lightning saw... If she were here to witness this, it wouldn't be good. She would be devastated.

Namine looked towards the rest of the town when Riku changed his path, the girl seeing the groups of people even from a distance. And...three large Gummi ships. She didn't question it, having a better idea of what was going on. Everyone was fleeing the Islands.
Riku lowered his glider when he was close, not worrying about keeping himself hidden; the islanders had to have known about other worlds by now. He lowered his glider to the ground, allowing Namine to get off first before he did the same, making the vessel disappear. But the townspeople were chaotic. They're not taking any of this well.

Sora stood at the front of the large gathering without noticing Riku and Namine arrive, having been beside the mayor who was very frightened over all this. The brunet obviously held a grudge against the man because of how he forced Kairi away, but now wasn't the time to worry about that. He and the others had just told them they had to leave this world, not just relocate to another island. And they were panicking now.
Roxas stood on the other side of Sora, hearing everyone's shouts and cries of fear and anger. It doesn't matter what you want! he wanted to cry. If you don't leave, you're gonna die! Didn't they understand that? They just had to trust them!

"Stay here," Sora said to Roxas, Ven, and Terra, seeing his parents and Riku's family in the crowd. He had an idea, and it involved leading by example. If some families went in a while, then others would follow. He ran down and weaved his way through the crowd, going to speak to his parents and best friend's parents. When he got close to them, his mom immediately smothered him in an embrace, worried and confused about what was going on. But he insisted he let her go, and then he spoke to the two couples (and the dog that was with one of them) and convinced them to trust him and go into one of the ships. Finally, they went on ahead, sticking together. The crowd noticed, growing more quiet when they went up towards the ships.
Riku was pushing his way through the crowd now, glancing behind him periodically to make sure Namine was with him. But when everyone got quieter he looked ahead, and that was when he saw his parents. "Mom?" he murmured. "Dad?" They were here.... They were trusting Sora.
