Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

"Please, Kairi," Sora said weakly, his concern rising up inside of him. Couldn't she sense that it was him? Couldn't she feel the worry that was inside of his heart right now for her? Or hear his voice?
Kairi shut her eyes, wanting nobody but Sora right now. Last time, he protected her from this...and he must have sensed her fear, because she could feel it within her heart, his concern for her. But...she had to be brave, even if Vanitas was trying to trick her into something by sounding so sincere.

"I'm here," Sora said through his heart. "Please...look at me." If he couldn't convince her verbally, maybe communicating through their hearts would let her know that he was really with her. How could she not see it in the first place? It was killing him that she wouldn't believe in him.
Kairi bit her lip at the words in her heart, feeling the warmth from them. She forced herself to turn her head and open her eyes. Upon doing so, she felt relief wash over her heart, but also fear because of what she realized just happened. Sora... She mistook him for Vanitas... Again.

Sora's worried eyes met Kairi's, and he could tell that she finally really saw him. If he was close enough, he would have reached forward and tucked back a strand of hair. But of course, he didn't think she wanted him close, since she had been avoiding him lately. He restrained himself for her sake, though he couldn't help but stare at her.
Kairi laughed once without humor, though it was really of one more like relief. But then she shook her head, putting her face in her hands. "Oh no..." she groaned. Not again. This couldn't be happening again.

Sora felt his worry spike even higher than it already was at Kairi's reaction. He didn't know what to say, his mouth too dry now for him to speak anyway. Why was Kairi groaning?
This was awful. Absolutely awful. Kairi couldn't keep doing this...having these episodes like this. It was eating away at her, and she felt crazy. She loved Sora, and this was him she was dealing with. But why did she keep seeing Vanitas instead of him?! It didn't make any sense!

...Maybe I should leave her alone, Sora thought, his eyes on her. She certainly wasn't acting like she wanted his company right now. If he went back to the mainland, then maybe he could talk Riku into helping her. Well, only if Riku didn't run off first.
Kairi lowered her hands away from her face, staring down at the ground before she finally lifted her eyes to Sora. Thankfully she only saw him and nobody else, but that didn't mean that wouldn't change. She needed to tell him that she couldn't see him for a while... This could only get worse...

Sora saw the way that Kairi was looking at him, and he knew that his presence wasn't wanted here. He felt like he was stabbed in the chest then, but he rose to his feet and tried not to let that show. "I'll leave you alone," he mumbled, turning around and starting out.
Kairi felt her eyes begin to water because of the thoughts within her head, but also because of what she was about to say. "Sora," she called, her eyes on him now. She had to tell him that he couldn't just leave her alone for now... It had to be longer than that.

Sora was surprised at the call, and he stopped and turned around to face the girl who was sitting on the ground. He waited for her to speak, eager to hear what she had to say to him.
Kairi felt her heart break at the sight of those blue eyes, knowing that she couldn't see them for a while after this. "...Stay away," she told him. "I can't...see you anymore..." She briefly wondered if he would question why, but she didn't ponder over that, waiting for his reaction.

Sora froze, his hands by his sides and eyes wide as he stared at Kairi. "W-what?" he stuttered. No...He couldn't have heard that right. Kairi would never say anything like that. Now he was the one hallucinating. He had to be.
Kairi shook her head, showing that she meant what she said. "I'm sorry..." she said, her voice echoing off the rock walls. "But I can't..." She couldn't handle these hallucinations. They would only grow worse...

Sora knew that he wouldn't get more of an explanation, since Kairi wasn't speaking to him. She was avoiding him because she was breaking up with him. "Why?" he said weakly, hearing his voice squeak as he forced out that one word.
Kairi lowered her eyes to the ground, her vision blurring from her unshed tears until she blinked, clearing it up. "It's complicated," she said, not knowing how to tell Sora what exactly what was going on. What would he think? Would he call her crazy? Avoid her for what she saw?

"You have to give me more than that," Sora said softly, speaking after he swallowed the lump that had risen in his throat. But he had a feeling that Kairi would only dismiss him, and because he loved her, he would follow her wishes and leave. It was the last thing he could do for her.
"I would," Kairi promised, closing her eyes. However, the action only forced a tear to the corner of her eye. She opened her eyes, finding his. "But I can't, Sora... I'm sorry that it's this way, but...it has to be." She wasn't sure for how long, but this would only tear them apart...kind of like it was now...

Sora was frozen, shut down by Kairi. She wouldn't tell him why she was ruining everything...why she was forcing him away. He couldn't believe that they were in this position right now, and in their secret place.
Kairi could feel Sora's emotions within her heart, on top of seeing them written all over his face. She was incredibly sorry, really, and she didn't want to do this. But...she had to. She just had to...

After a few moments, Sora knew that he had to leave. Immediately. He turned around and started for the exit, and he knew that if Kairi called him this time, then he wouldn't turn around. He couldn't.
Kairi watched Sora disappear, and immediately her heart fell to the pits of her stomach. She shut her eyes and started crying, the tears flowing now that he was gone... And really gone. She and Sora were done.

Sora crawled out of the cave and ran for his boat, seeing his and Kairi's tied there. He climbed in quickly and started rowing back, his eyes squeezed shut tightly and jaw locked as he remained as composed as he could. He couldn't believe this...
