Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

The next morning   Riku lingered in the living room as Lightning's guests talked on the sofas. It was the day after Sora and Kairi's wedding, and now that the event was over, everyone was heading ba

"Ugh," Riku said in disgust, leaning back in his chair. He crossed one arm over his chest, bringing the other hand up to his face. What kind of game were Jafar and Hades playing? They sent the people they loved and cared for away, and then destroyed their home! What were they doing? What was their goal?

Namine looked down sadly, ashamed she fell into Jafar's trap. "Sorry," she whispered. "I shouldn't have wandered off." She just had no idea that Jafar would come looking for her, or be involved at all. She thought she was safe.
"Don't apologize," Riku said, his voice slightly muffled as he tried to calm his anger at Jafar, his hand over his face. "This is supposed to be a safe haven." Namine should have been able to do whatever she wanted without feeling threatened. Clearly that wasn't in Jafar's agenda.

Namine nodded faintly, and not only did Riku try to comfort her, but so did Jasmine. The pooch jumped onto the bed and laid down across her lap, allowing the brunette to lightly pet Jazz. She was glad the dog wasn't stuck in Destiny Islands, and she was glad all her friends were safe. Even if things were far from perfect, there was a lot to be thankful for.
As Riku kept his eyes closed, his hand concealing his face, he tried to think of what he could do to make sure this kind of thing didn't happen again. Kairi was sent away, Aqua going with her, and Lightning was on her own mission. Namine nearly died, and now just got tortured. This wasn't okay. I have to tell the others.

Namine took a few minutes to fill Riku in on what Jafar told her even if he didn't ask, the girl summarizing everything: Jafar and Hades were working together, and they were going to conquer worlds where the Light wouldn't interfere before they went after the Princesses and other sources of Light. That meant that Kairi was safe, at least for now. And Namine was extremely glad for that. What she wasn't glad for, though, was what she knew was going to happen next: Riku would have to leave and fill the others in on what happened, and what was going to happen in the future.
Riku's expression grew more grave as the story went on, and when Namine finally ended it, he stared down at the ground. Kairi was okay for now, but what did that mean for the other worlds? The ones that didn't have Light? Would they see the same fate as Destiny Islands did? If so, Riku knew that something needed to be done immediately. They couldn't let this plan follow through.

Namine looked down to the dog in her lap, lightly running her hand over the dog's fur. "You better go tell everyone," she whispered. She didn't like being left alone so soon after what happened, but it couldn't be helped. If Riku didn't tell the others soon, then it could put the worlds in jeopardy. She wasn't going to be selfish with Riku and keep him with her just because she was scared.
Riku looked up at Namine at that, nodding slightly. She was right, he did need to go. But he didn't exactly want to leave her alone, even if she was with his parents. Jafar came here once; he could do it again.

Namine lightly rubbed Jazz's ear, catching Riku's motion out of the corner of her eye. Thankfully, their other friends were only on two other worlds, so it would be easy to inform them about what was going on. This was what was best for everyone. Everyone but Namine.
Riku pushed himself up from his seat. "I'll be back soon. My parents will be here if you need anything," he said softly. And Jasmine. He knew she would do her best to keep anyone that was a threat away from Namine.

Namine nodded faintly, looking over at Riku when he was standing up. "Be careful," she said quietly. It would be dangerous out there, and she didn't really expect him to be back soon even if he said he would be. His duty would keep him away.
Riku nodded a little, humming softly before he turned around and started out of the room. His first stop would be Twilight Town, and then Radiant Garden. The former was closer anyway.

Namine watched Riku go before she looked back down to the dog on her lap, the girl lightly petting her. Stay with me for a while? the brunette silently requested. She didn't want to be alone when she was still scared.
Riku told his parents he had somewhere to be, but he didn't give specifics. They were confused and worried enough, but his mother did express concern. He just said he knew someone in town, but he actually left, heading for Twilight Town. He was sure Roxas would hurry back to Namine's side when he heard what happened.

In Radiant Garden

A few hours passed since their initial arrival, and Sora didn't have time to look for Aqua to help him out with getting the people settled. So it was just him and Leon, and since Leon was the quiet type, it was up to Sora to do most of the talking to the people. It took hours to get it done, but eventually, all the people were in temporary homes and knew where to find food and clothes in the marketplace. The brunet walked away from the last house he put people into, Leon having left a little while ago. He ruffled his hair and looked down at the ground, wondering where Kairi lived here. He needed to see her.

Radiant Garden had been beautifully restored over the last few years, since Sora had his last journey alongside Donald and Goofy and the Organization was a threat. Kairi found herself actually remembering some things about her childhood as she strolled through one of the gardens, some flowers blooming already. Leon and the others did a wonderful job with restoring the place to what it used to be, but that didn't mean it was completely radiant; she missed her home, the Islands. Sora, and Riku. Her family. She was alone here, even if Aqua was with her most of the time.

Sora shoved his hands into his pockets, looking up and then stopping when he saw a garden. But what caught his eye wasn't the flowers; it was the girl walking among them. His heart led him to her without him even realizing it. He stood by in stunned silence, so happy to see Kairi but so sad too. He was here for the wrong reasons, and he was weary about it all.
Kairi sighed softly, kneeling down next to a bunch of flowers and reaching forward, grabbing one and plucking it out of the ground. She brought it to her nose and caught the scent, which was lovely. This place was lovely, but her heart wasn't in it. Her heart wasn't even here. It was with the boy she loved, the one who had her heart for as long as she could remember. But he was millions of miles away, and she wouldn't see him for a long time.

"...Kairi," Sora finally said, his voice soft when he called out to her. But he was sure that she could hear him, since he wasn't too far away from her. She was beautiful, surrounded by flowers and all, but...He couldn't ignore the sorrow that lingered from the destruction of his home. But seeing her helped him remain composed.
Kairi blinked, wondering if she was just imagining that voice. But she lifted her head, and that was when her grip on the flower loosened and she dropped it. "Sora?" she said softly in disbelief, standing. She wasn't just imagining this, was she?

Sora couldn't help but smile weakly despite his sorrow, the boy lifting a hand and ruffling the back of his spiky head like he always did. "Took you long enough to notice," he joked softly. He had been standing there for a few minutes.
Kairi smiled softly, linking her hands behind her back a little as she nodded. "I've been daydreaming a lot lately," she said in her own defense. Ever since she left, she never stopped wondering what could have been happening if she stayed.
  • Author
"'Lately'?" Sora repeated with an arched brow. "You always daydream." And he always managed to catch her whenever she was in the middle of it. Whenever they were separated and he came back to her, he caught her daydreaming.
"Mm," Kairi hummed softly, staying where she was, a patch of flowers separating her and Sora. He was right; she did daydream a lot. It was just a part of her that would never get taken away. There were too many what-ifs right now anyway that she couldn't help it.
