Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Sora glanced down at the patch separating him from Kairi, the teen wordlessly taking a few steps back away from it. But that was only so that he could get some momentum before he jumped over it. He ran the few steps forward and jumped over the patch, landing on the path a few feet away from Kairi without stumbling or getting off balance.
Kairi turned her head, her soft smile growing when Sora was closer. He always did like to do something out of the ordinary, whether it was to impress her or not. She missed him, a lot, over the past week. Life was really difficult without him.

Sora saw the look that Kairi was giving him, and he couldn't help but smile weakly. He hadn't jumped to show off; he had done it because it was the quickest way to get to Kairi. She probably didn't realize it yet, but he wasn't in the best shape after standing by the sidelines and watching his world get turned to ice.
Kairi turned toward Sora more fully, keeping her hands linked behind her back as she approached him. Her pace was calm, but her heart was skipping beats at just the sight of him. He was glorious to her, even after only a few days.

Sora wordlessly opened his arms to Kairi, a faint smile still on his lips. He was happy to see her, and in a way, he was glad she was sent away before the Islands froze over. He would have been so worried if she was there, and it wasn't a sight he wanted her seeing. It was devastating.
Kairi unlinked her hands and lifted her arms, wrapping them around Sora's neck as she stepped into his embrace. She had wanted his arms around her for the last few days, and even though it could be considered pathetic, she had to remember that she was thrown from her home and hardly got to say goodbye. Kairi had been torn from the ones she loved, especially Sora.

Sora wrapped his arms around Kairi, his embrace gentle. He looked down at her, glad to finally have her in his arms again. This was all that he wanted the past few days, though he wanted something new now as well: He wanted his home back, and he wanted Kairi with him. He never wanted to be apart from her; he needed her.
Kairi missed this, her eyes falling shut as she took in the feeling of Sora's warmth. She hadn't asked why he was here yet, and she wouldn't until it felt right. At the moment, all they needed was silence.

Sora lifted one of his hands and wordlessly started running it over Kairi's hair, his sad blue eyes eventually falling shut as he lowered his head. What was going to happen now? He was out of a home, and his parents weren't on this world. And the other worlds were probably in danger too. No matter what the case, he couldn't stay with Kairi. No matter what happened, he would lose.
For the first time in what felt like forever, Kairi experienced emotions other than her own; Sora's. "Hey," she said gently, concern in her voice as she pulled back, her hands moving to Sora's shoulders. "What's wrong?"
  • Author
Sora set his hands on Kairi's waist when she pulled back, and though he opened his eyes, he looked down and over at the ground. He didn't know how to respond, having not thought about how he would explain it all to Kairi. But he felt like she should be sitting for the news. He glanced over to the side, seeing a bench. "Let's sit," he suggested quietly without looking up at her.
Kairi's eyebrows furrowed slightly, but she nodded nonetheless. She let her hands slide away from Sora's shoulders, releasing him. Sit? Wasn't that usually something to do for bad news?

Sora took one hand away from Kairi's waist but moved the other to her lower back, gently leading her to the bench. They reached it less than a minute later, and when they did, he took his hand back. He leaned forward on his seat, clasping his hands together as his elbows rested on his legs. How was he going to do this?
Kairi set her hands in her lap, leaning forward slightly to try and see Sora's face. "...Sora?" she prompted softly. What was going on? He was starting to scare her. It wasn't Riku, was it? Did something happen?
  • Author
Sora kept his position on the bench, looking down at the ground. "Destiny Islands was attacked by Hades earlier today," he informed Kairi softly. But that wasn't everything, not even close. It was the Ice Titan that did the real damage.
Kairi blinked, her eyes widening a little. "What?" she said softly, not able to keep it inside. Hades? How did he attack the Islands? Was everyone alright?
  • Author
"He brought a huge monster made of ice with him," Sora elaborated further, his voice still quiet. "...It froze the entire world, and now, all the people are evacuated to other safe havens. I came here bringing a lot of the people to safety." That was why he came.
Kairi's lips parted, but she didn't have anything to say. Not this time. She turned her head to look forward, her eyes finding a patch of flowers ahead. The Islands....was gone? Frozen? Uninhabitable?
  • Author
Sora hung his head, eyes shutting. "We did everything we could to protect it," he said softly, referring to the world. "But we failed." The Ice Titan was too strong. He failed to protect his home from the Darkness.
Kairi pressed her lips together, just staying still and silent. The home she once had, the one she hoped to go back to... That wish was impossible now, and simply a wish, not something that could truly happen. Destiny Islands wasn't home anymore, was it?
  • Author
Sora stayed where he was, not finding any more words to speak. He was devastated, and Riku must have been too. But Riku was better at coping with this kind of stuff than he was; Riku didn't let his emotions get to him. Sora did.
"...Everyone's okay?" Kairi asked, keeping her gaze on a blooming flower as she finally found her voice. The Islands only consisted of things. They could be replaced. But people...they couldn't be.
  • Author
Sora nodded faintly, keeping his eyes shut. "I'm pretty sure we got everyone evacuated," he responded softly. The mayor had overseen that, and he was positive everyone was there. So all the Islanders must have escaped.
"Good," Kairi said softly, nodding a little. Everyone was safe, that was what mattered. Even if their home wasn't there anymore...destroyed... I guess this really is home then.
  • Author
Sora nodded a little as well, not knowing Kairi did the same. It was good, and he was glad and all, but...It was so hard, seeing his home destroyed like that. He thought he was strong enough to protect his home, but he really wasn't. And that killed him inside.
