Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Kairi lifted her hand closest to Sora, setting it on his arm near her. "I guess, for now, this is home..." she said softly, speaking for him. Radiant Garden wasn't her home just for now; it was permanently. But if the Islands could be restored, Sora and the others could go back.

Again, Sora nodded faintly. "For you," he agreed softly. "But my parents are in Traverse Town; once this settles down, I guess I'll live with them." So no matter what, he and Kairi would still be apart. And they'd both be apart from the beach they loved.
Kairi lowered her gaze to the cobblestone beneath their feet, though she did keep her hand on Sora's arm. "Oh." That was all she could say. He would be going to Traverse Town? They...would be apart again?

"First though, we have to take care of Hades," Sora declared softly. He would pay for what he did to their world. And then once he was out of the way, Sora would do everything he could to try to save his world. He would never give up on that goal, even if it took him his whole life.
Kairi pulled her hand away from Sora's arm, putting it back in her lap. "What're you going to do?" she asked softly, turning her head a little to look at him as he sat beside her. Did he have anything in mind?

Sora shook his head softly, opening his eyes to look at the ground. "I don't know." And he couldn't think straight long enough to come up with a plan. He could only hope one of the others could come up with something.
"...Maybe Aqua could help," Kairi said softly, trying to help Sora figure this out. Aqua had been busy helping Leon and the others, but Kairi could tell that she missed Sora and everyone from the Islands. She would be willing to offer her own assistance.

Sora nodded faintly, glancing up at the sky and seeing that it was getting darker. "I'll talk to her," he said softly. "...Try not to worry too much, Kairi." There was nothing she could do in this situation as far as he knew, so she shouldn't have worried over it all the time. This was her new home, and she had to get used to life here.
Kairi focused forward at the words, slowly nodding. "Right," she agreed softly. But...she couldn't help it. It was natural for her to worry about the people and the home she cared about. It was in her blood.

Sora stood up in front of the bench, turning slightly to look at Kairi. He set a hand on her shoulder lightly before finally looking at her face, seeing that she was taking this news better than he would have expected. He thought she might have cried over it, but she was stronger than he was even if he didn't cry...yet.
Kairi looked up at Sora, though she couldn't tell what he wanted or what he was thinking just by looking at him. She could feel what he was feeling, and that told her he was sad. But she knew that the moment he told her of the Islands. It was...devastating.

"You should get home before it gets too dark," Sora finally said, voice still soft. He didn't want her out here by herself at night, the teen naturally protective of her.
Kairi nodded a little, and she pushed herself up from the bench, feeling Sora's hand slide from her shoulder. But she caught something moving behind him, at first mistaking the figure for Aqua. But it was... "Riku!" she cried, a smile gracing her lips. He waved, having just entered the garden. What was he doing here?

Sora blinked at Kairi's happy call, the brunet turning around to see that his best friend really was here. How hadn't he heard him coming in? He should have been more on guard. Regardless, he lifted a hand, faintly waving. He hadn't expected to see him so soon.
Riku nodded to Sora, his hand already down from the wave he gave Kairi. He started down the path, not jumping over the flowers like Sora would have done. He heard footsteps and looked up, seeing Kairi running to him. He met her halfway and caught her in a hug that only a big brother could provide, or at least someone that was like a sibling. "Hey," he greeted, smiling faintly. Riku couldn't exactly find a true smile in all of this chaos.

Sora stayed where he was, stuffing his hands into his pockets as he silently looked at Riku and Kairi. The trio was back together, but the circumstances weren't good. Not at all.

Kairi pulled out of the embrace, staring up at her taller friend. "What're you doing here?" she asked, not expecting to see him at all. "Are you staying here too?" She hoped at least one of them would be with her... She felt so alone.

"Uh," Riku said at first, lifting his hand to the back of his head. "No, but I'm not exactly here on good circumstances either." He had some bad news. Really bad news. He looked to Sora then, lowering his hand from his head. He needed to hear this.

Sora caught the look that Riku was giving him, and he overheard the conversation from where he stood. He wordlessly started over, stopping by his girlfriend and best friend. "What's up?" he asked the latter, eyebrows furrowed slightly in seriousness.

"Jafar showed up in Traverse Town just after everyone got settled in," Riku said, his expression grave at the sight of Namine being...tortured by him. "He messed with Namine's head."

"Namine," Kairi said, her eyes widening at the girl that was like her sister. "Is she alright?" She couldn't help but ask the question, worried for her best friend.

"She's fine," Riku said, his aqua eyes finding Kairi. "Just a little dazed. But...the spell he casted on her caused her to lose her voice a little. He didn't finish it when I showed up, so he only got so far."

  • Author
Sora nodded slightly, frowning. "What did he want?" he asked. He thought Hades was the big enemy here, but now Jafar was showing up to cause chaos too? And to Namine? What did she do to deserve that?
"Turns out that everyone getting separated wasn't a coincidence," Riku said, looking at Sora now. "Jafar and Hades planned it this way. They wanted to get rid of the Light on the Islands so enough Darkness could get in to destroy it." He saw Kairi's eyes soften in sadness and fear, but there was more to it than that. "He told Namine the whole story, thinking he could get her to keep quiet with a stupid spell. It didn't work, obviously, because she told me everything."
  • Author
Sora furrowed his eyebrows at that, his hands curling up by his sides. So he just wanted to torture her? He always knew Jafar was cruel, but this was ridiculous. "Does he realize she spilled everything?"
Riku shook his head. "I don't think so. He didn't stick around to see if the spell took full effect," he explained. "Regardless, we have the details." He crossed his arms, looking to both of his friends as he continued. "Jafar and Hades are taking over Maleficent's previous desires. They want to cover worlds in Darkness, gain more power, and eventually track down the Princesses again." Riku's eyes darted to Kairi again, seeing her frown. Of course, they weren't going to get that far in the plan. The Princesses were going to stay unharmed.
  • Author
"'Eventually track down the Princesses'?" Sora repeated. "Does that mean they're safe for a while?" Hades and Jafar were going to attack worlds before they went for the Princesses of Heart? He hoped he understood this right, because if that was the case, things were in their favor. They wouldn't have to worry about protecting the Princesses right away.
"Guess so," Riku said with a small shrug. If they were going after power first, then the Princesses would be safe. It seemed like the most logical thing to do anyway: Get more power, then go for the goal. At least that was what Riku thought.
