Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

"You got it, sis!" Snow cried, waving one hand to the guy in armor as he passed them by, zooming quickly across the grasslands. He wasn't about to get caught by some crazy psychopaths.

Riku grunted, forcing his glider to soar after Snow, keeping it closer to the ground since he was following the older man's lead. He had no idea where they were going, not knowing his way around Gran Pulse. Regardless, he would get Lightning away from Fang and Vanille.

Lightning kept her arms wrapped around Riku, though she turned her head to look behind them at Fang and Vanille. They were running towards them, but they weren't near as fast as they were on bikes. Soon, they disappeared from Light's view completely. "They'll get smart and take to the sky soon," she said, mostly to Snow. "Take us towards the caves, Snow." They'd find cover there. The beasts would be a pain, but they'd at least survive this way.
Riku caught Snow send a thumbs up Lightning's way from his spot a few feet ahead, and he turned his course to a cut in between some cliffs. The younger boy followed on his glider, keeping up with the leader of the group. It only took a minute before he saw some caves up ahead, which was obviously their destination.

Light kept her gaze on the sky while the boys focused on the destination, and she felt nervous any time she saw a flying bird. But as long as they got into the tunnels and caves, then Bahamut would be useless, and Fang and Vanille would be outmatched. They wouldn't be dumb enough to follow them in.
Snow revved his engine, his bike going even faster as he approached a wide cave straight ahead. He didn't hear or sense anything above, so he had a feeling that they were in the clear for now. He felt the heat of the sun leave his back as he entered the cool cave, glancing over his shoulder to see the kid on the vessel follow suit.

Light shut her eyes, listening to the sound of Snow's bike in the caves. "It's going to be too narrow in a minute," she declared, opening her eyes and speaking to both boys. She could judge it based on the echos she heard in the cave, her ears trained well enough she could tell the path was more narrow up ahead. "We have to walk it."
Just after Lightning spoke, Riku saw Snow spin his bike to a stop along the cave floor. He slowed his glider as well, the cave dark and echoing their movements. He was glad he had the ability to see well in the dark; it helped in rare situations like this.

Light got off Riku's glider, and when she did, she reached back and grasped her sword. She was still in the right Paradigm, so she cast two Cure spells on both herself and Snow, not sure if he was injured or not. He wasn't a complainer.

Snow climbed off his bike, saying his farewells to the Shiva Sisters before they disappeared. He turned his attention to the armored figure getting off his vessel, and he put his hands on his hips. "What's the name, stranger?" he asked, a small smirk on his face.

Riku's armor disappeared, revealing his face and regular clothing. "Riku," he replied with a nod. He'd seen Snow before, when Lightning showed him that video of the Eden Grand Prix. Snow must not have known who he was.

Light glanced behind them towards the entrance, eyebrows furrowing slightly. Even if she couldn't see well, she knew her surroundings well enough from the past to know this wasn't a place they should relax. "We're sitting ducks here," she said, walking past Riku and Snow to go deeper through the tunnel. If Fang and Vanille came in from either side, they were as good as dead.
Snow turned a little, squinting through the darkness to follow Light's figure. "What do you suggest?" he asked. He looked up at the walls surrounding them. "This place looks like cold storage to me."

Lightning didn't bother responding, the stoic soldier in her coming through. Sometimes, Snow talked too much. Didn't he remember this place? If they walked for a while, they'd come to a more open cave-like area with water. And monsters, but if they were ambushed there, they could take it.
Riku arched an eyebrow, able to see more clearly than the other two. He started after Light, glancing at Snow as he passed. The latter shrugged slightly and started following as well, only their footsteps being heard as they echoed off the cave walls.

Lightning stayed at the front of the group, trusting Snow and Riku would be smart enough to watch her back. She was silent, listening for any footsteps that didn't belong to her or the two people behind her. She didn't think Fang was stupid, but she was rash. She could have come into this area to kill her...if she knew they were here.
Riku followed Lightning through the cave, occasionaly glancing back to see Snow and the faint light of the entrance behind them. How far were they going into this thing? He was confused.

Lightning put her sword away in her case, though she was prepared to take it out if she had to. The monsters weren't around today, from what she could tell. Is this the calm before the storm? she couldn't help but wonder. But instead of focusing on that, she decided it was time to make some conversation. Even if it put them at a higher risk of being found. "How's Serah?" she asked Snow. She just ran into him earlier; they hadn't gotten a chance to catch up.
"In perfect condition, of course," Snow replied, connecting his fist to his other hand proudly. "Wouldn't have it any other way." His wife-to-be was wonderful, even if she did miss her sister. But she had plenty to keep her occupied now that her l'Cie brand was terminated.

Light smirked slightly. "You know I'd kill you myself if it was any different," she said. That may have been a bit of an exaggeration, but she threatened Snow countless times. Now, though, she was trusting him to take care of her baby sister. If he didn't, the consequences would have been severe.
"Heh, one of many motivators, Light," Snow replied with a small smile, lowering his hands to his sides. He followed her along the dirt path of the tunnel, beginning to remember this place. It hadn't been too long since he was last here, but he didn't really like thinking of the time he was without Serah.

Light only hummed, her smirk fading away in seriousness. Her thoughts went back to Fang and Vanille, and their current location. She never did like caves because the darkness was like a handicap, but her other senses made up for that in places like this. And the crystallized flames helped light things up a little too.
Riku furrowed his eyebrows a little, spotting a group of crystals that were glowing red. "So, where exactly are we going?" he asked, speaking for the first time in a while. He was a little more than lost.

"Out of the tunnels and into a more open cave," Light responded, glancing back at Riku before she faced forward again. "If we're going to be ambushed, I want it to be away from these narrow paths." And once she was sure that they weren't followed into the caves, then they could sit down and come up with a real plan about what to do next.
Riku nodded a little, continuing to follow Lightning's lead. He would let her guide him, since he had absolutely no clue what area he was in and where exactly they were heading, other than what she just told him. Whichever, he was on guard. He had to be.

After a few minutes of walking, Lightning started speaking again, only to start a conversation with Riku this time instead of Snow. "Riku, you had good timing earlier, but I'm wondering why you're here in the first place," she said bluntly, though it wasn't said with a harsh tone. She was curious.
Riku looked away from Lightning, even if she wasn't looking back at him. "Yeah, about that..." he stalled softly. There was a lot he needed to tell, and doing it during this wouldn't exactly be comfortable.
