Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Light's eyes narrowed when she saw monsters on the path ahead. "It'll have to wait till later," she said. It looked like the rest of their travels would be spent fighting monsters. She grabbed her sword and sprinted forward, cutting right through one of the lizard-like creatures before it noticed her presence.
Snow smacked his fist against his hand again, smirking darkly at the sight of the monsters ahead. "Bring it on," he murmured, running forward before he punched the monster multiple times. It disappeared afterward, though his attention went to Riku when he swung skillfully with his blade. When his own monster was gone, Snow smiled. "Not bad, kiddo. You almost rival Light."

He doesn't like being called "kiddo", Light silently thought, though she didn't say that thought aloud. "He's gotta be tough if he's going to keep up with me," she said with a slight smirk, putting her sword away and facing Riku and Snow.

Riku held his Keyblade in his hand and rolled his eyes at Light's words. "Keyblade Masters are always tough when the time calls for it," he said with a smirk of his own.

"Keyblade Master?" Snow repeated, arching an eyebrow. His gaze fell on the weapon in Riku's hand. "Is that what that thing's called?" He saw Riku nod and he smirked a little. Alright.

"Riku's been fighting battles for years now without any formal training," Light said, motioning to Riku lightly with her head as she spoke to Snow. "It's a little insulting you'd compare a trained soldier to somebody self-trained, but I'll deal." She was only joking, not really caring. Riku had natural talent, and so did she, even if she did receive training.

Snow's smirk grew a little, especially when Riku gave him a similar look. "Hey, how was a guy to know?" he said in his own defense. He approached the two, since they were closer to each other than he was. "But I gotta admit, that's not any weapon I'm used to seeing."

Riku lifted his blade a little, seeing the design of it and such. "It's one of a kind," he said softly before dismissing it. All Keyblades were different.

Just like you, Lightning thought, eyes on Riku. He was as unique as his weapon was, and that was why she was attracted to him. Her heart wouldn't be won over by just any guy. Before Riku, she hadn't shown real interest in anybody. He was definitely the only boyfriend she let get so close.

Riku felt a gaze on him and turned his head, finding Lightning. He met her eyes and held them, not wanting to look away. He hadn't seen her in a few days, and he missed her dearly because of that, but he'd been so worried for her safety. He was glad he showed up when he did, or he could have lost her forever.

Snow looked from Lightning to Riku and then back again in the silence, sensing something he hadn't exactly thought of just yet. But it hit him, causing him to smile. "You two want me to leave?" he asked.

"Nah," Light said, tearing her eyes away from Riku's and looking to Snow as a slight smirk started forming on her lips. "We'd be lost without you, Hero." But seriously, they still needed his assistance if Fang and Vanille ambushed them. Once the coast was clear and she explained to him what was going on, he was free to go. This wasn't his battle to fight, though she appreciated his help earlier.
Snow smiled widely. "Your faith is much appreciated," he said with a small nod. He had always wanted to be a hero, and he was in a sense. As long as he had a say in it, he would protect the people that were important to him. Especially Serah, and her sister.

"Hmph," Light hummed with a slight smirk, turning around and walking forward again. It wasn't too much further now, and once they were there, it'd be easy to judge whether they were followed or not. She hoped they were safe. They probably were, since Riku should have told her if he sensed the Darkness nearby.
Riku started after Lightning, Snow a few steps ahead of him as well. He hadn't known that the guy had so much strength until now, since the video he'd seen didn't exactly show that. But it could be seen easily now, especially by the build.

A minute later, the three of them entered the area that had small masses of land surrounded by water, waterfalls also in the area. It was also much better lit. But, as Lightning expected, it was full of monsters. She pulled out her sword and ran forward without a word, wanting to get this over with.
Snow shifted into his Sentinel paradigm, attracting the attention of a majority of the monsters closest to them in the area. He was glad Riku had a right mind for battle, because as Snow took the blows, he dealt his own damage to the beasts.

Light did a back-flip and changed to her Ravager Paradigm, pulling back her hand and casting Aero at the monsters that gathered. The tornado took out a lot of them, and the one that escaped the wind and ran over to her was destroyed by her sword.
Riku shot Dark Aura at a monster that ran toward him, pushing it back before he slashed at it with his Keyblade. It disappeared after a few hits, and there was only one more monster left over in this area, which Snow took care of on his own.

Light looked around the area, putting her sword away simultaneously as she looked towards the sky. She tuned out the sounds of the water and her own breathing, listening for any sign of them being followed. Nothing.
Snow looked around, remembering this place when he was traveling with the others, Fang and Vanille included. At that, he looked to Lightning, seeing that she was concentrating on something. He figured out what it was. "We in the clear, sis?"

Light kept her gaze upwards, though she felt at least Snow's gaze on her. "Think so," she responded with a small nod. She wasn't sensing a threat, and apparently Riku wasn't either, or he would have spoken up. This was a safe area.
Riku dismissed his Keyblade, nodding. "I can't smell any Darkness," he said softly. He caught Snow's look, but he ignored it. There was a lot about him Light hadn't told anyone, but she hadn't exactly been home much, so it was alright.

Lightning nodded slightly, lowering her gaze. She saw Snow's expression, but she knew she wouldn't bother explaining everything to him. He just needed to know the basics of what was going on. She took a step over and sat on a rock, an arm resting on her leg as she looked to the man who loved her sister and the man who loved her. "Guess it's time to catch each other up," she said. Riku had to tell her why he was here, and she had to tell Snow what was up with Fang and Vanille.
Riku nodded at that, his eyes on Lightning now. He didn't really want to explain it because it was so bad, and he was sure that showed on his expression. But it needed to be done; the Islands had been Light's home too.

Lightning would talk to Snow first; he didn't have as much patience as she and Riku did, though Riku was far more patient than she was. "Snow, Fang and Vanille are shells of their former selves," she said, lightly shaking her head as she looked at the person she just addressed. "They have nothing but anger and hatred...towards everything."
Snow crossed his arms over his chest, frowning at that. "Who did it?" he asked. When Light said "shell", he automatically came to the conclusion that the real Fang and Vanille were still crystal, and that somebody had to have the right amount of power to create replicas.

Light shook her head slightly, looking down towards the ground. "I'm trying to figure that out myself," she said in seriousness. "Whoever did this to them, they're very powerful. It's as if Fang and Vanille can't die." She dealt a fatal blow to one of them earlier, but they weren't even affected.
