Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

The next morning   Riku lingered in the living room as Lightning's guests talked on the sofas. It was the day after Sora and Kairi's wedding, and now that the event was over, everyone was heading ba

Riku looked away at that, at the word "death". The Lord of the Dead...the one who attacked the Islands. "It's Hades," he revealed lowly, his hands curling into fists at his sides. He was the one that created those shells, and probably with Jafar's help.

Lightning blinked when Riku spoke, the young woman lifting her head and looking at him. "What?" she asked without thought, taking a second to remember who Hades was. He was one of the villains Maleficent resurrected...with Light's help. He was responsible for this? How did Riku know that?
Riku didn't look at Lightning, instead staring at some moss on the ground. "Fang showing up wasn't a coincidence, Light. It was a set up that you, Aqua, and Kairi all left within a few days," he said lowly, his tone bitter. "Hades and Jafar planned it so they could get rid of the Light that covered the Islands."

Light furrowed her eyebrows slightly, keeping her gaze on Riku even if he wasn't looking at her. But then she looked behind him to one of the waterfalls. "Why would they want me to leave?" she asked, though she wasn't sure if she expected Riku to answer or not. "Light's only my name..." She didn't know how much Light she had within her heart, or how much Darkness. She was who she was, and that was that.
"There's Light within you regardless," Riku continued softly. "But one of the main reasons was to get to us. They wanted to make us vulnerable so it would be easier to ambush us." They did just that. Riku missed Lightning, Terra missed Aqua, and Sora missed Kairi. Their absences gave them the vulnerability Hades and Jafar needed to attack them and the Islands.

Light shifted her gaze to Riku again. "The Islands were attacked?" she asked, making sure she was thinking about this right. And because she was stupid enough to fall into a trap, Riku was vulnerable. Knowing that now, she was glad he was alright, and with her again.
Riku's fists tightened, and he finally looked to the woman he loved. "The Islands are gone," he said gravely. Their home was destroyed and no longer really "home". It was frozen and uninhabitable. "We were forced to evacuate everyone."

Light's eyes widened behind her bangs, a stunned grunt leaving her lips. The Islands were...gone? Everyone had to flee? That sounded too much like the future that she saw. And she was smart enough to realize that the Islands must have been frozen over like she saw.
Riku caught Lightning's gaze, and he only continued. "When I figured out that you were a target in this whole thing, I left," he said with a nod. "That's why I'm here." He wanted to make sure she was okay, but he nearly lost her.

Light lowered her gaze to the ground, silently nodding. She momentarily forgot Snow was with her, memories flashing before her eyes. The Islands frozen over..She thought that wouldn't happen now that things with Warp were taken care of. But she was wrong.
"We've got an idea of what they're planning, so we can still stop it," Riku said, glancing at Snow to see that he appeared interested and a little peeved. But Riku's eyes went back to Lightning. "They're picking up where Maleficent left off." Lightning surely knew what that was.

Lightning looked up at that, confused and concerned. "What do you mean?" The last thing that Maleficent tried to do was get her back as her super solder. That wasn't what Hades and Jafar were doing, right?
"They want to cover worlds in Darkness, gain power, and then go after the Princesses of Heart," Riku clarified lowly. "It's what Maleficent had in mind for the past thirteen years." Before she discovered Lightning. When Riku wasn't strong enough to help, she moved on to her. But she still didn't succeed. But now Hades and Jafar were teaming up to finish the job.

"Mm," Light hummed with a small nod. That made more sense. So all that they had to do was hunt down Hades and Jafar and kill them before they got to the Princesses of Heart. Lightning had to give up on trying to save Fang and Vanille, because they were beyond saving now.

Snow looked from Riku to Lightning, connecting the pieces. "You gonna help, Light?" he asked. It seemed that was what was implied, but what Riku said next proved him wrong.

"No," Riku said, looking to Snow. "I don't want her getting hurt." He knew Lightning was strong, but he didn't come here asking for help; he wanted to make sure she was safe.

Light instantly furrowed her eyebrows. "Of course I'm going to help," she said, ignoring Riku's comment as she nodded to Snow. Riku couldn't seriously expect her to sit by the sidelines after hearing what happened.
Riku lowered his gaze to the ground, though he heard Snow grunt in response. He seemed okay with it, but Riku wasn't. Jafar and Hades were cruel and nasty, and incredibly dangerous. He wanted Lightning in good hands, and his clearly weren't capable of keeping her safe. Namine was caught by Jafar when Riku wasn't around.

"I'd be putting you and Serah in risk if I stayed anyway," Lightning said, pushing herself off the rock she was sitting on and speaking to Snow once again. But Riku had to realize that she had a valid point. Fang and Vanille were going to hunt her down until she was killed, because that was what they were programed to do.
"Just be sure to come back once things are settled," Snow said with a small nod. This was Light's home, where her sister was. Serah missed her, so she had to visit sometime.
  • Author
"Yeah," Lightning said with a small nod. She'd come back...she probably just wouldn't stay. Or maybe she would, since her home in Destiny Islands was gone. She'd have to think about it.
"Well," Snow said, uncrossing his arms and looking to Riku. "Better get going." He was optimistic as ever, even if the kid Light was acquainted with seemed to be the opposite.
  • Author
"You might as well head home first," Light said, shifting her gaze to Riku as she kept speaking to her future brother-in-law. "Riku's going to be stubborn and argue with me for a while." She could see it written all over his facial expression.
Snow caught Riku's look toward Lightning, and he could tell it wasn't a pleasant one. "Yeah, got it," he said. He knew the way out. "See ya later, Light." He then approached Riku, who he had to pass anyway to get out. Snow clapped him on the shoulder, a little taller than the teen. "Good luck to you, kid. Keep your chin up." He offered a smile which wasn't exactly returned, and he took his hand off Riku's shoulder before continuing on his way, leaving the area.

Light frowned at how Riku disregarded Snow, finding it a bit rude. But Riku just had his home world destroyed and came here to find her in a deadly situation, so she would give him a little grace. He didn't look like he was dealing with everything well.
Riku stared down at the ground, hearing Snow's footsteps fade away. He wished they could have met under better circumstances, since he seemed like a nice guy, but this just wasn't good for Riku. He felt Lightning's gaze on him and lifted his eyes to meet it, though he didn't speak. She knew already what he was thinking.
