Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Radiant Garden, a few days later

All the Keybladers had no choice but to randomly search the worlds for Hades and Jafar. Sora had come up empty, though, and he had a feeling all his other friends had to. If they had killed one of them, he would have found out. The brunet sighed, ruffling his hair as he walked wherever his feet led him. He wanted to check up on Kairi, to make sure she was okay. And just because he missed her.

Kairi stood in her bedroom, backed up against the wall as Jafar pointed his ugly snake-head staff at her. He was talking to her, but she couldn't look away from those glowing red eyes of the snake. Her fear was still present, but as she became more wrapped up in the trance, it faded.

"Kill him, and once you've done the deed, rid this universe of yourself," Jafar ordered slyly, a smirk on his face as this girl fell under the influence of his powers. She nodded, and he smiled even more. "Do you understand, Princess?"

"Yes," Kairi said, her eyes glazed over as her conscience left her. "I understand." The sorcerer pulled his staff away and then disappeared in a puff of smoke, laughter ringing in Kairi's ears as she stood in her same spot, not blinking or moving at all.

Sora lifted a hand, scratching the side of his head with a finger as he walked ahead. He was heading towards the residential district, so he guessed that Kairi was at her home or in the house of a friend. Aqua wasn't with her, though, since the Keyblade Master joined the search for Hades and Jafar. And besides, Kairi wasn't in danger now--all the Princesses were safe.
Kairi stood in her room, unmoving for quite a few minutes, but a voice spoke to her, influencing her next decision. A weapon, Princess, it said. Kairi moved away from the wall and walked silently out of her room. She would need a knife.

Sora arrived at the home he was sure Kairi was staying in a few minutes later, the brunet politely ringing the doorbell instead of bursting right in. Kairi wasn't expecting him, and she was probably on edge because of the threat to the worlds. He didn't want to startle her.
Kairi blinked at the doorbell, the sound snapping her out of her daze a little. But she was still under the trance's control, her feet moving toward the kitchen automatically. She approached the counter, a set of knives right there.

After waiting a minute or two and knocking on the door again, Sora felt his eyebrows furrow slightly. It felt like something was wrong. He turned the knob on the door and gently pushed it open, stepping inside. "Kairi?"
"In here," Kairi called softly, though she was sure Sora could hear her. Do not give yourself away, she thought automatically, though it wasn't her thought at all. It was someone else's voice inside her head. A dark voice, but it influenced her, and she didn't grab a weapon just yet.

Sora followed the voice to the kitchen, seeing the girl he loved standing there. "Hey," he greeted softly, stopping a few feet away. "Didn't you hear the doorbell?" He had been out there for a few minutes, but Kairi didn't come to the door. The only explanation he could come up with was that she didn't hear the doorbell.
Kairi shook her head, turning to face Sora, the knives to her right. "Sorry," she said softly. "Lost in thought." Continue with the lies.

Always daydreaming, Sora thought with a weak smile, though that smile faded when he thought he saw something in Kairi's eyes. They were...moist? "Kai?" he asked gently. "What's wrong?" Was she crying?
Kairi stared at Sora, confused. He's seeing through you! Lie! She lowered her gaze, setting a hand on the counter next to her. "Nothing," she murmured. Her heart was beating with fear, however. Her mind may have been controlled, but her heart knew the truth.

Sora took a few steps forward, closing the distance between him and Kairi as he set both his hands on her shoulders. "I know you better than that, Kai," he said softly. Something was clearly wrong, so why did she lie about it?
Kairi didn't say anything, the voice no longer prompting her to do anything. At least not right now. She lifted her gaze to Sora, and little did she know that her eyes were watering. Even if Jafar hypnotized her, her heart communicated the truth to the windows of the soul: her eyes.

Sora's eyes softened at the tears he saw, though they weren't flowing at that time. "Kairi..." he said softly, taking a small step closer to his beloved and gently wrapping his arms around her. He set one hand on the back of her head, gently bringing it to his shoulder. She looked like she needed a hug more than anything else at that moment.
Kairi wrapped one arm around Sora, but the other hand remained on the counter. The set of knives were behind Sora now, to where he couldn't see them, but they were close enough for her to grab. Do it now. Kairi lifted her hand from the counter, a message being sent through her heart. "I'm sorry..."

Sora blinked at the message he heard through his heart, his hand moving from the back of Kairi's head to her back. "What?" he asked without thought, not understanding immediately. Why was she apologizing?
"I don't want this," Kairi admitted painfully through her heart, silently grabbing a knife. "It's supposed to be you and me, forever. But...I can't change this. It's something I can't control." She pointed the knife at Sora's back, the tip ready to be inserted. A tear fell from her eye, the girl unable to conceal that bit of emotion.

Sora pulled back slightly, though his arms were still around Kairi. What are you talking about? he wanted to ask. It will be you and me forever. "Kairi?" he asked in concern, seeing that tear fall. What was going on here? Something she couldn't control...
Kairi blinked again, tears falling from her eyes. "Forgive me, Sora," she spoke through her heart. Now. She grunted, thrusting the knife into Sora's vulnerable back while he held her close, more tears leaving her eyes.

Sora grunted roughly at the sudden stabbing pain in his back, and he suddenly realized that it was a stab. He gripped Kairi's shirt at the pain, eyes squeezing shut and eyebrows furrowing over them. This was what she couldn't control...But what could cause her to do something she didn't want to--"Jafar," he gasped raggedly. He understood now. Jafar got to Kairi.
Kairi's hand around Sora gripped his shirt, feeling him do the same to hers. She gritted her teeth together and grunted again, pulling the blade out roughly, all while tears fell from her eyes like rivers. I'm so sorry, she wanted to say, but the trance wouldn't let her speak.

Sora muffled a cry of pain when Kairi yanked out the knife, the weapon scraping against some bone and causing more pain. He slowly lost his grip on her shirt and sank down to his knees in front of her, eyes still squeezed shut in pain. Jafar told Kairi to kill him...She tried to warn him, but he wasn't smart enough to figure it out.
Kairi lowered the bloody knife to her side, looking down at Sora with teary eyes. Even if they were moist, they held no emotion in them; they were blank because of the hypnotism. Such a fool, the voice inside her head said. Excellent job, Princess.
