Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Sora lifted one of his hands to grasp the one Kairi used to embrace him, his eyes going up to her face from where he knelt on the ground. "K-Kairi...?" he said, seeing the blank look behind her tears. If her task was completed, she should have snapped out of the trance the sorcerer caused. Did he...tell her to do something else?
Another tear fell from one of Kairi's eyes, seeing the way he looked up at her; the pain and the fear and the confusion. I'm so sorry, she wanted to tell him, but she couldn't speak. She tightened her grip on the knife, not responding to Sora holding her limp hand. Now it is your turn.

"Kairi?" Sora said again, his voice more urgent as his eyes darted down to the knife that she still held tightly. She didn't drop it once she stabbed him...This wasn't over yet...What was Jafar making her do now?
Kairi stepped back, pulling her hand silently from Sora's grip. She backed up a few steps and just stared at him before she lifted the knife that had just been used to harm him. She turned it so it was facing her, her eyes following the action as she gripped the knife with both hands, prepared to stab herself in the stomach. "...I love you, and I'm sorry."

Sora grunted at the sight, his pain being phased out by the sudden adrenaline that rushed into his system. "Don't say that!" he hollered without thought, pushing himself up quickly despite his injuries and closing the distance between them. This wasn't over. He lifted both his hands and pressed his thumbs against the insides of her wrists, knowing it would disarm her.
Kairi felt the pressure against her wrists, and she was forced to drop the knife. It clattered to the ground, but she only stared blankly at Sora's chest as he stood in front of her. You must not let him stop you! the voice said within her. Fight and finish the job!

Sora kicked the knife aside, sending it across the kitchen floor to the other side of the room. He kept his grasp on her, only moving it to her hands as he sank down to his knees again, also bringing her down with him. He wrapped his arms around her and held her close to him, his heart telling him this would snap her out of the trance she was in. It had to. "This is not the end," he said lowly in Kairi's ear, his arms wrapped around her tightly.
Fight! Kairi listened to the voice, squirming against Sora's tight hold. She lifted her hands and pushed against his chest the best she could, though more tears left her eyes at his words. Do not fail!

Sora clamped his jaw shut when Kairi pushed against him, but he didn't let go. He kept his head over her shoulder and his eyes shut, the teen fighting against the pain he was in so he could save the one who mattered most to him. "I know you're fighting in there," he said hoarsely to Kairi. "Don't give up." She couldn't...
"Sora," Kairi said desperately, sadly, from within her heart. She continued pushing against his chest, grunting a little as the voice influenced her to get away. But Sora's voice was reaching her conscience, something she lost when Jafar arrived.

Sora grunted, eyes squeezing shut tighter as he also held Kairi more closely. "I love you," he silently told her. "I'm not giving up on you. Don't you give up on yourself either." He refused to let Jafar get his way with the one he loved.
He's lying, the dark voice from within the girl said. He doesn't love you. But Kairi's heart spoke to her, the combination of her own voice and Sora's heart reaching her conscience. No. He's telling the truth, she thought for herself. The realization caused Kairi's efforts to weaken, the girl no longer pushing against Sora's chest as hard, and after a moment, she went limp in his grasp, a sob of real emotion leaving her as her eyes closed. Oh no... What have I done?
  • Author
"Shh," Sora automatically said, not loosening his hold on Kairi even when she showed the first physical sign of really coming back to herself. She was crying before, but now she was limp in his body. She wasn't struggling against him, even if Jafar wanted her out of his grasp. She was winning her fight.
Kairi's face rested in Sora's shoulder, another sob leaving her when she heard the dark voice again. It told her to stop being weak and to stand against Sora, but she couldn't do it. She just couldn't.

Sora winced at his aching wound, and the blood he felt leaving him. This was a critical wound, but he couldn't cure himself now. He had to save Kairi first. He leaned his head so it was against the top of hers, eyes still shut and eyebrows furrowed. But Kairi remained secure in his arms the whole time. Nobody would hurt her, not even herself.
Kairi sucked in a breath, feeling Sora continue to hold her. But...she just... "What have I done?" she sobbed, heartache in her voice. "What have I done?" She stabbed him, with a knife that was on the other side of the room...

"You fought back," Sora declared softly, though the pain he was in came across in his voice. "That's what you did." And he was proud of her for overcoming the magic of the powerful sorcerer. She won against him.
"I hurt you..." Kairi cried into Sora's shoulder. "You're dying because of me." She stabbed him when he was vulnerable, and her heart had been aware of it all along. It was breaking at the thought, the truth.

Sora shook his head softly, pulling back a little from the embrace he held Kairi in. "I'm not dying that easily," he said softly, opening his eyes as he kept one arm around Kairi. The other was closer to his side, and he summoned Oathkeeper to his grasp. He had some magic; he could at least stop the bleeding.
The voice in Kairi's head was gone now, and she turned her head against Sora's shoulder so her cheek was pressed against it. She saw Oathkeeper, and she lifted her hands to grip Sora's shirt in front of her. He could heal himself...

Sora glanced over at the weapon before shutting his eyes, pulling up the last bit of magic he had within him after a few days of running around looking for Jafar and Hades. He felt the small spell wash over him, healing the outside of the wound but not correcting the damage done. But he could deal with pain, and he wouldn't die of blood loss now. He would survive.
Kairi cried silently as she watched Sora's body briefly glow a faint green, and she knew that the Cure spell treated him. And hopefully it did a considerable job with the damage. She closed her eyes, another tear trickling down her damp cheek. I'm so sorry.

Sora summoned away the weapon, lifting that hand to the side of Kairi's face that wasn't on him. He gently wiped at her tears, knowing that he'd have to tell her that they weren't out of the woods yet. Something told him that Jafar put another enchantment on Kairi, or at least on the knife. This didn't feel like a normal stab wound that he could heal with a simple Cure spell.
Kairi felt Sora wipe at her tears, and his gentleness caused her to feel even more guilt. "I'm sorry," she apologized weakly. She couldn't believe she had been so vulnerable to that man. She let him nearly kill the only boy she loved.

"It's okay," Sora whispered to Kairi, continuing to run his thumb over her cheek. The situation itself wasn't, but Kairi did the best she could to fight back against Jafar. He knew that, and he would gladly forgive her for this. She wasn't truly at fault for anything.
