Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

The next morning   Riku lingered in the living room as Lightning's guests talked on the sofas. It was the day after Sora and Kairi's wedding, and now that the event was over, everyone was heading ba

Riku's eyebrows furrowed instantly. "What?" he demanded lowly, his tone showing his anger already. Jafar showed his face here too? What'd he do this time?

Kairi lowered her gaze to the ground at the mention of that man's name, her heart skipping a beat instantly. But a switch was suddenly flipped within her mind, and she felt...different. It confused her, but what was happening in the room distracted her.

"He hypnotized Kairi so she'd attack me, but she was strong enough to break through the spell...after Jafar already used her to hurt me," Sora said quietly, keeping his gaze downward. That was basically all there was to it.
Kairi instantly felt the weight of someone's stare against her, but she didn't look up to see who it was. She kept her position next to the door, hating the thought of what she'd done to the person she loved most in all the worlds. But it's too late, Princess. The deed is done.

Sora looked back up at Riku, though he was looking over at Kairi. "...The wound wouldn't heal with a normal Cure spell. There must have been some kind of enchantment behind it." That was the only explanation he had.

Riku turned his head to look back at Sora, and then he nodded. "Makes sense. Jafar doesn't exactly make things easy," he agreed softly. He was frustrated, though. First Namine, then Kairi. And Sora too. Who would be next?

No he doesn't, Kairi wanted to say, but she couldn't exactly find her voice. The dark voice she just heard, inside her head. She knew it. It was the one that told her to hurt Sora.

"I'm good with wounds," Lightning finally said, pushing herself away from the wall and starting over to Sora. "Let me take a look." A spell may not have worked, but she knew how to treat wounds without magic, since when she was a soldier, she didn't have the ability to use magic.
Riku let his eyes trail Light's movements, watching her make her way to Sora. She was right; she was good with injuries. He would know, since she helped get a bullet out his arm in the past.

Sora nodded slightly to Lightning, carefully taking off his vest. He'd have to take off his shirt, too, since the wound was in his lower back. He looked towards the door, seeing how Kairi almost looked sick. "Kairi?" he called in concern.
Kairi nearly snapped out of her daze at the call, but she closed her eyes when the voice spoke to her again, its words hurting her. No, listen to me now, Princess. Your duty has yet to be completed. The girl opened her eyes to stare at the floor, wanting nothing more than to leave. But she couldn't. What if Jafar showed up?

It's happening again, Sora quickly realized, pushing himself up from the seat. He grunted at the harsh pain in his back, but it didn't stop him from walking over to the girl who was still by the door. "Kairi," he said again, his voice more firm as he set his hands on her shoulders. She had to snap out of it...

Kairi stared at the ground, not moving and not looking up at Sora, even if she could see him standing in front of her and feel his hands on her shoulders. You must heed my every word, Kairi. If you don't, the consequences will be severe.

Riku lifted an eyebrow, looking over at his friends. What's going on? he thought instantly. What was wrong?

"Darn it," Sora mumbled, though it wasn't directed at Kairi. Jafar..."Jafar's messing with her head again." He said the latter to Riku and Lightning, though his eyes never left the girl in front of him. He just winged it the last time he had to snap her out of the daze...Would just being with her make Jafar leave her alone again?
Riku's eyebrow lowered along with the other, his lips forming a firm line. "Snap her out of it," he told Sora instantly, stepping away from the couch a little. If Kairi managed to hurt Sora the last time, what would she do this time around?
  • Author
"I got lucky last time," Sora said, shaking his head slightly. "I don't know for sure how to get him to leave her alone." Would holding her be enough? What was Jafar even telling her? It was probably the same order as before, the one that said to kill him and then...He furrowed his eyebrows, lightly shaking Kairi. He couldn't let her fulfill either command, especially not the latter.
Kairi grunted a little at the shake, closing her eyes. "Let me go," she pleaded, lifting her hand to Sora's chest. Yes, get farther away from the hero. You will not need his help for your next task.

Sora didn't let Kairi go as she said, the feeling in his heart telling him not to. He didn't know what to do except...He stepped closer and wrapped his arms around her again like he had earlier, his hold secure but gentle with the one he loved. If this didn't snap her out of it, he didn't know what would.
Kairi's eyebrows furrowed at the embrace, feeling herself be crushed against Sora's chest. She kept her eyes closed, not knowing what to do. Fight him. The farther from him you are, the easier this task will be. She knew what the voice was talking about; it was telling her to separate herself emotionally from Sora, but... I can't...she thought weakly.

Sora looked down at the girl he loved, aware Riku and Lightning were still in the room. But he was focused only on the girl he held in his arms, the girl he swore to protect. "I love you," he silently told her.

Kairi grunted at the words, unable to respond for the moment. She loved him too, very much. But...Jafar...

Riku took another step forward, his hands balling into fists. What was this? What was Jafar doing to her right now? He hated seeing Kairi so...vulnerable.

Lightning watched from her place by the couch, seeing Sora continue holding Kairi but lift a hand off her back to run it over her hair. She glanced away at the show of affection for some reason, noticing the blood on the back of Sora's shirt. Wow...That wound must have been pretty bad.
Listen to me, now, the voice continued. Push him away. You don't need him. Kairi furrowed her eyebrows more, one of her hands still resting against Sora's chest. She gripped the fabric over his chest, fighting to find her voice. "...Stop it," she whispered hoarsely. To Jafar, not Sora.
  • Author
"Keep fighting back," Sora silently encouraged, continuing to run his hand over Kairi's hair. He felt like collapsing from the wound, but he wouldn't as long as Kairi was like this. She was depending on him, to keep her from doing something she would regret. He failed to do that before, but he wouldn't fail this time.
"Don't, Sora," Kairi said softly, but not because Jafar told her to. He was hurt. He didn't need this. He didn't need her problems getting in the way of his health.

Sora silently shook his head, figuring it was something else Jafar put in her head. Jafar was trying to get him away because he knew Sora could make him lose control of Kairi. And that was exactly why Sora wouldn't move away.
Kairi felt the head shake and she opened her eyes slightly to stare down at his shoulder. "Please," she begged softly. "I mean it." She pushed lightly against his chest. She didn't want Sora to let go; she never wanted that. But, he was in pain. She could handle this...for now. She had to.
