Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Sora was forced away a little because of the push, though he noticed it was gentle. He set his hands on her shoulders, looking down at her face. "Kairi?" he said softly in wonder. Was she really...pushing him away? This was what she wanted?
Kairi gripped Sora's shirt still, but she didn't look up at him. "I'm sorry," she said softly. She didn't want him to see her like this, or to feel like he had to do this every time this happened. "Just...let Light help you." Kairi would be alright.

Sora realized then that Kairi was sincere; she was...herself. She broke free from Jafar again! But he didn't have time to celebrate that, his eyes staying on her. "But...I want to help you," he said softly. He needed help from Lightning, but Kairi was more important than he was.
"Just do it," Kairi said firmly, her gaze on Sora's chest still. She could handle herself for a few minutes, which was how long it would take for Light to wrap his wound. She just...needed a minute.

Sora grunted slightly, surprised by Kairi's semi-harsh tone. But...He knew she was in control of herself now, and he didn't want to make things harder on her than they already were by arguing, so... Sora released her, turning around and starting towards the couch where Lightning was waiting.
Kairi lowered her hand to her side when Sora walked away, and she waited a minute before lifting her head. Riku was looking at her, and Lightning too for a second. But she turned and started across the room and to the hallway, going to her room. She needed a minute.

Sora saw Lightning motion for him to sit back down where he was, and he obeyed without protesting, cautiously taking off his shirt. It caused some pain in his wound, and when he glanced over his shoulder at Lightning, he saw her frowning. He didn't get a chance to ask her what was up before she turned around and went to the kitchen to go get something. A rag?
Kairi shut her door behind her when she entered her room, going over to her bed and collapsing on it. She tucked her arms under her pillow as she lie on her stomach, her face buried in it for the moment. Why was Jafar still within her? Was it because she didn't kill Sora? Because she wasn't dead herself?

Light returned to the room with a wet rag, kneeling down by the couch and wiping it around the wound to get it clean. She heard Sora grunt in pain, but if it was this bad already, then it would be torture when she had to spray the disinfectant spray. If this wound wouldn't heal with magic, they at least needed to make sure it wouldn't get infected with something nasty.
Riku leaned against the back of the couch, watching Lightning work in silence. He couldn't help but worry over Kairi, too. Was it Jafar's stupid staff again? If that was it, they had to destroy it, or get rid of Jafar completely. He didn't like his friends being manipulated.

Light finished cleaning the wound in a few minutes, hearing grunts and cut-off groans because of the pain. But this was what needed to be done. She finished wrapping some cloth around Sora's lower torso, trusting it would keep the wound from being exposed.
Riku furrowed his eyebrows a little, his eyes on his best friend. "Need any painkillers?" he asked softly. He would go get some; he was sure Kairi had some in the house.

"It would probably help," Sora confessed, grimacing. But depending on the medication, it probably would make him fall asleep. Could he really afford to fall asleep at a time like this?
Riku nodded once and pushed himself away from the couch, walking across the living room and to the hallway. He found the bathroom easily and looked in the medicine cabinet. There wasn't much to choose from, but there were basic medications that would help. He grabbed the one he thought would work best and left the bathroom, holding the bottle in his hand.

Sora put on his shirt once Lightning finished bandaging him up, the teen thanking her for her help. The pain was still there, but at least now it wouldn't get infected. He shrugged on his jacket, wondering how Kairi was doing as he did so.
Riku joined everyone in the living room again, everyone except for Kairi. It was quiet in her house, and he wondered what she was doing back in her room. But it wasn't really any of his business, so he handed Sora the painkillers and left his thoughts alone.

Sora accepted the painkillers, nodding to thank Riku. He didn't bother getting up for water, the injury making him want to stay still. He wished he could lean back against the couch and rest, but that would cause more pain.

"You should lay down on your stomach so you're not straining your back muscles," Light told Sora after he took the pills, the young woman moving to sit down on another couch in the room. He didn't look like he liked that suggestion, though. He was still worried about Kairi; it was obvious even to Lightning, who didn't know him extremely well.

Riku stood where he was near the two, his arms crossing over his chest. Because his hair was shorter, he could see clearly, which meant he could see the worry already expressed on Sora's face. It was Kairi.

Sora looked up at Light and saw her look, the look that said he better do what she say. Feeling a bit intimidated, he lowered himself to his stomach on the couch, glancing away from the girl and thinking about the girl he loved. She didn't deserve to go through what she was experiencing...
Riku moved to be next to Lightning, though he didn't sit down. He returned to his spot behind the couch and leaned his arms against it, the boy behind Lightning from where she sat. He looked to Sora before looking down at the woman he loved, knowing that if he were in Sora's position he would be just as worried. Kairi was precious to Sora, and Lightning was precious to Riku in the same way. This had to be hard for his best friend.

Sora looked out at the rest of the room, the side of his head resting on an arm as he blankly looked at nothing. Kairi left to be alone because she didn't want to be disturbed, but he had to know if she was doing alright. "You alright?" his heart asked, communicating with Kairi without making an audible sound.
Kairi was currently resting on her bed, her arms still tucked under her pillow as she lie on her stomach. "...I'm fine," she answered hesitantly, forcing her heart to say that for her. She was lying, because she wasn't fine, but she couldn't worry Sora. He was hurt, because of what she did.
  • Author
"...Liar," Sora responded softly. He knew that wasn't the truth; her heart gave her away. And after what happened, he knew she couldn't possibly be "fine". She was a wreck, and he couldn't help...It was torture.
Kairi didn't respond, sighing softly and closing her eyes. She fought the tears that wanted to leave her eyes, but that wouldn't do anything. Even if she cried, nothing would be solved; Jafar was still haunting her. She could feel him lurking in her mind, and it was awful.

"...Riku, can you check on her? Please?" Sora nearly begged, not looking over at his best friend. He could feel how badly Kairi was hurting, but she would scold him if he put her emotional well being before his own physical health. That had been an issue in the past, so he knew not to push it now. If he couldn't check on her, Riku could, right?
