Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Riku nodded a little, putting his hands on the back of the couch. "Yeah," he said, then walking around the couch and leaving the room. He wasn't sure what to expect from Kairi, since she wasn't being herself, but he could handle it.

Light saw Riku leave out of the corner of her eye, and she stared at Sora after he was gone. This kid was always so happy when he was on the Islands, but more serious when it came to taking care of business with the worlds and the one he loved. Sort of like Riku.
Kairi heard a knocking against her door, immediately suspecting Sora to be the one outside her room. But when she heard Riku ask if she was alright after he poked his head in, she opened her eyes to see him walking toward her, the door already shut. Did Sora send him?

Those boys need their Island, Lightning thought, pushing herself up from the seat she was on. She wanted to go check out the Islands and see if there was some kind of way to get them back to their former state. "Tell Riku I'm going out," she said to Sora, who gave her a confused look. "I have to see something." The brunet nodded slightly to her before she walked out, leaving the house and starting to walk towards an area where she could summon Odin.

Riku stood next to Kairi's bed, staring down at her as she refused to look at him. "Kairi," he prodded firmly. She hadn't answered his question: Was she okay?

"I feel weak, Riku," Kairi finally admitted, keeping her gaze on the wall opposite her. "No Darkness should get inside me, ever. But Jafar's still in my head." She closed her eyes, fighting the tears again. "I just don't understand."

Light was thankful she didn't run into any of the other Keybladers on her way out, knowing they would question what she was doing and why. She was going to try and stop the future she saw from ever happening by trying to unfreeze the Islands. Somehow. She summoned her Eidolon and got onto him, using a portal to get out of the world and head to her destination. How long would it take for Riku to notice she was gone?

Riku frowned a little, not liking to hear that. But... "Jafar's complicated, Kairi. He finds faults in the strongest logic," he said softly. He saw his friend shake her head and he knelt down in front of her, lifting his hand to her arm. "You have to stay strong. Your life depends on it."

Kairi opened her eyes, meeting Riku's instantly. "I know that, but...it's so hard." She needed the strength of others to help her, but she couldn't get near the boy that gave her the most courage. I nearly killed him, she thought, unaware that the thought transferred through her heart.

Sora grunted at the thought he knew he wasn't meant to hear, his eyes squeezing shut. Kairi was under Jafar's control when she did what she did; she was being too hard on herself. And Sora was fine anyway. Like he told her, he wasn't dying that easily. Jafar should have known that.

Riku nodded a little, not sure what to say at first, but soon he found the words. "You've got a lot of people behind you on this," he said softly. "We'll back you up. Jafar won't take you from us that easily."

Kairi nodded a little against her pillow, staring down at her best friend's hand on her arm. "Thanks, Riku," she said faintly. Their support did mean a lot to her, but she didn't want to hurt anyone else.

Sora wondered how things were going with Riku and Kairi, though he assumed it wasn't good because of the message Kairi conveyed. He would have to wait and see, but...the pain medicine was making him drowsy. He wanted to sleep.

"...Are you tired?" Riku asked after a few moments of silence, taking his hand away from Kairi's arm. She must have been exhausted after all that occurred lately, especially today. Emotionally, anyway.

Kairi nodded a little against her pillow again, and she smiled weakly at Riku when he said he would leave her be. "Tell Sora not to worry," she called right before he left, but she didn't exactly get a response. Riku left a second after, and Kairi was left alone in her room again.

Sora had his eyes shut and breathed softly, his body still tense because of the injury. But laying down had been a good idea, so Light was right to tell him to do that. He wondered where she went and what she had to see, but he knew it was none of his business.
Riku left Kairi's room and walked into the living room, though he furrowed his eyebrows when he noticed someone was missing. "Where's Light?" he asked Sora, stopping next to his friend's position on the couch. Where did she go?

Sora opened his eyes tiredly, glancing over and seeing Riku. "She left. Said there was something she had to see." He shrugged slightly, though he regretted the movement as soon as he did it. Ouch.
Riku furrowed his eyebrows more at the reply, though he looked toward the window. Something she had to see? What could that have been?

Lightning arrived in Destiny Islands then, going to the play Island. And when she was there, she couldn't help but shiver. It wasn't just because of the cold or because it was snowing; it was because of what she saw. This...was just like the future she saw. Almost exactly.
Riku sat himself down on the other couch in the room, crossing his arms as he stared at the coffee table in the room. Light would be back... She was only in Radiant Garden, right?

Sora glanced over at Riku, feeling some of his grogginess disappear. "Everything okay?" he asked, speaking generally. Things with him and Lightning seemed odd, but Riku himself probably wasn't doing good with the destruction of the Islands. And how was Kairi?
"Kairi's fine for right now," Riku said softly, glancing up at Sora briefly. "She's going to sleep." Which was good for her, considering how tormented she probably was.
  • Author
"Mm," Sora hummed with a small nod. That was good, then. At least she could escape reality for a little while and hopefully have some peace of mind. She deserved it.
Riku nodded a little as well, though his eyes immediately dropped to the coffee table again. Where could Light have gone? It was late, and already dark. It made him worry a little, but he could trust her. Right?

Light walked across the frozen ocean, knowing that it was solid enough to walk on because that's how it was in the future she saw. And the ocean was the same as what she saw. This is so wrong... she thought. It was as if nothing changed by her coming back! What a disheartening thought. In the future, she was under the impression that she affected a lot, but apparently she didn't. This world froze whether she was here or not.
"Did Light say where she was going?" Riku asked in the silence, keeping his gaze down. He couldn't think of anything. She wouldn't go back to Cocoon because of Fang and Vanille, but that wouldn't matter since she was being hunted.

"Nope," Sora said, lightly shaking his head. "For some reason, I think she didn't want to say." That was the vibe that he got, anyway. But he could have been wrong.

Is this a sign? Light wondered, stepping onto the snow-covered ground on the mainland. Was she supposed to stay in the future? She thought coming back would solve problems, but it didn't. In fact, it would create new problems. Fang and Vanille...Were they alive in the previous future? Their spirits were only resurrected because of Lightning, weren't they? Her friends...were they suffering now?

Riku looked up at that, his eyes alert. That didn't make sense. Why wouldn't she say where she was going? They went to all kinds of worlds over the past few days and nothing exactly stood out. But the only world they didn't go to was... "She didn't," he said, frowning as he uncrossed his arms.
