Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

"Mm?" Sora hummed in question, looking up at Riku. What didn't Light do? Or rather, what did she do, because judging by Riku's statement, she did do something. And he didn't seem pleased with whatever that something was.

Light started towards the other side of the island, seeing something that she didn't notice before. Something towering in the distance. She wanted to check that out.

Riku ground his teeth together in frustration, pushing himself up from the couch. "I'll be back later," he said, striding toward the door. He opened it and shut it behind him only a second later, hitting the button on his armguard to summon his armor. Lightning...

Sora didn't even get a chance to respond before Riku left, the brunet by himself as he pondered what was going on. But he was sure Riku and Lightning would be fine; they were both strong.
Riku summoned his glider once his armor was covering him, and he traveled through the portal he summoned as well. When he was traveling outside Radiant Garden, he headed straight for his former home. Lightning went to Destiny Islands, though he wasn't sure why. Regardless, he was going to get her.

It only took Lightning a few minutes to reach the other side of the island when she decided to summon Odin again and make the trip quicker, the young woman only regretting that move because of the cold wind that made her feel numb. But she dismounted on a snowy beach on the back side of the mainland, her pale blue eyes on the thing that towered out of the water. ...What is that?
Riku saw Destiny Islands up ahead, and even from his view outside he could see the snow and ice covering his world. His jaw flexed at the reminder, and he forced his glider to go faster, the boy summoning a portal again so he could enter the world's atmosphere.

Light furrowed her eyebrows as she looked at the creature, taking a few steps closer to it. It was a monster...made of ice. And he was frozen along with the rest of the world. As long as he's frozen, the world is frozen, she thought. Was that how it worked?
Riku immediately felt the weather impact him as soon as he entered the Islands. The usually warm climate was replaced by cold temperatures. He looked down at his home, knowing that since it was deserted, he would be able to spot Lightning easily.

"Nah," Light said softly to herself. It couldn't have been that simple. Who unleashed this monster on the Islands again? Hades? And he was the one responsible for Fang and Vanille being the way they were, according to Riku. But every villain had a weakness, so maybe there was a way to unthaw the Islands again. But...How?
Riku spotted his home amidst the snow and ice, but he immediately looked away. Instead, his sight fell on the Ice Titan not too far off. He flew in that direction, wondering what that thing was still doing here.

Lightning ignored her freezing cold skin, her arms wrapped over her torso as she looked at the monster. But after a few moments, she thought she heard something. She turned her head and looked, blinking in surprise when she saw a glider. And she knew who it was instantly. Riku.
Riku caught sight of Lightning when he was closer, and he instantly jumped off his glider. He fell toward the ground from high up, grunting when he landed, one hand helping him balance while on one knee. He then stood with ease, his eyes finding Lightning behind his mask. What was she doing here?

"...Not your smoothest landing," Light said after a few moments. Riku jumped off his glider when he was pretty high off the ground, so it made sense his landing would be a little rougher. But that wouldn't have happened if he had a gravity bomb, not that he even knew what those were.
Riku didn't say anything, his hands tightening into fists. If she thought this was a time for joking, she was wrong. Lightning was being reckless, wandering off alone. As a soldier, she should have known better.

Even if Riku was still wearing a mask, Light could feel his glare on her. And she could tell he wasn't pleased, but oh well. She shifted her gaze back to the Ice Titan, though she was still thinking about Riku. What was he doing here? She hadn't left any clue to Sora about where she would be.
Riku saw Lightning look away, and he only remained where he was. "...What're you doing?" he asked lowly, not at all pleased that she was here. But why was she here? There was no reason for her to come back to the Islands.

"Looking at this thing," Light said, motioning to the monster lightly with her head. She knew that wasn't the answer Riku was looking for, but it wasn't quite false. She came because...she wanted to know how to get this world unfrozen. But she didn't know how Riku would respond to that idea.
"Seems pointless to me," Riku said, glancing up at the Ice Titan before his eyes fell on Lightning again. The monster was frozen, and there was nothing more to him. Looking at him would take only a few minutes, and he knew Lightning didn't travel all the way here just for that.

Lightning shrugged faintly, keeping her gaze on the monster even when she felt Riku's gaze on her. Maybe it was pointless, but maybe it wasn't. This thing was responsible for freezing the Islands, so maybe it held the key to unfreezing it.
Riku walked forward then, stopping behind Lightning and slightly to the side. He looked up at the Ice Titan before his eyes found the woman he loved. "The only thing you need to know is that this is what froze the Islands," he said softly, keeping his frustration hidden for now. "So now we can go."
  • Author
"Nah," Lightning said, though a cool wind blew and made her get goosebumps. "You can go if you want to." She wanted to know more about this thing so she could find a loophole and save the Islands. It was something only she could do, since in the future, nobody else had been able to do it. If anybody could do it, it was her.
"I'm not going without you," Riku said quietly, his eyes on Lightning through his helmet. Didn't she understand? He came to get her. Being here was...pointless. This place was nothing but what used to be.
  • Author
"Then you'll have to stick around for a little while," Lightning said with a faint shrug, glancing over her shoulder at Riku. "I'm not ready to leave yet." She didn't know when she would be ready, either. As soon as she found a way to set things right.
"No," Riku said lowly, his eyebrows furrowing. He reached for Light's elbow, grabbing it with one gloved hand. "We're going now." He didn't want to be here, and he didn't want her to be here either. She was being hunted.

Light unfolded her arms over her chest, frowning at Riku. "No." She wasn't leaving until she found a way to fix this. That was what she was set on doing.
