Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

"Yes," Riku said, pulling a little on Light's arm. He couldn't stay here...it was too hard. And he didn't want to leave without Light, in case Fang and Vanille showed up.

Light took a small step towards Riku when he tugged her, but other than that, she was unfazed. "Tug all you want," she said. "But it won't be that easy to force me out of this world." What was he going to do, throw her onto his glider? She wasn't going with him yet.
"You're so reckless, Lightning!" Riku hollered, his temper getting the best of him. His hand tightened around her elbow. "You came here by yourself, to a place that's abandoned while you're being hunted. Are you that stupid?"

Light's eyes had widened at first at Riku's holler, but then her eyes narrowed at his insult. She absolutely was not stupid. "I stayed under the radar when I came here," she said lowly. "Nobody noticed." She was sure of it. And besides, she wasn't planning on staying extremely long. Nobody would have ambushed her when she was here, because this was the last place they'd expect her to be.
"As if you know," Riku said with a frown, his grip still tight on Light's elbow. "There could be all kinds of traps set up here. Hades is more clever than you think." He hated the thought, but it was true. Hades knew what he was doing, and even standing beside the Ice Titan could be dangerous.

Light's eyes were narrowed at Riku's tone, and his assumption that she was underestimating Hades. She wasn't, but Riku was underestimating her. And it ticked her off. "Even if there were traps, I would have managed." She was trained to survive those types of situations.
Riku glared at Lightning from behind his helmet, just staring at her. But then he turned around, keeping his grip on her elbow as he pulled her with him. "Let's go," he said lowly. "We're going back to Radiant Garden."
  • Author
"What, are you going to pull me there?" Light asked sarcastically, letting Riku drag her a little bit. He could drag her as far as he wanted in this world, but like she said earlier, it wouldn't be so easy to get her off the world.
"If that's what it takes," Riku replied, still tugging Light along. He summoned his Keyblade to his other hand, prepared to summon his glider and leave. He couldn't stay here, and he wasn't leaving without Lightning.

Light tore her arm out of Riku's grasp, taking a small step away as she glared at him. He had no right telling her what to do. And she was sick of him bossing her around. Nobody gave her orders anymore.
Riku stopped walking when Lightning managed to rip free of his hold, and he turned around a little to look at her. "Light, let's go," he said in frustration. He was sick of this.

"I'm not done here," Lightning said. She wanted to figure out a way to fix this! This was her little brother's home, and her boyfriend's, and her friends'. She wanted them to have their home back...She wanted to change this so that she knew she could actually change the future she saw. Because if she couldn't...going on was hopeless.
"Well I am," Riku said, tightening his grip on his Keyblade. "And I'm not leaving without you. Now let's go." He reached for Lightning's arm again, wanting nothing more than to leave this frozen world. Its destruction just reminded him how much he failed, and he couldn't stand it.

Light stepped back to avoid Riku's arm, the girl glancing back at the Ice Titan. In the future, Riku sent her back because he had faith that the future would be better if she was around during the future five years. But only a week after she came back, this happened. You were wrong, Riku. I don't make a difference at all.
Riku summoned his Keyblade away, lifting his hands to his helmet in frustration. He tore it off his head, feeling the frigid air hit his skin instantly. "Lightning," he said, his aggravation coming through in his tone. Just this once, couldn't she listen to him and come with him?

"I get it," Lightning said without taking her gaze off the Ice Titan. "You can't stand being here. I can't either, but there's something I have to do." She had to set things right, or else it wasn't worth her being back in this time period. If she just sat back, then she would fail to create the brighter future the older Riku expected her to make. She couldn't let Riku down like that. She couldn't.
"And that would be?" Riku prodded, still frowning as he stared at the woman he loved. The person he cared for most. He adored her, and even though she sometimes aggravated him, he still found himself in love with her. He just wanted her to be safe.

Light's eyebrows furrowed over her eyes, her gaze staying on the monster. Riku, whether he knew it or not, trusted her to make the future brighter than what she saw it as. But the present was going down a path that would lead up to the dark future she saw. Unfreezing Destiny Islands was the only way she knew to change things for the better.
Riku's eyebrows furrowed a little, the young man holding his helmet in one hand as she stared at Lightning. Was she going to answer him? Or was he going to have to find the answer out himself?
  • Author
Light wasn't going to answer Riku's question. She really couldn't, because she didn't know exactly what to do. How could she set things right? Could she do anything right at all?
Riku's jaw flexed as he stared up at the tall Ice Titan. It was frozen in place, probably to make sure nobody came here to change the way things were. Hades' own personal guard for this world.

"You can leave now," Lightning said after a few moments, turning to look at Riku. He had no reason for staying, but she did. So she was going to stay here, because she was too stubborn not to. But Riku was probably too stubborn to leave her be.
Riku looked down at Lightning then, but upon seeing the look in her eyes, he turned his head to stare across the frozen water. "...How many times do I have to tell you?" he said stiffly. "I'm not leaving you." If he left and something happened to her, it would be his fault; he wouldn't be here to help.

"How many times do I have to tell you I'm not leaving the Islands?" Lightning asked with an arched brow. She repeated her point a few times, but Riku had done the same with his. They were both too stubborn to give in.
"Lightning...please," Riku said softly, his voice no longer as tight. He kept his gaze away from hers, able to feel the kind of look she was giving him. He just wanted to leave, but she was being too difficult!
