Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Sora kept his gaze on the snow, hearing Aqua's gentle request. He shook his head slightly, silently denying what she wanted. He couldn't talk; he hadn't spoken in days, since he first left the Secret Place. No words could describe what he was feeling anyway.
Aqua's eyes softened, the woman feeling very upset over this. Poor guy...she thought immediately, looking at what she could see of his face. Well, one thing was for sure: she wasn't going to leave him. If he didn't want to talk...that was all right. She would just sit here with him, to keep him company.

Sora wasn't too surprised when Aqua didn't protest his silence; she was probably at a loss for words too. Did she even know what happened? Did anybody? She must have known, or else she wouldn't have been there with him.
Aqua sat down completely in the snow, positioning herself next to Sora. She brought her knees up and wrapped her arms around them, both because she was comfortable this way and it was cold up here. Her eyes went over to Sora again, the woman not saying anything. She then turned her gaze forward, leaning her chin against her arms.

You shouldn't stay here, Sora wanted to say. He wasn't arguing against companionship, but he didn't want her getting sick. She was...his friend. And he didn't want any of his friends in any bad circumstances. She should have been living her life with Ven and Terra, not staying with him when he was a hopeless case.
Aqua looked out at the scenery, looking at the city that was miles off. She hadn't looked there yet, and she guessed that was a good thing. It would've taken longer to find Sora if she'd done that. But now that she found him, she wasn't sure what to do. All she knew that could be done was to be with him...even in silence.

Sora would force himself to speak, for the sake of his friend. "You shouldn't stay," he said softly, though hoarseness was still present in his voice. "You should be with Terra and Ven..." She should have been with her best friends. They were the real unbreakable trio, not Sora, Riku, and Kairi.
Aqua turned her head to look at the boy beside her, hearing his words. "...Terra and Ven know I'm here," she told Sora. "I told them I'd be back. I won't break that promise." She didn't necessarily say when she was going back, of course. It was pretty much implied that she wasn't leaving without him.

Sora stayed silent, not catching onto the implications of what Aqua said. She should have gone back right away; there was no point staying with him. As soon as she left for her new home, Sora would leave to go someplace where he could fight Heartless for a while. And if he was defeated, then...that was it. Whatever.
Aqua tilted her head a little more, getting to see more of her friend's face. "...You can't avoid this forever, Sora," she said gently. She didn't want to break it to him so bluntly, but he needed to hear it for his own sake. This was unhealthy...

Sora stayed silent once more, neither denying nor confirming what Aqua said. He didn't care if he was avoiding it. That was what he knew how to do; he always distracted himself or distanced himself from the problem when something was wrong. This was no exception.
"I know what this is about," Aqua continued quietly, remembering what he told her. "And if you won't go back for them, think of your other friends. Roxas and Namine?" She blinked once, feeling the chilly wind blow her hair back a little. "They're worried sick."
  • Author
Sora only reacted by blinking, though it was a reaction nonetheless. Roxas and Namine were actually worried? He figured they would have formed some kind of grudge against him, like Riku and Kairi had.
Aqua only kept her eyes on Sora. "Terra and Ven feel the same way, even if they're not as close to you," she revealed. She was trying to make a point, and she hoped he understood it. "...If you don't want to go back home for Riku or Kairi, then at least come back for us. We miss you."
  • Author
Sora lifted his gaze slightly, not looking over at Aqua but listening. He knew that they didn't miss this version of him; they missed the happier Sora. The one who was just like Ven in more ways than one. But...he was his own person. He wasn't Ventus, and he couldn't be happy and bright all the time because his heart did hold Darkness within it.
Aqua kept her eyes on Sora, leaning forward still as she looked at his face. She lifted her eyebrows ever so slightly, waiting for a reply of some kind. She wasn't sure whether he would agree to go with her back to the Islands or stay here...

"I lost my two best friends," Sora finally said, his voice hushed as he didn't directly respond to what Aqua said. Kairi, and Riku...both of them didn't care any more. What was the point of going back to that?
Aqua blinked, but otherwise paid attention. "How so?" she asked softly, genuinely concerned. From what she could see, both Riku and Kairi were quite worried about Sora back home. She just hadn't said anything for certain reasons.
  • Author
Sora finally looked over at Aqua, his eyes finally finding hers. "If Riku still cared, he would be the one out here," he stated. Riku had tracked him down before, but this time he stayed away. And it was because he no longer wanted to be Sora's friend. "And Kairi..." She didn't want to see him again.
Aqua kept her eyes locked with Sora's, staying quiet so she could listen. What about Kairi? Did something happen between them?
  • Author
Sora furrowed his eyebrows slightly, looking away. "She doesn't want to see me." She mistook him for somebody else, scared him half to death, and then broke his heart. He was so scared...so worried over her. But he couldn't do a thing to help.
Aqua bit her lip, turning her gaze to the snow. "...She may have said that, but I doubt that's true," she admitted, speaking her thoughts. "She and Riku seem awfully worried about you. They've barely spoken to anybody but each other this last week."
  • Author
Sora wasn't about to argue for Riku, but he was positive Kairi didn't want to see his face. "You don't know her as well as I do," he said softly, setting a hand in the snow and lightly grasping some of it. He ignored the throbbing that he felt in his arm because of his wound, his eyes on that hand.
"I don't. You're right about that," Aqua admitted softly, turning her eyes over to Sora again. "But I do know what I saw." She hadn't seen Kairi cry before, and it was heartbreaking to witness for the past few days. Of course, she wasn't going to say anything about that, not wanting to make Sora feel any worse.
  • Author
Sora stayed silent, not sure if he was prompting Aqua to continue or not. He was curious as to what she had seen, but at the same time, he was scared to find out. He had no clue what to expect from Kairi these days; she was acting unlike herself in more ways than one.
