Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Lightning silently looked away, though she did have to wrap her arms over her chest because of the freezing cold air and the snow that got heavier. She knew he wanted to leave, she just...She had to do something. Something to prove that sending her back to this time period wasn't a mistake.
Riku fought his emotions, and when he didn't get a response, he accepted it. Lightning didn't want to leave. He wordlessly lifted his helmet, placing it back over his head. He wanted to protect her, but he couldn't stay. He was weak, seeing his home this way.

Light sighed softly in defeat, briefly closing her eyes. She didn't even know what to do here, so maybe she should just leave with Riku and come back later. She turned and stepped closer to him, her expression showing defeat. She'd leave with him.
Riku looked down at Light, and seeing her expression, he automatically apologized. "Sorry," he said softly, apologizing for making her come with him and for his weaknesses. He just couldn't do it. He then turned and walked a few steps, summoning his glider.

Light didn't bother responding, not finding any words to say. When Riku walked forward and summoned his glider, she stayed back until he got on it. And then she climbed on and wrapped her arms around him, deciding to go with him instead of riding Odin. Traveling through space put too much stress on the Eidolon.
Riku lifted his glider off the ground and headed straight for the portal he summoned, leaving Destiny Islands' frigid weather behind. He made his way to Radiant Garden in silence, knowing that nothing could be said between him and Lightning. But...he felt like this disaster was tearing them apart.

Light shut her eyes and leaned against Riku on the way back, tired because the cold air of Destiny Islands got to her. It reminded her of when she got hypothermia and the Black Knight saved her. Maybe today, Riku saved her from it again. She didn't know, but she wasn't thinking positively about what happened back in that world.
Riku entered Radiant Garden again, the world still dark since it was nightfall. He landed just in front of Kairi's house and lowered his glider to the ground, though he didn't get off right away. He stayed still, waiting for Lightning to release him.

Light released Riku when she realized they landed, the young woman dusting herself off lightly once she stood up. It was really dark here, and little did she know, the other Keybladers already arrived and had a meeting while she and Riku were gone. But Light didn't care about that anyway; she didn't truly feel like a member of the group.
Riku got off his glider after Lightning, his armor disappearing. He stood next to her, fighting the urge to lift a hand to her shoulders. He wanted to talk to her, but with so much going on...it probably wasn't the best time.

I'll let Riku go be with Sora and Kairi, Light thought, coming up with something that she could do during that time. Unless Riku wouldn't let her go alone. And it was pretty late, so he might have insisted she stayed inside. Well, she wouldn't know until she asked. "This town have a library?"
Riku blinked, but nodded. "Yeah, it's not too far," he said softly. Well, the one that wasn't in the castle a couple miles off. Obviously she wanted to go, though he wasn't sure why.
  • Author
"Mm," Light hummed, glancing in the direction of the path she'd have to take. She thought she remembered where the library was from when she grew up here, but she wanted to make sure. Would they let her in this late? ...Probably not.
Riku kept his eyes on Lightning, not saying anything. He wondered why she would want to go to the library so late, but he was already getting under her skin; he could tell. He didn't want a silly question to make it worse.

Light felt Riku's stare on her, whether he meant to stare or not. No, she couldn't go to the library and do research on that monster tonight. She's sleep on it and then get up early tomorrow morning, unless they were all running off again to search for Jafar and Hades.
Riku sighed softly, glancing away before he lifted a hand to cup the back of Lightning's head. He then leaned over and kissed her pink hair, his eyes closing with the action. He held it for a second, but then he pulled back, letting his hand fall as he started for the house, where the others should have been by now.

Light blinked at the action, surprised when Riku showed affection. He hadn't really shown much since their argument in Cocoon, and she certainly didn't expect it after their fight in Destiny Islands. She started walking after him when he was a few steps away, still thinking about that one small gesture.
Riku took a few more steps toward the door, then reaching for the handle and pushing it open. The living room was crowded with the others, and he silently nodded as he stepped out of the way, holding the door open for Lightning.

Lightning glanced at Riku before she stepped inside, seeing everyone on the couches. Sora was there too, something that she noticed quickly for some reason. He probably told everyone about what happened with Kairi by now.
Roxas was currently leaning against the arm of the couch, his arms over his chest. "Hey guys," he greeted lightly, nodding to them. "Any luck?" Sora had said they ran off somewhere, but never specified to what world. Roxas assumed they'd been looking for Jafar or Hades.
  • Author
"No," Lightning said, walking in and leaning against a wall since all the seats were taken. She knew Roxas was talking about Jafar, but she was thinking about what happened on Destiny Islands. She didn't have luck with trying to figure out how to unfreeze the world.
Roxas frowned a little at that news, though he hadn't exactly expected anything. If they found something, everyone would have heard of it by now. The only info they really had was what Namine told Riku, and the unfortunate event that occurred between Kairi and Sora because of Jafar. He wondered how Kairi was doing, anyway, since she was still sleeping.
  • Author
Light folded her arms over her chest, looking down at the ground when nobody said anything. Since Roxas was speaking, her thoughts went to Namine, who was still in Traverse Town. She must have been doing alright if Roxas was here.
Riku lingered by the door, his hands in his pockets as he leaned against the wall. He lifted his eyes to Sora, and since the room was quiet, he decided to ask something he'd been thinking about. "How is she?" he asked, referring to Kairi. Was she still sleeping? It'd been a few hours.
  • Author
"She's been asleep the whole time," Sora responded softly, nodding faintly. So that was a good thing in his eyes; she got away from reality for a while. He himself had slept for an hour or two before everyone else showed up.
