Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

"I'd like to stay with you tonight, if that's alright," Sora said softly to Kairi, hearing her shaky voice. He saw her bedroom before, and the bed was big enough for two. Even if it wasn't, he wanted to be close to her. She wasn't doing well at all.
Kairi nodded curtly, stopping mid-nod because of the voice inside her head. No, Kairi. You mustn't. All she wanted was for Jafar to get out of her head, but he wouldn't. The only way she could think to do it was to defy him and do the opposite of what he said. But what if the consequences were worse?

"Let's head back a while," Sora said to Kairi, feeling like she was experiencing awkwardness. He pushed himself off the couch, starting towards her. They could break away from the group, and he could see how she was really doing.
Kairi nodded again, lifting a hand to her hair again, tucking some behind her ear. She saw Sora approaching, but she turned, heading back toward her room. They could have more privacy there, and even if she was a little afraid of Sora being around her when no one else was, she had to get over it. He was the one who stopped her in the first place.

Lightning heard the two leave, her eyes still shut. She also heard Terra say something about going to bed, and Ven agreed with him. She was ready to go to bed as well, but there was no point in everyone rushing back there at the same time. She'd wait a minute or two.
Riku looked up to see a few more people leave, Roxas included as Aqua went along with Ven and Terra. There was no doubt in his mind that she'd be staying with the latter, that way Ven could have his own bed. That was fine. Riku would take the couch.

Let's see... Light silently thought, staying still. There was the bedroom Kairi was in, the one Terra and Aqua would share, and the room where two individual beds were for Roxas and Ven. There was one more room with a bed for two. How did she know? She used to come to this house when she was a kid. A kind old lady owned this house before and let her and Ven play hide and seek in it all the time since it was so large. But since there was another room, this meant she and Riku could both sleep in a bed, if they were both comfortable being that close after all the tension.
Riku saw everyone disappear and that left only him and Light in the living room. He could still feel the tension, since it floated in the space between them. He was still upset for what she did, but should he get over it? He didn't know, so he let the thought slip away.

"There's another bedroom that nobody's in," Light finally said without moving. Riku would probably ask how she knew that, but whatever. She sort of...wanted to sleep in the same room. She wanted something that could make the two of them feel closer again.
"You take it," Riku said after glancing over, his eyes now on the ground. "I've got the couch." He'd slept in more uncomfortable places. Besides, he didn't want Lightning experiencing anything but the best comfort provided. And that was the bed.

"I think it's a Queen bed," Lightning said softly, opening her eyes and looking down at the ground. She didn't feel right, letting Riku be alone when he obviously wasn't alright. She was the only person that could focus on him right now, even if she was...hurting him. She would try not to do that anymore.
Riku turned his head at that, looking at Lightning as he remained silent. A larger bed? What was Light getting at? She couldn't have meant that she wanted to share a bed with him after what just happened.

Light felt Riku's gaze on her, and the question behind it. Instead of speaking her actual thoughts, she brought up another point. "It's probably not smart to let me have my own room, in case there's a problem," she said softly, obviously referring to Fang and Vanille. She couldn't help but think back to the future, too, when Warp tried to kill her in her sleep. But Riku saved her.
"Mm," Riku hummed softly. Then he nodded, pushing himself away from the wall. "Alright." That made sense, but he wanted to sleep with Lightning tonight anyway. He missed her...even if they were together now.

Light finally pushed herself off the wall she had been leaning against, standing upright and unfolding her arms. She glanced over at Riku before she started towards the room, since she was closer to the hallway than Riku was anyway.
Riku saw Lightning go, and he watched her for a second before he followed after her. He felt bad for what he did earlier, dragging her away like that. They'd barely spoken since.

Lightning walked up the stairs, this house feeling as if it hadn't changed at all. It was crazy, since everything else was different. Regardless, once she reached the top of the stairs, the room was right there. She turned into it and flipped on the light, walking in towards the bed. Different sheets than she remembered, but the room itself was definitely familiar.
Riku followed Light inside, and once he was, he shut the door quietly behind him. Everyone else was already laying down, and some probably asleep. He was sure either he or Light would be the one to follow next.

Light stood by the bed and first unstrapped her sword case, setting it on the ground by the bed before she sat down on the furniture. She started working on her boots, knowing from experience that they were uncomfortable to sleep in.
Riku started over toward the bed as well, but before he sat down he took off his vest and tank underneath, throwing them on the dresser not too far away. The last time he slept on the same piece of furniture with Light was when she got back from her time in the future, and they snuggled on his couch. It felt like ages ago.

Light glanced over at Riku when he took off his shirt, but she forced herself not to stare at him. She finished with her boot and then got into the bed, pulling up some of the covers a while as she laid on her back. She normally laid on her side when she slept, but she wasn't sure whether to face Riku or turn the opposite direction. Both implied certain things.
Riku made his way over to the wall and flipped off the light when the woman he loved got into bed, and then he made his way over to the furniture to do the same thing. He crawled in beside her, but he didn't say anything. What could he say?

Light set a hand on her stomach above the sheets, her gaze on the ceiling even after Riku got into the bed and shut off the light. This wasn't awkward, it was just...tense. They hadn't agreed on anything the past few days, and today's argument was pretty bad. Maybe she shouldn't have been so forceful on Destiny Islands.
Riku stared up at the ceiling, tucking a hand behind his head with the arm on the opposite side that Lightning was on, not wanting to hit her in the head with his elbow. He didn't say anything, just listening to Light's breathing from beside him. He felt bad for what he did earlier, making her leave because it was too hard for him to be at the Islands. That was selfish of him.

Lightning exhaled a soft breath, letting her eyes close. There was no point in thinking about it. She and Riku probably weren't going to talk tonight, just because things were a little too tense for them to break through right now. It would have to wait.
