Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Riku looked down at his chest, pulling at the sides of his open vest, revealing his black zip-up tank underneath. He released a small breath and lowered his arms to his sides, lifting his gaze then to the young woman in the room.

This time, Light did feel Riku's gaze on her. She turned slightly, straightening her jacket as she did so. "I'll catch up with you guys later," she said with a small nod. Whether somebody came to get her, or she came back on her own, she would see him later today.
Riku nodded a little, a small hum leaving his lips. That would be okay, though he did want to be by Light's side. But it seemed as if she wanted to be alone for a while. He would grant her that wish.

Light waved slightly as she started walking away, wondering what was up with Riku. He was quiet, like he had been for the past week, but the silence was different. She wasn't getting a tense vibe from him. She shook her head slightly once she was in the hall and out of his sight, getting her thoughts straight. She had some research to do on how to unfreeze the Islands...alone, despite what she heard in her dream. Her dream was only a fantasy.
Riku stared at the door once Lightning was gone, and he released a small sigh. He knew he would have to talk to Lightning soon, but it would have to wait. Right now, they had to focus on Jafar and Hades.

A few hours passed after Light left, though the time flew by pretty quickly for her. She was in the town's library, looking up things about what they called "Greek Fantasy". What they didn't know was that the Greek culture existed in another world, along with the monster the books claimed to imagine up. The Ice Titan, a beast powerful enough to freeze a whole world. And powerful enough, according to the books, to not have a single weakness. After hours of searching, she was no closer to getting the answers she sought.
Riku walked along the cobblestone, passing a few people he recognized from the Islands as he made his way to the library. Light still wasn't back, so he guessed she was still hitting the books. Hopefully she was getting whatever information she was seeking, since everyone else finally came up with a plan.

"So frustrating!" Light murmured, shoving the book off the table she sat at. It landed on the ground, and she was glad she was in a room secluded from everything else. People would have looked at her funny if they saw her frantic search. She clenched her hands in fists and just sat at the table for a while, staring down at it through stressed and angered eyes. She was right in what she thought before: she didn't make a difference in this time period.
Riku saw the library up ahead and he approached the door, going on inside. It wasn't too crowded, and incredibly quiet, just as he expected. He started walking through, looking for the one he loved.

But just because Light believed that, she wasn't going to stop searching. Nothing was in this library, but she knew of another one in this world. It was in the castle where she first awoke from her crystal stasis, the place where she also signed her life over to Maleficent. Could she...really go back there? Everything concerning the witch was still pretty touchy.
Riku saw a couple people sitting at tables looking into books or doing research, but he didn't see Lightning anywhere. He noticed that there were separate rooms, and all the doors were open. He figured he would just peek his head in and see if she was in any of those.

Light glanced over to the side and saw that there was one more book left for her to check, so she would look at it quick. She pulled it in front of her and opened it, an elbow on the table and a hand on her cheek as she leaned into it and gazed at the book.
Riku looked in a couple rooms, but didn't find Lightning in any of them. But the third one he searched he found her. He leaned his shoulder against the doorway, just looking at her from where he was. She looked a little worn out, but she was still just as beautiful as she'd always been. "Hey," Riku called softly.

Light blinked at the interruption, lowering her hand from her face and laying her arm across the book subconsciously. She looked to the door and saw who was standing there, and whose gaze seemed to hold more behind it than she could decipher. "Hey."
Riku tilted his head a little, lifting an eyebrow. "Any luck?" he asked, referring to Light's research. She'd been at this for hours, which was how long the discussion with the others took. She was still at it, so he hoped she at least found something.

"No," Light said, shaking her head and shutting the book. Even with just once glance at it, she could tell it was going to be useless. Nothing in this library was going to help her know more about the Ice Titan and how to reverse his powers.
"Mm," Riku hummed softly, lowering his arched eyebrow. That was too bad. But...he was willing to help if he could. Like he said the night before, Lightning wasn't going at this alone. Not anymore.

"What did you guys decide?" Lightning asked, leaning back in her chair and folding her arms over her chest as she looked at Riku. It seemed like he wanted to act like they never fought, and she was okay with that for now.
Riku's eyebrows furrowed at the question, but he answered. "We're gonna go to Hades before he can get to us," he said softly. It would be difficult, but they could do it. As long as they stuck together, anyway.

Light hummed slightly, eyebrows furrowing in seriousness. If they were going to Hades, there was probably a good chance Fang and Vanille would also be involved. But if they all stuck together, they could handle the three. And Jafar, if he showed up.
Riku focused on Lightning a little more, reading her expression the best he could. But then he focused on he task at hand. "So are you with us?" he asked. Was she going to fight alongside them, or no?
  • Author
"I don't have much other choice," Light said with a shrug. "If I'm alone, I'll be ambushed." That was how Riku seemed to view things, anyway. He believed she was vulnerable almost twenty-four seven, and while she was in danger of being ambushed by Fang and Vanille, she was calmer about it than he was. But she still wasn't stupid.
Riku's eyes narrowed a little at the words, but he nodded in acceptance. Light was right with half of it; she could possibly be ambushed. But no one was forcing her to fight alongside them...

Light arched a brow at the look Riku was giving her, wondering what was going on with him. He was acting so strange. He stared at her a lot today, with a lot of weight behind the gaze. Not tension but...softness. And she didn't understand why that was.
Riku caught Light's look and his eyes instead widened as he glanced away. He pushed himself away from the doorway and lifted a hand to run through his short hair. "Uh, I guess...I'll see you back at the house," he said softly. Whenever she was finished.
