Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Just inside the house, Kairi sat curled up against the arm of the couch. Sora was with her, and so were the others, but they would be leaving soon to go fight Hades. But...Sora wasn't in the kind of shape to do any fighting...because of her.

Sora sat on the couch next to Kairi, an arm over the back of the couch behind Kairi. He tried talking to her a few times lately about what was going on, but she wasn't too talkative. Honestly, he didn't really think it was that bad of a thing everyone decided he needed to sit out a fight. He got to stay with Kairi when she needed him.
Kairi kept her arms crossed over her chest, her knees pulled up to her chest as she leaned against the arm of the furniture. Sora was on her other side, but she still felt nervous about being too close. She didn't want a repeat of what happened earlier.

"Kairi," Sora silently said to the girl he loved, looking over at her. "Please, talk to me." She wasn't acting like herself at all, but he could tell she wasn't under Jafar's control. She seemed to be alright whenever he was close.
Kairi heard the call and plead, but she couldn't make herself respond. She lowered her gaze from Aqua and Terra to her knees close to her chest. What was she supposed to say to Sora? She said sorry so many times, but she knew that wouldn't make a difference; the damage was already done.

Sora frowned slightly, looking over to the other side. He knew he didn't do anything wrong; he made sure of it. He was trying to be there for Kairi, but she was just pushing him away. Why do we push away the people we love?
Kairi could feel the tension from Sora, but she was sure she caused more than half of it. I'm sorry, she thought softly. She then closed her eyes, lowering her head. You've already said that. You can't say it anymore. Those were her thoughts; Jafar hadn't bothered her since she was so close to Sora. She had a small nightmare last night, but that was it.

I don't want an apology, Sora silently thought, unaware that his thoughts could be overheard by Kairi. I just want to hold you and take away this pain. It hurt, having her tune him out like this when all he wanted to do was help.
Kairi pressed her lips together at the message that reached her, the emotion behind it getting to her. "...I know," she replied silently, keeping her eyes closed. "But, I'm scared." She didn't want to hurt Sora again.

Sora looked over at Kairi, hearing her respond to the thoughts he previously thought were private. "Don't be, he responded. "I'm not going to let him hurt you again." Jafar was done messing with the girl he loved.
Kairi allowed her heart to speak for her, and it only spoke the truth. "I don't care about myself," she admitted softly. "I'm worried about you." She didn't want to hurt him again; she nearly killed him the last time.

"Don't worry about me. I'm fine," Sora insisted, shaking his head slightly and moving his hand from the back of the couch to lightly sit on Kairi's head. He was wounded, but feeling better today. And he was with her. As long as that was the case, he would be alright.
The touch was somewhat soothing, Kairi had to admit. But...still. "What if something happens?" she asked softly. What if Jafar got a hold of her again, and she couldn't fight him off this time? And Sora couldn't get to her?
  • Author
"Then I'll be there to snap you out of it," Sora said, ocean blue eyes on the girl he would love and cherish forever. He wouldn't let these fears of hers come true. He would protect her from Jafar in any way that he could.
Kairi turned her head to look up at Sora, though that didn't affect his hand against her hair. "But what if I...?" She couldn't even finish the question. She didn't want to end the life of the one she loved.

"You won't," Sora said firmly, sure that he was right. Kairi wouldn't get that deep into the trance again and try to attack him. And if she did turn on him, he could find a way to bring her back to him. He would never, ever give up on her.
The firmness in Sora's tone made Kairi fall silent, even within. She lowered her gaze a little, to the lack of space between them. She wanted to believe him, but she could still feel Jafar's power within her. It was scary.

"Kairi," Sora said more gently. "Trust me." He wasn't going to let Jafar get his way, and he wouldn't abandon Kairi in a way like this. As long as he had a say in it, he'd be by her side forever.
Kairi leaned over a little, allowing her head to rest against Sora's shoulder. "I do," she answered confidently, no doubt in her heart at all. She trusted Sora with her life, as she always had. He was her warrior.

Sora took his hand off Kairi's head and wrapped it lightly around her shoulders, feeling a little pain in his back because of the small movement but not showing it. He had faith in Kairi, and she had faith in him. They'd be fine.
Kairi nuzzled her forehead against Sora's neck, lifting one of her hands to grip his shirt. "...I'm sorry, in advance," she said weakly. "Just in case." She was scared she'd lose herself again. She could never hurt Sora, not willingly. She never wanted to.

Sora shook his head softly, looking down at the girl that held onto him. "No need to apologize," he said. "Because nothing's going to happen. ...Have faith in yourself, Kairi." She broke out of Jafar's spell before; she could do it again if she needed to.
Kairi nodded slightly, not wanting to move out of Sora's hold or lose the comfort he provided for the moment. She looked out over the room as he held her, seeing the others talking and enjoying themselves while they could. But Sora would be with her. As relieved as she was for that, she was still kind of scared. For obvious reasons.
  • Author
Sora kept his gaze on Kairi, leaning his head down a little and giving her a small kiss. When he was done, he kept his head close to hers, nuzzling against it. She was his, always. He would never let her go.
Kairi closed her eyes at the affection, her grasp on Sora's shirt tightening a little. I don't ever want to lose him, she thought silently. And with Sora so close, Jafar didn't bother her as much, so none of his contradicting words could affect her right now. That was good, because all she wanted was to be with the boy who treated her like gold, and who had a heart the same.
