Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Aqua looked at Sora for a moment, seeing how young he was. Even if he was young, he had wisdom beyond his years. But still, she had a piece of information that she needed to explain to him. She didn't know if he heard it before, but it wasn't really a big issue. "Sora, even the strongest friendships travel down tough roads," Aqua told him. "Terra, Ven, and I are a perfect example, you know that." They had rough times in their past as well, especially revolving around Xehanort. "But we're closer than we've ever been before. Certainly you, Kairi, and Riku can be the same..."

Sora shook his head slightly, his gaze moving from his hand to his wounded arm, the wound not even close to reflecting the gash he felt like he had in his heart. "They won't talk to me, Aqua," he said softly. "It's over." He had been willing to sort things out, but obviously they weren't.
Aqua's eyes softened greatly at those last two words, the young woman switching her gaze to the snow once more. That was awful...that Sora thought that way. Aqua could clearly see how much his friends still cared for him back home, but he saw a different side of them than she did. Was she wrong?

Aqua had told Sora that communication was important, and he agreed. He had tried to sort things out, but it backfired when Kairi was acting bizarre and looking at him like he wasn't himself. And then when she broke up with him, he lost hope for recovering either of the friendships he used to have with his best friends.
"...You've lost faith?" Aqua asked after a period of silence. She found it hard to believe that Sora, of all people, would lose that. He had some of the strongest faith she'd ever seen, and he was going to lose it so quickly?

Sora waited a moment, thinking it over before he knew the truth. "Yeah," he said softly, his eyes shutting and his head lowering in sadness. He had lost faith, because he had also lost his Light.
Aqua lifted her eyes to the scenery again, not knowing what to say to that. That was a shame, definitely. She didn't know how bad things were between Sora and his friends until now, actually talking to him about it. And she felt awful...

Sora lost his faith, and so he couldn't really believe that Riku and Kairi wanted him back. Like he had told Aqua before, if Riku really cared, then he would have been the one sitting beside him in the snow.
Aqua smiled weakly, not believing that something so awful could happen to a boy Sora's age. "I guess I'm not going back then," she said softly, keeping her eyes on the city below. She wasn't going back without Sora, that being a promise she made to herself.

"Mm?" Sora hummed automatically, looking over at Aqua when he felt confused. She had said at the start that she promised Terra and Ven that she would be back. She was breaking that promise?
"Not without you, at least," Aqua finished, hearing Sora's hum of question. "You have to return to your roots sometime, you know? Everyone does." She leaned her head forward, resting her chin on her arms again, keeping her eyes set forward. Until then, Aqua would sit here, with Sora. Things would be okay.

Sora shook his head, frowning at how determined Aqua seemed to bring him home. "Go home," he said to her, not making it a request. She had people that she belonged with; people that needed her. She needed to be with Terra and Ventus.
Aqua didn't say anything. She didn't even move. She wasn't leaving Sora here by himself, or on any other world. He wanted her to go back? He was coming with her. It was that simple.

"Aqua," Sora said firmly, the indent in his forehead increasing in frustration. She needed to return to the people that loved her; Sora would have to find a new place where he belonged now. Couldn't she see it was time for him to move onto something else?
Aqua still didn't move, glancing at Sora out of the corner of her eye. However, she looked forward right after that, keeping her comfortable position. She could hear his frustration, but she wasn't about to leave that easily. He was about to see how stubborn she could be.

"That's real mature," Sora muttered, frowning at the girl beside him. This was the kind of thing he would do to somebody, but he was years younger than her. And she was an official Keyblade Master; shouldn't she have been above such tactics?
Aqua smirked faintly at the comment. "So is running away," she countered, her tone calm despite what he just said to her. She was playing Sora's game now, however immature it was in his eyes. But it was a bit hypocritical of him, at least to her.
  • Author
"You're not supposed to stoop to my level," Sora responded, trying to keep himself from snapping. She was a Keyblade Master; she shouldn't have been acting this way. She was so...immature! And stubborn!
"Oh?" Aqua lifted her eyebrows, turning her head to look at Sora. "And why's that?" Was it because she was older? Because that would have been a bit stereotypical of him.
  • Author
"You're a Keyblade Master," Sora responded without missing a beat. "You shouldn't act so..." Childish, he thought, finishing the sentence in his mind. That was how he was acting, but that was because he really was a child.
Aqua only smiled. "Mm," she hummed, turning her gaze forward again. "So it's what my Mark of Mastery makes me then, now is it?" She thought about it for a moment, contemplating that. There was something Sora was missing about her title, though.
  • Author
Sora furrowed his eyebrows slightly, not knowing how to respond to that. Of course there was more to Aqua than just her title, but still...She shouldn't have been acting this way.
"I'm going to let you in on a little secret, Sora," Aqua said, turning her head to look at him again. "As Keyblade Master, there comes responsibility and power. But besides the power of the Keyblade, in the Master alone there's authority over other fellow Keyblade wielders." She gave him a look, implying what she meant. Aqua may not have been his Master, but she was the only one left in existence. Love it or hate it, she was there.

Sora's eyes narrowed, the brunet understanding what she was saying. She outranked him, and that meant that she had the right to order him home. "You wouldn't..." he said lowly, though he knew that she would. But what would she do if he disobeyed? She wouldn't battle him...would she?
Aqua only lifted her eyebrows, smiling lightly as she looked forward again. Sora could test her if he wanted, but he would lose. And pretty quickly.
